I actually had a total of 3 companies bid the job and The Last Roof happened to be the lowest of the three. The Last Roof gave me estimates for three different brands of roofing and I was able to choose the color according to what the brand offered. I feel like I was assisted in making the right choice for me. My home is two stories with 5 gables and it also had to add 3 exhaust vents for the bathrooms and laundry that had not been vented properly when my house was built in 2005. Carlos and his team cleaned up after themselves each day. Besides Carlos communicating with me, Cassandra in the office checked in with me to see if I had any concerns after the first day and on the last day. During the inspection, it was clear the roof needed to be replaced. Our real estate agent referred us to a roofer he knew, but I wanted a second opinion. After reading reviews on Yelp, I decided to reach out to Moon Roofing. From my first call, the experience was impressive. Ariana answered the phone right away. I explained our situation and the urgency, and she promised to follow up within a couple of hours. Less than an hour later, she let me know that Armando would be stopping by that evening to inspect the roof, and that I'd have a quote the next day. Sure enough, the quote arrived early the next morning. The roofer referred by our agent also came out and provided a quote. Both companies quoted the same product (IKO Dynasty), and their prices were competitive with each other. After we closed in June, we asked both companies to re-quote the project using a higher-end material--Malarkey Windsor architectural shingles. Moon Roofing's updated quote was less than the other roofer's updated quote. The Malarkey shingles were special order and had about a two-week lead time. Armando managed to get the product in and installed just under that timeframe. He also replaced sixteen sheets of plywood and installed a new skylight, all for a very reasonable additional cost. We are thrilled with the final result and so glad we chose Moon Roofing. The quality, service, and value exceeded our expectations.

Wow, it's really amazing how bad a contractor can be. What should have been a simple siding job has…read moreturned into a yearlong ordeal with neither HP Lion or Lowes accepting responsibility for the poor job they have done and which they claim meets their satisfaction. Additionally, I've not been able to find any certification listing from James Hardie with their informaiton so I'm suspect about the warranty on my product. The original work left with very poor trim, many nails not being set in fully and both of my hose bibs unusable, which they did actually fix. I still have the plumbing for my outdoor sink unattached, an electrical box for the AC just dangling off the side of the house and a vent placed on the wall that doesn't attach to anything. They claim this is acceptable work from their end and won't even come back out to look a the damage they have left behind. I would not suggest anyone hire this company to hang a picture, much less attempt to do actual work on your investment.
