I just had to write a review for Back on Track. My husband…read morehas been a patient of Back on Track for as many years as I can remember to treat a variety of long-term ailments. On July 6th I sustained a pretty severe concussion. After mentioning this to Back on Track through casual conversation, my husband raced to the phone to tell me there may be some help for me. I was discouraged, suffering from constant headaches, light sensitivity, loss of balance, confusion, inability to multi-task, decreased ability to effectively communicate, extreme fatigue, dizziness, light headed, I am sure I am missing a couple of symptoms but you get the point. The hardest part of all of this is how it has affected me socially. It is hard to believe that a concussion can change the way you feel and how you interact around others. I have realized how much brain power is required to do the little things like listening to more than one conversation at a time or typing while speaking on the phone. I started to see Dr. Ashleah Linden (chiropractor) right away. Not only has Ashleah taken the time to listen, she has made herself available by phone and email as required. This is September 17th, I have been seeing Ashleah about once a week since my injury. She has provided me not only Chriropractic services but also helped me regain my confidence. Most of my symptoms have alleviated significantly since going to Back on Track, some will only heal with time. I have started to socialize again and this past weekend was the first time I have laughed and felt good around people in a long time. Thank you Kelly Blackman for getting me in as soon as you heard. I am starting to feel more like myself, you have both changed my life as I know it today and I thank you from the bottom of my heart! Although I have months of healing to go I am on my way to recovery. If anyone you know is suffering from concussion like symptoms, please take it seriously. Don't just relax and rest and hope for it to go away, it can get worse. I strongly recommend Back on track as your first stop after seeing your family doctor. By the way, I am still waiting to see a concussion specialist but while I wait I am healing.

From the time you enter into the office your are greeted and taken care of by two wonderful ladies, Leanne and Ellen. Both are very knowledgeable and eager to help with all appointments and concerns. Personal I love the ability to go downstairs and have a massage by Matthew, then go back upstairs and finish my visit with my Chiropractor Dr. Mark, his skills and patience to ensure all your concerns are addressed and worked on. When life happens and you need extra visits, they always manage to get you in promptly and help with the issue. I appreciate the care I am given here and hope to continue for many years. My…read morefirst visit was about 9 years ago to help me figure out the right running shoe and orthotic combination to help get someone with 2 protruding discs in their back and who was never a runner through their first ironman. It worked and 9 years later I still recommend SoleFit to anyone from the Ottawa area that think they may benefit or want to learn more about orthotic. My recent visit was to help me figure out why my calf muscle had partially atrophied at some point in the last 3 years and how to help regain an unexplained loss of flexibility in the same ankle. After a detailed history since the last visit with Ryan and an examination of my mobility, Ryan provided an extremely educational explanation of the intricate biomechanics of the muscles, tendons and ligaments in the foot and the interrelation with the nervous system and why it is so important to follow a holistic program to recover and maintain mobility. Ryan demonstrated different strategies that I can use at home in concert with various therapies (flossing, ART, massage, stretching) and then performed and amazing treatment on my ankle. Two minutes later I could feel a stretch in my atrophied calf for the first time in at least 5 years. I am so thankful to SoleFit for this tremendous service.
