The home is always clean and bright. My father is always clean, bathed, and dressed in clean clothes. The grounds are beautiful and enjoyed by the residents when weather allows. The owner, Nucharee Yokdang, is very knowledgeable about running an assisted living/group home, including being able to help with all the necessary paperwork for long term care reimbursement and hospice. She knows just what the elderly need from a care perspective and is always looking for ways to improve their quality of life. The Holiday parties and other activities they do are wonderful for residents and family members. The whole staff treat their residents with such love, care, and respect, you can tell they view them as part of their own extended family. The greatest compliment that I can give though is the fact that my father calls it HOME! I feel so blessed there is such a wonderful place with amazing people for my father to spend his last years. We toured several facilities in the area and Stone Valley stood out to us because it was only Memory Care and the one-story layout felt like a big, beautiful house. Residents were engaged in activities, and the atmosphere was so calm. We decided to admit my mother-in-law on a one-month respite so we could evaluate whether or not this was the right decision. This is no easy decision as anyone who has faced this knows. On the day of her admission, Megan and Aileene greeted us and helped get her situated and then immediately got her engaged in an activity. She had some difficult moments for several weeks but by the time the month was up, she had adjusted quite well and actually thought she worked there as she had a nursing background and was a former assistant director of nursing at a nursing home. The atmosphere at Stone Valley is always very calm. Residents can walk as much as they want and participate in activities they choose. Residents are treated to a lovely dining room and are served three wonderful meals every day in addition to receiving 2 snacks. There is a salon on site and residents can get their hair and nails done. Maggie is phenomenal. Residents are treated with such dignity, and the caregivers are so compassionate, caring, and kind. Ben King is the current executive director and he and his team lead by example. My mother-in-law sadly passed away two days ago, and the entire team was supportive and loving. Prior to her passing she would tell us, "I love this place!" We are beyond grateful for the love and support both my mother-in-law and our family received. If you are facing a similar decision with a loved one, I would highly recommend giving them a call and taking a tour.

They just want a room number and they'll let you in. They had ONE nurse assigned to an entire area. She went on lunch when my grandma nearly choked to death and the other staff simply said "I'm not qualified to help with that". She was bed ridden and could not move at all. They refused to clean her when she went to the bathroom and ignored her when she wrote help on paper over and over again. She was old but mentally clear and they constantly assumed she was senile, talking down to her like a child. Another patient down the hall was crying and screaming for help and no one came for almost 30 mins, even after we tried to chase down the nurse. The staff is rude and claims that they can't help with things even though it's literally their job. We ended up having to call an ambulance to take her to the hospital just to get her out of this place. Hospital found out that she got pneumonia from their neglect. She passed away a few days later. I regret sending her here.

Unprofessional, trashy, and plain idiotic people. They continue to push end of life (even at points where she was not at end of life), they want their customers to pass and do not care how and do not care if they are comfortable. If you want your loved ones dying in pain, these are the people to provide that service. If you love your loved one(s), again, DO NOT take them to these despicable people.

Let me tell you, we didn't have it and we absolutely needed help. The care they provided gave us the opportunity to just be with my mom. No need to worry about medication and other things. It was such a great comfort to have Anna with us when my mom actually passed (and my mom's name is Anna ... kind of a sign!).
