My little guy, Jack who is 11, was having some intense teeth pain. After reviewing on yelp, I decided to give Hope a try. They were offering a $30 consultation which I thought was fair. Leslie at the front desk is very pleasant and the office is nice and clean. Jack was very comfortable with Dr. An. I was given a written estimate on the low and the high side. I scheduled an appointment a few days later after his bloodwork showed he should be fine with anesthesia. I brought Jack in at 8:30 and I was able to pick him up at 3:30. Dr. An called after Jack was sedated to let me know that his teeth needed to be extracted. 6 teeth! Jack did great and he is acting like a puppy again. He's able to eat without pain! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Hope Veterinary Care truly lived up to its name this week, and I'll forever be grateful for how they cared for Bruce--my best friend, my son, and my heart. After Bruce was attacked by a neighbor's dog, I was panicked, emotional, and unsure where to turn. I called several vet offices, but none could accommodate us right away--until I reached Hope Veterinary Care. Dr. An and her team didn't hesitate--they told me to bring Bruce in immediately and made space for him the same day, no questions asked. to make sure he's getting at least the bare minimum care and did not want to deny him. We are'nt new patients by the way, it's just a bit further of a drive for us from home BUT ALL WORTH IT I PROMISE... From the moment we walked in, I was greeted by Lizzy, the kind of office clerk every clinic needs. She was warm, kind, and incredibly present--not just doing her job, but truly seeing us. She remembered Bruce's name and spoke to him like he was her own. Later that day, when I called to check on him, she said she had been talking to him through the gate after surgery--just being sweet and comforting. I nearly cried from how touched I was. When I told her I was on my way to pick him up, she smiled and said, "I'll go tell Bruce right now." That level of human compassion in a veterinary office is rare, and Lizzy was a big reason I felt calm while waiting. Dr. An, from the start, was incredibly thorough, calm, and honest. She examined Bruce carefully and discovered another bite mark near his rib, which wasn't initially visible. She explained that there was swelling, and while an X-ray might help, she didn't push it--she told me the truth: it might not change the course of treatment and would cost $400+ for XRAY. Instead, she prescribed pain medication and took a conservative but caring approach that felt both ethical and financially considerate. I truly believe Dr. An balances compassion with professionalism better than any vet I've worked with. Even though her practice may come at a slightly higher price, I would choose her every time because I know she operates with transparency and integrity. She didn't rush us. She answered every question and made me feel like Bruce mattered--not just as a patient, but as someone deeply loved. Pre-op, post-op, and every moment in between, I felt cared for--and so did Bruce. This experience could have been traumatizing, but Hope Veterinary Care softened every edge. I can't thank them enough for making a heartbreaking situation feel hopeful. I've been taking my dog Beasty to Dr. An's practice for several years now. She's been very helpful over the years with treating Beasty. The staff is very attentive and usually I can get an appointment fairly quickly. Price-wise they can be a bit more expensive than other places, but it's worth it because they do care about your pet. Dr. An provides a range of medical options which is helpful. The extra cost you pay goes towards a quick response and a more personal experience versus the typical large corporatized uncaring experience. My dog Beasty also had 2 TPLO surgeries here due to ACL cruciate tears. Both surgeries went very well overall. Her husband actually does the surgeries and they both do good work. I highly recommend Dr. An for anyone looking quality care, as that is hard to find these days. I'm very happy to support a smaller practice like this one because of the care they provide. read more

Found this vet because my 2 cats got fleas and got treated at our normal-ish vet. The vet didnt mention de-worming my cats which i thought was very weird. Of course, 2 days later, one of my cat had worms after all. I already spent a few hundred $$ on the original visit so I tried to call my vet several times. No answer. Closed. :( I couldn't wait to see the vet Monday with worms so i luckily found Hope vet care. They were so nice and got us in no prob. Treated both my cats and i felt we were taken care of. Only bummer was had to pay another exam visit since my original vet was closed. Could have all been avoided the first visit. We did 2 visits in 2022. Then we did 3 other visits early in the year for a limping concern and regular vaccinations. The office was always professional, and we appreciated Dr. An's helpfulness. I did switch vets as we never felt truly comfortable visiting... Our pup was initially nervous (running away), and though this improved, the doctor's office never comforted