I am so glad that I was finally able to make it Crazy Glaze. The staff is friendly, and I think…read morethey have great pieces to choose from! For those who are not aware of what they offer, they have canvas paint classes you can sign up for (very similar to wine and design) private parties, or you can just come in and paint any one of the numerous pieces they offer. I'm sure I am missing something :) At the time I went, I was with my son. I am sure many can agree that doing anything with a young child can be difficult. This particular day, my child was being difficult so we ended up leaving without finishing our paintings. The ladies who work there were so helpful and nice with ensuring us that we will be able to come back and finish our paintings whenever we could. I think we ended up having to go back two separate times, so having that option is so nice! The overall process for painting a ceramic piece is pretty simple. The staff is very helpful with assisting you when it comes to deciding on colors to use, brainstorming text ideas to include, etc. The location is small, but there is plenty of room! I did get a little nervous when my son was walking around because the store is not child proof, but I think as long as you are an observant parent, there should not be any issues.

None of the tables were set up and we didn't even come in the morning. They didn't have much of a color choice or pottery selection. The brushes were really old, the bristles falling off and bent in every direction. You can't paint with frayed bristles. There were no large brushes, just really small ones. Everything there was really expensive too. $20 for a small piece. It wasn't even detailed. The chairs were ripped up and looked like a dog's 10 year old chew toy. They barely gave us any water to wash our brushes and no towel or sponge to get them dry.

So, I worked here and have been wanting to post this for a very long time…read more This camp is not somewhere I would send my child to. First of all, one of our activities and I have proof of this somewhere, was cleaning the barn stalls. Which I was "forced" to make the kids do. Second, the rabbits do not get proper care whatsoever. They live in a small shed with no hay and only pellets. They have pine shavings (which are harmful to rabbits) and rarely get time to run around. I have begged animal control to do something but the only thing I can do now is use my words. Rabbit teeth never stop growing, that's why they need hay. I will continue to call animal control until I know things are taken care of. I will continue to tell people what I know about this situation as it is animal abuse. Third, the small animal room is a joke. Those animals also do not get exactly what they need. It is a tooth and nail fight because the owner Jeff is completely cheap. Fourth, From 2019- now, I have heard several counselors tell me that Jeff yells at the kids during lunch. Or explains how horrible all of the food their parents give them is. Fifth, Jeff and I got into several disagreement about the scheduling with activity's for the kids. It was the same thing every day and the kids began to get bored like children do. Kids don't want to do the same nerf gun war every single day. Upon arrival in the morning your children basically help feed the animals which is great and all but this really isn't teaching them what you think. Send your kid to camp at the Hunts Center, Active Tracos, or Lifetime in Cary. There, your child won't be limited by what they can bring and you won't be supporting this.
