Although they were so far away from me, I was worry-free. A3 is so clean and safe, and Melanie so responsive. My only regret: I knew that it would be unlikely I'd find such great storage and management again. Friends kept telling me horror stories about chain storage facilities which increase prices unexpectedly and repeatedly. And the ones I toured had poor security and/or were dirty. (Thank goodness I finally found another locally managed facility, though not quite up to A3's standard: Melanie spoiled me!) I am posting a few details of a resent negative experience with SouthPoint…read moreProperty Management at My Garage Storage,17968 FM 2493, Flint, TX 75762, managed by Teresa Harris owner of SouthPoint Property Management. Miss Harris is not to be trusted with your personal information on any type of contract or documents. If you are a current or past tenant at My Garages, check the shared documents feature on her SouthPoint website portal. Harris does not care enough about securing clients information, by double checking her entry, from ex-tenant removal, to setting up the new tenant accounts for the same unit numbers! Which is what happen in my situation dealing with Teresa Harris and her website portal. Harris is lacking detail oriented focus, while operating SouthPoint Property Man. AppFolio. Harris is getting confused to what contract goes on what unit and looses contract documents. Hence, causing a mass breach of personal data for the different companies Harris has been entrusted to manage. I have contracts on units 121, 122, 123, 116 for over a year. I was waiting for her to provide the lease document for 114 in May once the unit was made available and clean out. After numerous request Harris never posted a copy of my current unit 116 contract to the web portal or informed me of where my documents were posted and exposed on her website. After I informed her of the breach of documents on my account, she did remove the previous tenants personal contract, and posted one of my contracts of the combined lease for 121 - 123, a 60 Ft x 50 foot space of 3000 sq. Ft.. To date, Harris, "Has Not" posted a lease contract for 116 or my new added lease for unit 114 in May of 2024. Harris and myself have exchange many text messages and my attempt to give My Garages more lease income has resulted in a extreamly negative experience for me, while dealing with Teresa Harris and her unprofessional and intolerable behavior. After getting to know Harris better over my first year leasing at this property, I can not understand why a group of investors would entrust their property to a women that acts like some kind of mob boss or a type of slum lord manager! Harris seems to be unsupervised by the corporation and this could be why Harris feels free to act out behaviors and unprofessional use of authority towards her employers tenants. This is what I have experience, sense she decided I am not worthy to lease 114 in addition to my other 4 units. It is apparent Harris does not want Tenants to expect any simply services or to expect her to prepare paper work properly and quickly. Harris prefers you just pay the rent and be invisable to her! Except when the water bill doesn't get paid, and then she publically blames the owners in a mass text, that they forgot to pay the bill! Harris expects all tenates to be supportive to her, while she gets it turned back on. Harris does not care about wasting tenates time, by being unmotivated to lease and maintence My Garages property. Harris has no respect or desire to support the tenants. Miss Harris has a pattern in her behavior that once she feels you have annoyed her, she will use her power to dominate and bully you out of your leases or speak badly of you to other tenant's. Harris was annoyed by me and decided to reject my lease for 114 and demanded I give her the key back as she justified not providing the paper working. Harris texted me, that she leased that unit to a man that will take it as is, and she did not want me to have that unit. Harris knew it was my 1st choice sense it was next door to my unit 116. Harris acted out her revengful authority and ordered me that I had to stay in unit 116. I spent several days going back and forth through texts messaging with Harris, only to experience more of how arrogant and unprofessional Harris can be. Harris turned a simple lease agreement into a nightmare and a huge waste of time. Simply, Harris was acting out a power play to attempt to flex her authority over myself, so she could make the point; that I needed to realize that she controls everything and every person on this property and that she operates by her own rules! Her behavior is to the point of discrimination! Harris does not practice the business mantra of;"take care of the customers you have" and they will provide the customers you need in the future! Harris now has taken her revenge to a serious and damaging new level of attack. Harris has posted on my door at unit 121 on May 31, at 7:30 PM, a non-renewal of my current 4 thousand Sq. Ft of leased space at My Garages in Flint TX. She has ordered me to pack up 4 k sq. Ft. Of inventory and furniture by the end of June. Harris is pushing me out of My Garages, because I have exposed her negelgence and her crude managerial business practices. There is no other reason that justifies this huge insult to my companies buisness leases at My Garages in Flint Texas.

We've only been in this storage unit for 2 months and there have been tons of break ins. There are…read moreno security cameras and no one present to talk to or watch over the lot. Customer service is all over the phone and in other states, so no one really cares. We showed up to our storage unit to grab some items and the unit next to us was open and the wall was kicked down, leaning into our unit making it also accessible to get into ours. We called customer service to let them know and they weren't concerned. We said we would have to get our things out of storage if it wasn't going to be fixed and they said " well if you get it out before august you won't be charged" do not use this storage unless you want to constantly worry whether you're unit is safe.
