I've been to a handful chiropractors in my time here living in Los Angeles, and I have to say it's been a mission finding one that I feel comfortable with. One with a professional looking office and modern equipment has proven to be a task. I spoke with my parents and other family members who live in Visalia and surrounding areas about my concerns, and they recommended that I come up and try out this place. They spoke very highly of the practice and said they love coming here. I listened to their recommendation and came up for a short two day visit to Visalia to go in for an appointment. I went in having a pinched nerve in my upper back that I've had for years, a lingering foot arch problem, and very tight hamstrings (among other small ailments of mine). Dr. Lee Horine was very explicit in describing how/where/& why my issues were happening. I was very impressed with his ability to explain things without being overwhelming. Ended up going in two days in a row for two alignments and 2 weeks later... VOILÀ! No more pinched nerve, hamstrings are back to normal, and my foot has never felt better. I was completely out of commission from doing deadlifts and other various back workouts, because my nerve was getting very painful. Now I'm doing deadlifts and everything else with no pain at all! My weight lifting and other physical activities have no more excuses, and I am operating at 100% again. All I have to say is that there is no practice that is more professional, kind, and efficient than Horine Chiropractic. The equipment was definitely the most modern I have experienced, which was a nice change of pace and definitely aided my recovery. I feel fantastic and highly recommend this practice. Even though it's a three-hour drive to Visalia from Los Angeles, it is WELL worth it to keep coming back to this place. I'll be coming here for a long time. I woke up one morning after a tough 13 hour shift at the hospital, I'm an RN, and I was unable to move my left arm away from my body hardly at all due to intense pain in my shoulder. The pain was off the charts. I was really concerned that I was going to be out of work for weeks because I simply couldn't move my left arm without excruciating pain. I went to see Dr. Horine and he suggested some therapies that they offer. 3 different ones. One involved a cold laser, another called rapid release (I think) and a decompression therapy that was awesome. I did 6 therapy sessions in 3 days because I wanted help. I did not want to think about weeks on disability. My Dr. just wanted to give me Norco and told me if it didn't get better I might need surgery. Sparring the sordid details of it all, 2 days later I went to work at the hospital for 3 straight 12 hour shifts without any discomfort at all. I went back after those 3 days for a bit of follow up treatments, but I probably didn't need to. I seriously could not believe it. My shoulder didn't bother me at all. No one could have convinced me that I would have a tolerable level of pain in three days, let alone go back to work at a rather physical job. I want to thank Dr. Horine for helping me out. The strangest thing for me was when he told me that the pain that was in my shoulder was caused by a problem in my neck. I thought his diagnosis was off because my shoulder had my complete attention with even the slightest movement. He was right though. I think the decompression therapy did most of the work, but it all felt great. Hard to say, but I've been back at work for a month now without any pain at all. I injured my back while working out and within 3 days I couldn't walk without excruciating pain. I called Dr. Horine's office and they got me in immediately. They diagnosed me with a bulging disc and started treatment that day. I returned to work after 2 days and was back in the gym in 3 weeks. They are extremely caring and I never had any trouble getting in for an appointment. When I "graduated", I asked if I should come in just to make sure I stayed on track and was told it wasn't necessary. Many doctors would've been happy to continue taking my money, but they are very honest and didn't recommend treatment that I didn't need. The Bible says that happiness is like healing so before you even get started, the healing takes place from the wonderful staff that they have then you get with the doctors and then they give you a lot of love you can't beat this. I have been going to Horine chiropractic for years. Dr. Horine is so knowledgeable and friendly. He gets to know you and makes you feel like a friend. Dr. Horine's " protege" Blake is a great Dr. already and learning well from him. All his staff is always friendly and welcoming. His front desk staff is amazing and friendly calling you by first name as you walk in making you feel welcome and important. All the doctors at Horine are great. I was able to get a same day appointment when my back went into spasm that morning. I could not stand or walk upright, at the very best 45 degree angle. The doctors were very sympathetic toward my condition and treated the problem right away. About 30 minutes later I walked out the door (upright!) with instructions on what to do over the three day weekend to help heal my back. I've had several check up/minor adjustment appointments over the past two weeks and today I was finally released with a clean bill of health. I highly recommend this place! read more

The doctor and the staff are highly professional .They get to the job at hand. It's not like some places where you have an appointment at 3:00 and get in there at 4:00, all my appointments have been met with fast courteous service, if my appointment is there at 3:30 I get in at 3:30, I finally find this most refreshing in this day and age when a 1:00 appointment means get out at 3:00 and the holy is gone. I have struggled with severe neck pain most of my life and I have seen several chiropractors. Most of them have been able to alleviate the pain temporarily, however, I never received an answer as to why it never got better.
