Came here in the mid afternoon for one of our last meals in Madrid, and it was a great find! We had no reservation and it was not needed as there were plenty of open tables. Bread and juicy sausages were served immediately on the house while we were ordering a main entree. We ended up getting a Colchinillo, a quarter of a pig served with soft sliced marinated potatoes on the side. This was extremely filling even for two people. I normally don't like potatoes, and my trip has already been full of filling potatoes, but the potatoes here were my favorite as it was full of meat flavor and herbs. The pork itself was also very juicy, soft, tender, falls off the bone easily. The skin offers a great contrast; crunchy but equally flavorful. read more
