We have gone to Dr Woods and his great staff for years now. He and his office have always been there and helped us with our pets in time of need and for routine check ups. They communicate with my wife and I in a timely manner. Refills and appointments are available when we need them. Most recently my young dog was very sick and on the verge of death. We took him to an emergency room vet on the weekend. They couldn't figure out what was wrong and he was getting worse. We took him to Dr Woods and he quickly diagnosed and appropriately treated our dog and saved his life. Within 12 hours we had our dog back and I am so grateful to Dr Woods and his staff for saving our dog's life. Thank you Dr Woods and staff!

My guys always get excellent and thoughtful care from Dr Woods. The staff is super helpful and accommodating. I drive over 30 miles to take my little guys here.

Great vet, listens well, knowledgeable, sensitive and kind with pets. Very please. My pets health has improved dramatically since seeing him. I'm very thankful for his care and his great staff.

Dr. Woods and his staff are wonderful. In my opinion, he is the most knowledgeable veterinarian on the west coast. Tigi, my 13 year old Yorkshire Terrier, and I have been seeing Dr. Woods for nearly 4 years -- following him from his office in Garden Grove now to Orange. When I first started looking for alternative medicine, he was one of the first and only, which is why I still travel from Phoenix, Arizona just to see him. What separates Dr. Woods from most veterinarians is his extensive knowledge of holistic medicine and the manner in which he treats his furry patients. He has kept Tigi off of prescription medications and has treated her incontinence problem with diet and Chinese medicine alone. As she ages and things change or certain problems resurface, he suggests slow adjustments to diet and medicine until the correct the problem. I never feel rushed through my appointments. He and his staff explain everything in great detail. When I am in need of medicine refills, his staff ships it out immediately. His conservative approach to medicine is assuring -- he treats the patient, not the disease. I especially am a huge fan of his use of ultrasounds to do internal organ/gut checks. For me, the ultrasounds bring a higher level of visual assurance knowing my pet is in good health. The new office is beautiful and very comfortable. They offer WiFi, free dog toys and snacks/coffee for the owners. I continue to trust Dr. Woods and his staff to the upmost with my most cherished best friend.

This review is long overdue. I've been bringing my dog, Chelsea, to OC Veterinary for 10 years,…read moreever since I moved her down from the Bay Area. Chelsea recently passed away at 17, almost 18. She had such a long, happy life because of the care she received here. Chelsea was my baby, and I know how hard it can be to find a good vet. Pets can't talk, but you can see when they are genuinely cared for--and Chelsea got the best care at OC Veterinary. From the receptionists to the doctors, she was loved by everyone, and I am so grateful for that. Chelsea saw both Dr. Horn and, mostly, Dr. Nikki--both are exceptional veterinarians. We saw Dr. Nikki the most, and we had a very special connection with her. After Chelsea passed, Dr. Nikki even reached out to check on us, which was incredibly kind. She is practical, compassionate, and everything you could want in a vet. Chelsea also saw the groomer, Heather, who was very gentle and careful with her. Chelsea had back issues and was an older little lady, so it was comforting to know she was in safe hands. Sandra and Steve also made a big impact on Chelsea's life, especially Steve. They cared for her like she was their own family. Steve even called to check on us after Chelsea passed, which meant so much. I'm sorry this review comes so late, but I feel Chelsea would have wanted me to write it, and I want to honor her memory. No one enjoys visiting the doctor, but I am so grateful that we found such a wonderful facility to care for Chelsea. I loved her with all my heart, and after our family, OC Veterinary loved her most.

The front desk was so friendly, they were patient, thorough, and answered all of my questions (even the slightly neurotic ones lol) The hospital is clean, spacious, and makes both you and your fur baby feel comfortable and safe (my pup was happy as a clam in the lobby as I asked my questions) First impressions really do matter because it took all of 10 minutes before I decided to schedule and book my pup's spay. In addition their prices are super reasonable (and I've visited every vet within a 20 mile radius of this one over the past couple of months) I will follow up with another review once my pup has had her spay!

When we arrived for our scheduled appointment the front office seemed extremely overwhelmed. Not only did they not greet us, but they were rude. Like if us arriving was a bother. We weren't allowed to check in, they said we had to wait. We proceeded to sit down. 10 minutes passed by and although most of the people had cleared in the front, we still weren't acknowledged so we left. On our way home, they called and said we had missed our appointment. I explained we were there but weren't checked in. I'm sure dr Lee is great. I just hope he trains his staff to work better in a fast paced, high stress environment specially because it involves pets.

