Came for lunch and had a great time. The beers were surprisingly diverse and I enjoyed the saison. The belgian strong was perhaps a tad on the hoppy side, but decent. The food was good too. it's an abbreviated menu but it's got everything you'd want alongside a couple beers, especially at lunch. I got the special that day which was a rib tip burger which was fantastic. The rib tips were well cooked and absolutely delicious. My wife's chicken sandwich was also quite good, not as unique or as rich, but the chicken was also excellently cooked. Can't miss kinda stop. Started with phenomenal attention and service by Kelly (who was totally running the show on her own and killing it, btw)! Wow! We had the fish and chips and the brisket sandwich. The kids had hot dogs. Everything was beyond amazing. I'm picky with my 5 star reviews but they do it right. The waitress was super nice and and they are kid friendly. There is no ambiance per se, it's a small place. All of the sauces are house made and the beer was amazing too. We got the flight and the costs Norte and oh my guava were my favorite. Even the porter was good and I'm not a dark beer drinker. Will definitely be back!! read more

We ate and had drinks here two days in a row. What a fantastic time. The staff were super friendly. We ordered the Thursday night special which was BBQ ribs and a couple of beers. The next day after exploring the area we came back for drinks across the road at the brewery. Then we ordered the poutine appetizer to share. Very yummy. I stopped in for a tasting. My favorites were the Glowsun and the Gold Coast Tiki. The Light Stripes is a bit too light for me and the Conjurer is pretty strong and a bit bitter. I have gotten the Costa Norte at their other locations and that is one of my favorites. They were out of Killer Bees and said they may not have it again until next year. The vibe is pretty casual and it was very cold inside. Hill District might be more my jam, but the beer is good and the tasting was cheap compared to other places. Friendly staff. read more

Came here because we called and they said dogs were allowed. Parking was great because they have their own lot right in front. Inside was pretty spacious and it was a plus because they had tvs that showed football games. Their menu was pretty small but they have some good foods. If you come here, you have to get their chicken burger! It was super delicious! Definitely better than the beef brisket poutine. My friends ordered it and said it was just alright. I ordered a seltzer and was disappointed. It was clear and tasted like non carbonated soda water (I forgot the name). The staff was super nice and not once did they tell our puppies to be quiet when they started acting up. If you are in this area, check this place out! read more

I've been wanting to try North Pier for quite a while, I've purchased their beers at a couple of bottle shops and really enjoyed them but had never made the trek to the facility. We dined at the Hill District building. Our party of four enjoyed the poutine as an appetizer which certainly filled our stomachs before ever getting are actual meals. Safe to say, we went home stuffed. The staff and the service were great. Everyone working worked together on all tables. The Beer list was short at this building but great options. I really enjoyed Oh My Guava. I'm really looking forward to get to the taproom and outdoor space soon. It looks like a great place to be after the beach. read more

Had a great time at this cute establishment. We had a beer flight and a make your own hard seltzer. They have a bunch of flavors for the make your own seltzer and a great list of beers. You order inside and wait for your drinks. The bar itself open air which is a big plus for us. The outdoor patio is super cute and I'm guessing even better at night with the lights on! read more

North Pier Brewing Company is owned by the same people that own the restaurant North Shore Inn across the street.  While North Pier does sell some food, you are more than welcome to bring your meal from next door over. We came in on Monday June 17th and my husband got the horseman cider while I ordered the oh my guava.  They were both delicious but I must admit I liked the horseman cider better.  When I come next time I will not only be interested in trying a new beverage but I was concidering getting some tacos. I liked the ambience and their choice to have other fun activities outside of a pool table like the giant connect four grid.  I loved the wood tables and the coasters were cute too.  I am excited to come back to just relax with a treat and a drink.  Maybe even kick my husbands butt in connect four. read more

The staff here is great, it is annoying to me when the staff bothers you too much or doesn't come over to refill waters. This was not the case, the staff was great! Being someone who does not love food, I was very impressed. Our whole group enjoyed our meal and had a great time. The building although a little small did not have a long wait. We have been here for drinks and dinner 3 times now. Always has been good. 10 craft beers brewed on site, plus 5 of their own cocktails on draft. Very good Tex-Mex food with good smoked brisket, pulled pork, smoked chicken wings. Last night it was Mac n cheese with brisket for me; it was huge and delicious. She had the cheese quesadilla with smoked chicken and chipotle mayo on the side for dipping; loved it. We took home a couple of 4 packs of the Cut n Run and the IPA. Everything we had as far as drinks go were phenomenal, the food tastes better than it looks, and the patio/open dining was great. This is order at the bar service and they bring food to your table. While looking for pet friendly breweries North Pier popped up. Quick stop and now this place is on the top of my list. Great location with a beautiful patio area and not only the patio is pet friendly but if your pet is friendly the indoor area is pet friendly too. This is the 2nd time we have been here. Didn't review them last time, but we had tacos and they were really good. They have a unique selection of beers and mixed drinks. You can sit wherever you want and then when ready, go the bar to place your order. They'll bring it out when it is ready. Last time they had a good selection of board games you can play, but those were put away for COVID. They did have some dining igloos you could reserve, but we sat inside. We had the pretzel and beer cheese (really good, soft on the inside, somewhat crunchy on the outside, flavorful beer cheese) and the Queso Asado. The Queso Asado had great flavor and was a bit of cheesy goodness on a nice crisply toasted bread. It was to die for. It came with the black beans, which I would definitely not get again, just not a fan. Hubby had the Old Tom beer, which I don't typically like beer, but this was so light and smooth, I found myself drinking his beer. I had one of the mixed drinks which was also pretty good, but unfortunately I don't remember what it was. Service was leisurely, but very friendly. We would definitely go again. read more

A huge part of the craft brewery explosion has been how family-friendly craft beer culture has become. Well ... our kids are the four-legged variety and it's much harder to find spots where they're welcome. We were thrilled that North Pier's patio is pooch-friendly and they keep gas fire pits burning in the late-winter/early-spring to stretch out the season where that's an option. Our little chihuahua loved getting passed from lap to lap and sporting a cute little "I'm a wee-bit Irish" hat while his mom and dad delighted in a super tasty stout. We'll be back to visit another time when it's not so busy -- we got there just as the St. Patrick's Day pub crawl was stumbling in. They had an Irish food buffet out for the pub crawlers that looked divine. They also have shuffleboard and a handful of games. Good selection of brews including hard cider. Free snacks including nuts and popcorn. Tap room itself needs sound insulation as the noise the night we visited was deafening. We were there fairly late in the evening and were surprised by the number of pre-schoolers running around and screaming. An old school table shuffleboard game is available for use by patrons. We eventually went out to the very nice patio area so we could hear ourselves think and were nearly carried away by mosquitoes.
