From the sales team to the installation, and customer service, everyone was helpful and responsive. The installation crew and foremen were knowledgeable and kept the team on schedule working into darkness. Clean up was amazing. No debris was left overnight or the next day. Nails were vacuumed, even attic spaces were vacuumed. I can not say enough about Minn!!!! When customer service is no longer valued, she exemplifies what it means to put the customer first. She answered all my questions (no matter how trivial) with respect and kindness. She was extremely responsive dispatching a team (prior to the installation) when I had a ice damming leak She kept us inform throughout the installation process. If I could give them 10 stars I would. GREAT JOB!!

Well after install on May 21,2026 i signed paperwork and the crew left. Upon a more thorough review with my girlfriend and our handyman several issues were noticed. There were small holes throughout the installation area. There is several places that the dimple board was not placed under the installation area or it moved but seems to be missing. So we called Patrick on May 22,2026 to explain our concerns and since it is warranted to get the work completed. Well he then directed us to another phone number of a person that does the repairs. Well this person has yet to give us a date for said repairs. It's been three weeks and busy or not setting up a date should not be this difficult. If you look at above pics why would they leave one vent original and the other vents capped in black vent looks crazy. What if the humidifier breaks or these holes enlarge. This would destroy my property down in basement and this was the reason we paid a lot of money to have this project completed. They don't seem to stand behind their product and their installation. I spent about three plus hours with Marvin/Program Manager as he filled me in on Waterproofing 101…read more It was very educational for me and taught me a lot of things I didn't know. Can I be a waterproof specialist? I doubt it but I am much more educated on the matter. Prices are very good and transparent at all levels. Proposals are easy to understand and no reading small print, because there are none. The owner Steve will match competitor pricing if lower than what Blue Umbrella offers. A crew of four came. Jose, foreman, did a great job! He was responsible and the crew were timely. Jose even helped me reinstall the dehumidifier to the new sump pump area. They took away all the garbage too! The crew had two large trucks and seemed to have everything down to a science. One truck replaces the other once all the dirt from the basement gets loaded. My job was finished in two days because I needed additional work but this was explained to me and I had agreed to the extra service and charge. Knowing in advance is a good thing! Steve, the owner, came out to meet the me on day one. It was nice of him to come out and meet his client. After having a conversation earlier in the week, I can say Steve is very feisty and passionate about his company. During the early stages, Marvin made sure to show me an additional footer ledge was needed and I wasn't charge for something made up. Everything overt! No surprises or hidden wallet breakers! At the end of the job, a customer appreciation care box came to my attention! This review will keep Blue Umbrella's five star record on track! Great to help local businesses! Everyone should have a Blue Umbrella to protect from nasty water leaks!

He brought out a small model to explain how a sump pump works, and how it relates to the home's original foundation drain, cement foundation slab, cinder blocks, etc. He was also patient with me as I asked MANY questions (especially straightening out the false information I received from the previous "hard sell" inspector from a different company). Now I want Luis to be here to provide better explanations for my plumbing, A/C, and other house repair issues! :) Thanks Blue Umbrella!

The crew came early on a Monday and were extremely hardworking and very polite. They seemed like a great team that really worked together. The job was finished in 2 days. We let the cement dry for a few weeks and noticed some cracking in the newly poured concrete. I called Jeffrey and he sent someone over to repair the cracks. A few weeks later some of the cracks re appeared so his guys came over and repaired them with a more flexible adhesive. It looks great, no more cracks and the pumps work well! We haven't had a drop of water in the basement since!! The value of the work was somewhat comparable to others, but they were able to remove old flooring and cabinets that were moldy! They also sealed wall cracks as well. I highly recommend this company.

I only write a review when someone does a terrible or terrific job. In this case it was American Eagle Waterproofing. They did an outstanding job installing their drain system around the entire 96 foot perimeter of her wet basement. For the estimate, Anthony (Papariello) walked and inspected the basement with me and as he did explained everything they would be doing - moving the washer/dryer/sink, dust covering basement items, cutting paneling for access to paneled walls, opening up the floor with electric hammers, digging below the footings, carrying all excavated material and paneling out to their dump truck, installing stone, drains, drilling weep holes, moving the existing sump pit, installing a new Zoeller sump pump, applying neutralizer and waffle board, and re-cementing the floor. We then went through the work and his literature item by item as he wrote a proposal detailing everything, including the terms and conditions and transferable lifetime warranty. I had 5 other waterproofing contractor proposals for the exact same work and Anthony's proposal checked every single box at a terrific price. Jeffry (Sandi) and his six-man crew came the following week to do the work. Jeffry again reviewed everything in detail and answered all my questions before beginning. I went down every so often to take photos and see how they were doing. I could not believe how labor intense the work was and the impeccable work ethic of his crew. They did a beautiful job and left the basement spotless and broom clean. Bottom line, the photos speak for the outstanding work from start to finish. Incrdible.
