When…read morehis workers were building the steps I noticed they were extremely narrow in length but we agreed on wide which was the main reason I was rebuilding. I had to measure them myself and show that the length was not what was written in the contract. His response was that there were changes that had to be made. I heard him on my ring camera telling his workers the measurements were incorrect and was trying to extend the cap to make the step look longer in length (video retained). I insisted that it should be the correct measurement stated in the contract. So they had to knock down what they built. The final product is uneven. When the railing company came they showed me that the railings look uneven because of how different each step is. They measured and showed me how each step was a different length and steps are shifted to the left. I've been contacting John (owner) and he says is he will come but he never shows. I've been texting him since November it's almost January. I sent him screen shots from the railing company and pictures of the steps . When he was initially trying to get the job he was so nice and readily available. He sounded like he actually knew what he was doing. What the contract says VS what he actually did doesn't match up. Never go by random positive reviews online and never pay someone in full before you check everything yourself . I made that mistake. Save yourself the stress and use a reputable company.

After a few outrageously expensive estimates from several companies and a few aggressive sales pitches I came across Concrete Chiropractor. The estimation process was simple as they asked me to take pictures and included a guide on how to do it. They followed up with a phone call and explained the process to me. They then sent me a DocuSign document (contract) and told me they would be in touch to schedule in a few weeks. When the crew showed up they again explained the process and in just a few hours everything was fixed perfectly and the price was fair. I reported Pave Master Paving to the Better Business Bureau for their disreputable and deceitful business practices. I also sued Pave Master Paving in NJ Superior Court and won a judgment for repayment of the deposit (copy of Order attached). Bobby, the owner of Pave Master Paving, in defiance of the order of the Court and in a rage on one of the few occasions he didn't hang up on me, promised that he will not return the deposit. According to the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, PaveMaster Paving, Inc. has been unlawfully operating without a state license since 3/31/2019, and therefore their offer to repair our driveway was in violation of the NJ Contractors Registration Act. Since discovering that Pave Master Paving has been illegally operating without a state license, the NJ Better Business Bureau has given them an F rating! So I will pursue the legal process to compel Pave Master Paving to repay the deposit. If you don't want to get tangled up in a mess like this, avoid this company!