or acted friendly to him. During the last few months, Dr. An provided pain medication and end of life care for my "elderly" dog, Butter, which significantly reduced her pain level and improved her quality of life. As I was letting my head take me down the " rabbit hole" of scary possibilities Dr Tan helped relax me as she went over the exam plan one step at a time. Dr And I discussed the best route of treatment, they quickly took the X-rays and the lab work, and were dispensed all the meds we needed quickly and were able to start the treatment right away. My three month old puppy keeps scratching and shaking her aggressively. It might be an ear infection. My vet didn't do a thorough check on her and prescribed her a solution for her ears which really didn't help with her pain. He said if it doesn't work the next step is to get a sample of her earwax to send to the lab for $250. I wanted to get a second opinion. Last night, I managed to get an appointment for today at 5PM at Adams Pet Hospital. After reading the reviews, I was a little hesitant about going here. After my visit, I'm extremely happy with their service. Dr. Tan and the nurses are so friendly, thorough and really put me at ease. For first time clients, the exam was free. They even gave me discounts for some of the service and cut my puppy nails as a courtesy to avoid her from scratching herself. I truly felt they cared about my puppy well-being. I took my fur baby in for his checkup ( for medication refills ) and nail trim. Crystal, Laura and Dr Tan are so professional, thorough, nice and so friendly. I expected to pay for the visit but was pleasantly surprised that the services were free after I checked in with Yelp. Normally I was told the checkup is 48 dollars and nail trim is 25 dollars. Even if I had to pay, the price is very reasonable and the service is outstanding. The last vet charged me ( for my other fur baby ) over 80 dollars and the office staff/manager was rude. The veterinarian called me on the phone to update me about the visit. Dr. Tan of Adams Pet hospital came out to my car and talked to me. It shows that she values her client/patient. My family and i have been taking our pets to Adams Pet Hospital for over 20 years. This weekend I took our 15 year old Maltipoo in for routine anal gland expression. Unfortunately I left my wallet at home so I asked the person at the front if it was possible to pay with Apple Pay or I could call back once I got home with the credit card info. The lady at the front couldn't make that call so she said she needed to go back and ask the dr. When she returned she said unfortunately I would either need to go home or see if I could call my wife to get the card info. Fortunately my wife picked up the phone even though she was in the middle of a nail appointment and we were able to provide the credit card info. I was kind of peeved that they wouldn't provide the service unless I had payment right then. I mean 20 plus years we have been going there and they didn't even offer the option to send me an invoice for the services or allow me to call back with the info. I asked to speak with the dr. but she was too busy to see me. I told the two ladies up front to let the dr. know that I would be taking my business elsewhere and before I could get the words out of my mouth they said they understood. The point I am making is that if they don't even trust a 20 plus year good customer to pay a 25.00 bill than I don't think they understand the meaning of good customer service. I'll add to this that they also recently recommended putting my old dog under anesthesia for teeth cleaning and anal gland work. I of course went for a second opinion and there was no need for anesthesia. Finally, while I was there a family was unfortunately having to put their pet down. The room they were in is just off the lobby and you could hear the poor owners crying. I would think on such a sad situation the owners would be afforded more privacy in a back office versus right out front where all can be heard. I had no choice but to leave the lobby during this time as it was unbearable to continue hearing their pain. read more

My wife and I have been bringing our dog to Adams Pet Hospital since the original ownership going on 5 years. Today was a major disappointment. We had an appointment. Showed up early. The nurse put us in the patient room and we sat there for 40 min while we watched at least 5 dogs come in and out after us. I made eye contact with the doctor and nurses several times. Not one employee came to check on us. I understand Saturdays are busy. But we were there to only renew flea medication. Stuffed in a small room with masks on trying to wrangle an excited dog for 40 minutes being forgotten was not how we wanted to spend our Saturday. We saw another dog leave that came in way after us and we finally had enough. We popped the door open and asked if we should reschedule. The nurse said "I told the doctor to see you first" no empathy. No apology. No medication. No rescheduled appointment. Zero effort to fix the situation. We will not be back. I don't mind spending double the money to have good service elsewhere. read more
