My mother and I stopped in for the night as we were to attend a wedding the next day. They greeted us when we arrived, showed us around and left us to our night. In the morning breakfast was cooked to order and when I say it was perfect, oh my! And I am the breakfast police lol! The place was very clean, quiet, well maintained and just decorated so very well!!! The couple that owned the place were perfect, nice, more than accommodating, sweet, warm and most of all competent-- they weren't overbearing. It was my first B&B stay, so I had my reservations of course but the BAR IS SET!!! If I'm ever in Palestine again, this is where you'll be able to find me & I really wish my family had just booked the entire B&B, that would have been SO spectacular!! Free breakfast was from 6-9am. Pet friendly. At the time of stay - $25 per pet per night - up to two dogs. They have a pool, but of course we didn't use it, it's December. Spaces were clean, that's all I ask for in a budget hotel.

Kudos to the owners, Jim & his wife (who live on site), for their vision. It's obvious they want to provide a quality establishment and I believe this will be accomplished in time. The weather was foul with all the rain, but spot #10 with full hook up was level with a good, hard base making it unnecessary for leveling jacks. It was literally park, hook up & relax. TGRR is a pet friendly place with a fenced in grassed area for off the leash running. The established rules for all pets provide considerate harmony between those who have pets and those of us who do not. The private bathrooms with shower are clean and have been nicely tiled. An industrial mat to step out on out of the shower and a hand dispenser at the sink for hand soap would be my only suggestion for consideration. After 12 hours on the road and a spontaneous decision, this was a great choice. We definitely appreciate the after hours check in and the owners' hospitality.

There is a small store that carry essentials so no need to drive to town if you just need basics. My son loved the indoor year round spa. There is also an indoor pool, which is not heated but we were able to swim during some pretty cool temps and months. There is a stocked pond, we enjoyed fishing many times. There is a banquet from available for private rental. It has a pool table which we really enjoyed when the weather was too cool to be outside. The laundry room is large, with many machines so you never have to wait to use them. Finally, the bathrooms are AMAZING- truly, the shower/restroom are overly generous in size, and offer full privacy. Real locking doors, not just shower curtains or stalls but real private and always clean and stocked With paper products. We stayed much longer than we had planned simply because we enjoyed everything about this park.

We stayed in a Fox Meadows guest home which was off the beaten path, by far, but that just added to its charm. Beautiful land with wildlife surrounded us. Our cozy guest home had a large bedroom (where my mom slept), bathroom, adorable kitchen stocked with everything including a huge basket of goodies for breakfast and a living room with a couch that had a fold out bed that me and my son slept on. The living room was decked out with Christmas tree and decorations. The fireplace in the living room was wonderful to have. There were many books and knicknacks for my son to explore and in the living room we had a tv with DVD and VHS player, along with a huge selection of DVDs and VHS. Their policy is that you can take a movie or book with you when you leave if you leave another one behind. There are trails to explore right out of the back door. The owners are a delight. I hope to have a chance to stay here again soon.
