Since my banking needs are changing, I sought information on whether my accounts would be impacted. Instead of calling the bank, I stopped in. After a short wait, I met with Justin Preston, a relationship banking consultant. He looked over my accounts and explained in no uncertain terms that there is nothing for me to worry about. He spent time explaining how fees are assessed and how my accounts are structured. I found Mr. Preston to be very personable and knowledgeable and his friendly demeanor and customer-centric attitude really made me feel like there is nothing to worry about.

When I got there, it was pretty quiet. When I asked one of the tellers, she helped me set up my appointment with the Business Banking Specialist. I was able to see him the same day even though he sees clients at other branches. During my appointment, Robert was very nice and helpful. He walked me through everything I needed to know. The whole set up took about 20 minutes and I left with enough information to get me started. So far I'm impressed with the customer service. Hopefully it stays this way!

The teller Nancy seemed a bit flustered, initially would not let me cash my check and told me close the account first. I insisted I wanted the cash out and would then close the account with a personal banker. She then asked me for a debit card pin despite the fact I had a check and a drivers license already out because it would be easier for her to look up the account. On principle I don't give out any private information I am not required to. Eventually she gave me the cash, in a disordered fashion, and told me to come back another day to close the account. I said, I'm going to do this today. Five minutes later I am just a former customer. As a former bank teller, I largely think that tellers are unnecessary (ATMs and online access can do pretty much everything) unless they are excellent at their job. This Chase just seemed okay.

Since Wells Fargo acquired Wachovia after a government-forced sale to avoid a failure of Wachovia. My accounts were merged just last month. so I have plenty of new places to get service from the banks. I'm getting used to changing since Bank Florida was sold to First union and first union was sold to Wachovia. I still need to go back and find out what all the new services and of course fees will be. I hope this is a change for the better.

One, it is sometimes difficult to navigate; when you are coming up northbound on Mayfair Road, you have to make a left turn at Center Street and then make another left turn into the lot. Problem is, during drive times, its hard to make that left turn into the lot, due to inconsiderate folks behind the wheel, waiting in line eastbound on Center street to get through the intersection at Mayfair Road; otherwise, I guess you can take a chance and make a U-turn and then enter from Mayfair Road. Another gripe I have at this location is that there is only one ATM and it is a driveup kiosk, outside. It is not under an overhang or canopy, so you are exposed to the weather. Nope, there is not one ATM inside this bank.

Even worse they used my account and routing number to do this fraudulent transaction causing my accounts to be closed and all my money to be frozen. This bank is a bunch of scammers and thieves