Although my dog had already received the appropriate vaccinations, he needed an updated rabies vaccination and an EU-compliant microchip. The staff at Orange Pet Clinic were kind and able to assist me with everything required. Since then, I have also brought my two other dogs in for routine visits as needed. I have consistently been helped within minutes of arriving. The wait times and overall visit lengths are typically short, and the cost is relatively low compared to other veterinary clinics I have visited in Orange County, depending on the services needed. Most recently, however, I visited the clinic with a client of mine whom I had referred due to a very poor experience she had with her previous veterinarian. During this visit, her pet was taken to a different room for the exam rather than being examined in the room we were placed in. We never met or spoke with the veterinarian. Staff instead assumed that my client's relative was the owner and communicated exclusively with her (over the phone). After the examination (which we were unaware had already happened), the technician came into our exam room stating that everything was fine, the bill had already been paid, and that we were all set. When my client and I tried to bring up our concerns and ask questions about her pet's apparent pain, the technician responded a bit dismissively, insisting the pet was not in pain. She didn't really seem to want to engage in any further discussion with us, despite the fact we didn't know anything pertaining to the vet's assessment. The appointment was extremely brief, and we left with more unanswered questions and concerns than when we arrived. While the technician was not overtly rude, her approach lacked tact and professionalism. Unfortunately, because of this latest experience, I'm no longer comfortable referring my clients to this pet clinic. I typically recommend businesses only when they consistently demonstrate strong customer service, quality care, and professionalism, and when I feel confident that those I refer will be treated with kindness and respect. Unfortunately, this experience fell short of those standards, and it was disappointing--and embarrassing--that the recommendation I made to my client did not reflect the level of care I expect.

The office manager is clearly burned out and the only one that seems to be genuinely happy and caring is the Assistant Manager. There are several issues leading up to the most recent but I will stick to the most relevant one. I brought my cat in on Friday (1/2/26) to see Dr. Gouda as she was not eating, vomiting, sleeping all day, and had peed once in 48 hours. She did a UA and X-ray and stated she was constipated. They gave her fluids, and an enema. My cat continued to decline through the weekend, she was still not eating, peed once, and was not drinking fluids on her own. I brought her back on Monday (1/5) to Dr. Louka. He seemed abrupt and stated her exam is fine and the labs he ran were fine. He gave her an appetite stimulant and said she is just stressed and to give it more time. To have a cat stop eating, barely pee and not drink for over a week to just be constipated and stressed was not acceptable. My cat went from playing and running around to listless and just curling up and sitting or hiding. I took her to another doctor for a second opinion. He was very concerned and referred her to emergency services. My beautiful cat passed away the next day in the hospital from SEVERE hypotension and shock from dehydration and severe pancreatitis. I am sickened and overwhelmed with grief knowing her passing could have been avoided.

I have a senior dog who will be 15 in a few days. I've never really had any terrible experiences with the staff or the doctor, until recently. My dog was treated for a uti that he may or may not have had, but based on the doctors quick visit with my dog, he prescribed him the medicine. I contacted him about a week or so after the medicine was complete to let him know my dog was still urinating on himself and I was concerned about pancreatic issues. He told me to come in and they would conduct a urinalysis. Perfect! That was complete and I was told I would get a call with the results the following 24 hours....that call never came. I reached out to the office about a week later asking for the results and was told, "it was negative." I asked for further information bc the symptoms my dog was exhibiting didn't make sense with the negative result. No explanation. Ok, fine. Even that didn't necessarily leave a bad taste in my mouth. A few days ago I walked into the office, in tears, asking to speak to the doctor as my dog has rapidly declined and was not doing well. As I am crying and visibly distraught, three of the staff ask me "well what's wrong...is it bloodwork that he needs?" I said, "no, I want to speak to the doctor, my dog is not doing well." They continued to ask, "what exactly is it" again, as I am visibly distraught. I told them I did not feel comfortable disclosing that information as I believed it was obvious as I continued to say my dog is not doing well and I wanted to speak to the doctor. I was then told to try to email the doctor and he was not available to speak to me. As upset as I was, I did email the doctor....guess what, I never received a call or an email back. I decided I would switch to a different vet as I am in need of guidance as my dog is not doing well. I contacted the office asking for my dogs medical records to which the staff told me they would email me. I did not receive the email. I then called the following day asking for the records and was told, "I have been meaning to call you, I don't think the email went through." Well, there was no way she was "meaning to call me" bc it was already noon and they like to drill into everyone's head that between 1230-3 they are in surgeries. So, really...they weren't actually going to call me back. Anyway, she resent the email with no attachments, amazing! Forget about having compassion, they can't even send a proper email! I called, for the third time, and this time I was angry and said I needed the email as soon as possible, this was absolutely absurd. The staff then proceeded to explain that she had a full lobby of people and she would send it later, to which I cut her off and told her to not explain further, I just needed her to do her job...send the damn email, it takes two seconds and if they would have done it correctly the first time, we would not have to go back and forth on the phone. Given all of these things, I have yet to receive a simple call from the doctor himself. I would have never thought in a million years that people who work with animals would treat pet owners like this...absolutely insane. No compassion, no brain cells either. Please save yourself the money, bc this place is insanely priced, save yourself the terrible staff interactions, and find yourself and your pet a different clinic.
