First of all, one of our activities and I have proof of this somewhere, was cleaning the barn stalls. Which I was "forced" to make the kids do. Second, the rabbits do not get proper care whatsoever. They live in a small shed with no hay and only pellets. They have pine shavings (which are harmful to rabbits) and rarely get time to run around. I have begged animal control to do something but the only thing I can do now is use my words. Rabbit teeth never stop growing, that's why they need hay. I will continue to call animal control until I know things are taken care of. I will continue to tell people what I know about this situation as it is animal abuse. Third, the small animal room is a joke. Those animals also do not get exactly what they need. It is a tooth and nail fight because the owner Jeff is completely cheap. Fourth, From 2019- now, I have heard several counselors tell me that Jeff yells at the kids during lunch. Or explains how horrible all of the food their parents give them is. Fifth, Jeff and I got into several disagreement about the scheduling with activity's for the kids. It was the same thing every day and the kids began to get bored like children do. Kids don't want to do the same nerf gun war every single day. Upon arrival in the morning your children basically help feed the animals which is great and all but this really isn't teaching them what you think. Send your kid to camp at the Hunts Center, Active Tracos, or Lifetime in Cary. There, your child won't be limited by what they can bring and you won't be supporting this.

I've definitely been to a few that I thought were overpriced for what you get. I highly recommend this place. It's super affordable ($10 per child to start and cheaper when you are paying for more than one kid, better value overall to get a monthly membership which I believe starts at $34 a month). It pays for itself if you just come here 3x a month or more. They've also got little snacks for sale up at the front desk and you can purchase socks for $1 (they've got music notes on them haha). We arrived early around 9:20am when the inflatable bounce houses were still getting filled but the doors were open and the person at the front desk said it was unexpectedly busy this morning! The place gets pretty busy but emptied out around 11:30 when I assume most people left to go get lunch/put kids down for nap time. Tons of cute little snack tables and chairs for the smaller kiddos and bigger ones for waiting parents/grandparents/caretakers etc. Lots of sanitizer on every counter. They also had Kleenex boxes out (they know their audience) and Clorox wipes at the front desk. There's 2 big bounce houses (a blue one and a red one). The red one is more for jumping and running around in circles and the blue one has a rainbow "floor" interior that is super fun to run across. There are also 2 karaoke rooms with an expansive music selection, colorful overhead lights, and microphones which you ask for from the front desk. They've got the giant piano on the floor like the one from the movie 'Big'. They've got music classes which I believe take place in the back near the restrooms. Love the giant guitar slide and it makes guitar sounds when you slide down. I went down the slide as well and it goes super quick!! I was definitely more scared going down than climbing up haha. Oh and they provide a shelf of croc sandals to wear if you need to rescue your frightened child (I made use of them). I could really go on forever about how amazing this place is. The play area is open and spaced out with a nice variety of musical things to play with. Before coming, I really was curious if there'd be enough to keep the little one interested. Big or little, the kids will be interested! By musical things, think less handheld instruments and more installments for lack of a better word, such as the interactive world map where touching the musical note plays music of that geographic location. The percussion pots and pans and bells room was a big hit. My toddler wasn't ready for the big guitar slide, with climbing handholds and bars, but was able to enjoy everything else, including the small slide. I found it easy to carry my infant around and plop him on the floor from time to time with little worry. Some bigger kids run around but there are many side areas that are safer for the wee babes. There's music playing in the background and of course sounds coming from the many installments, and children shrieking. But overall, I didn't find the sound to be too loud or nauseating like it can be in some restaurants and such. There's plenty of space to enjoy snacks outside of the play area and clean bathrooms. The staff I checked in with were quite friendly. Oh and I really thought the price per child to be reasonable compared to most other indoor museums and play places. We will definitely be back!

They also all enjoyed holding the goats and feeding the chickens. The party was all-inclusive - pizza, horse cupcakes, personalized decorations, paper products, and favors. I loved the favors they created during the party - individual printed photos of each child on her horse in a beautiful frame - so sweet! The birthday girl received an extra photo on her horse with the entire party. We received a lot of compliments from parents on how unique the party was and how much they loved the framed photos. Jamie and John were so easy to work with and were so nice and patient with the girls during the party! I highly recommend Excel Kids Pony Parties!!!

Then, I usually go to the treadmill. Their treadmills are so advanced that you can watch TV on them while exercising. Next, I usually take a shower. A decent space to attend any performing arts show. I attended a play. The seating itself was extremely comfortable. I had a perfect view after others in front of me decided to swap out their seats. The staff working concessions seemed rude and unreasonable considering they've failed to keep up with the times and technology. For concessions purchases they only take your physical card. This is unreasonable. I recommend technology update to a CashApp, Venmo or tap option because not everyone is carrying cards around these days.

I do believe it now serves as housing for senior citizens, but it also has a really nice auditorium which is rented out for private and public events. The seats were comfy with plenty of legroom. They have a Refreshment Booth where everything is $1. I like that! This is a better description of the Auditorium from their website: The 471 seat Auditorium contains an expansive stage and backstage area, cushioned seating, fly space and rails, separate dressing rooms with restrooms, a green room and loading dock. For more intimate gatherings, the beautifully appointed front lobby, seating 60, and backstage lobby, seating 30, each provide a backdrop to celebrate a special occasion. A piano, podium, limited number of tables and folding chairs may be used for no additional charge. Facility may be reserved by contacting the Garner Performing Arts Center at 661-4602.

Brenda, the owner, is an incredibly warm and friendly person who does some wonderful things at her farm. The day we arrived for our trail ride Brenda greeted us, got us situated with gear and horses. Then she personally adjusted the saddles and stirrups to ensure the best fit. The farm has a number of volunteers who help guide the riders through the trails in the beautiful surrounding countryside. Our two volunteers were incredibly polite and thoughtful as they guided us through the ride. The horses were gentle and responsive. The entire experience was wonderful from start to finish. After we returned to the stables Brenda talked about the impact the horse therapy they do at the farm has had on participants. This has literally changed peoples lives. Outstanding place and people. We will absolutely be returning. Highly recommended.
