What the website depicts the grounds to look like, location of rooms and housekeeping/maintenance keep tidy are down right wrong. The website makes it appear that the hotel rooms/buildings are near each other. False. Upon check-in we learned that our party of 11, was going to be separated. We asked if the 2 rooms were close to each other, she replied "oh yea just about a mile away." WHAT? A mile?!? I have literally have to get in our car and drive to their section of resort. The main hub where the welcome center, activity center, golf course, tennis court, basketball court, playground, pool (with separate zero entry for kiddos) and some multi story lodges are on a completely separate road then the remaining areas. The activity center has two pool tables ($1 in quarters to play), quarter machines, small arcade, giant checkers, giant chess, ping pong, game checkouts, blue bell ice cream, cold candy bars, cold drinks, subway and movies. The indoor waterpark is $24.95 for all day, opening to close (9pm) or $21.95 for evening hours. There is a huge area for little kiddos and 3 small slides for little ones. There is a lazy river with tubes, small wave pool, two slides with tubes and two body slides. We spent ALL day here and enjoyed every last part. I recommend sitting in the back of waterpark where they open the screen doors and it feels so cool with the breeze. Inside the check in area to pay for waterpark there is a SubWay and a pizza place. Both are good. The pool next to the waterpark is packed. Locals come here and take over. It was annoying, they had a loud portable speaker and literally acted like it was THEIR personal pool. The bathrooms here are DISGUSTING! Make sure you wear shoes at all times. The Beach Club, is on a completely different road. You literally have to get in your car and drive to it. These are tall multi story white beautiful buildings. The pool has a splash pad, zero entry pool and then a attached pool. Also at this pool area is a basketball court, tennis court, playground, volleyball area in sand and "beach" access. The bathrooms here are DISGUSTING! Then there is Lakeside. This is directly next to Beach Club & we stayed here. It's gated but the gate never worked the whole week we stayed here. It's a cabin in the woods. We were in cabin 113. It was cute. The cabin has stairs to the front porch with table/chairs and huge massive wasps and giant giant spider webs. Upon entry you have a living room with fireplace, dining room table and kitchen. There were millipedes all over the floor and cobwebs on every piece of wood furniture. It has two rooms, the master on the right and a 2nd on left. Inside this master I was greeted to about 4 huge ants and 5 millipedes. Master has a huge jacuzzi tub and spare has the shower. Within 3 days I woke up with different bugs INSIDE my bed. A spider, ant and an unknown identity bug. Gross. The jacuzzi takes 35 minutes to fill up 2 inches. When jets are on ants came out and the water blasts the mirrors. Beds had dirty sheets. We called and complained and never got clean sheets. The shower is meant for people 5'5" or shorter. I am 5'8" and my head went over the shower head. I had to squat to wash my head, nothing like doing squats so early in the morning. Throughout the week we encountered several bugs, insects and arachnids. I understand we're in the country/wilderness but bug control is highly needed and maintained. Every morning I saw ants and millipedes coming from under the baseboards and under the beds. I ALWAYS walked around with flip flops on. The pool in this area is TINY. Next, the Presidential Club at the Marina. This was even further down the road from the Beach Club and Lakeside Inn. Literally at the end of the road. Talk about beautiful and spacious! My family who was staying here also encountered bugs. They were in a 2 bedroom condo. It had a full kitchen, dining room table, couch set, table, fireplace, full washer/dryer, jacuzzi tub, shower, toilet, king sized bed and a whole separate unit with attaching door that has a bed, kitchenette and bathroom. Now, even though it's gorgeous... I heard they didn't have kitchenware. The scenery was beautiful it was right on the marina - talk about gorgeous! Parking can be a nightmare. There weren't enough spots for the resort. There is no pool here. Occasionally, while in the pools, every few hours a Holiday Inn employee dressed in a red shirt, black pants blew a whistle and said "pool check" - meaning you vacate the pool and show your room key. This flushed out the pool with the non guests and just locals. This is literally all they did. Easiest job in the world. Noodles, life vests, rafts, water guns and tubes are allowed in the pool.

Had to use a total of 20 leveler blocks to get the back end of our 25' RV level. There are a few level spots, but you can't tell from the website. Quite misleading. We'll go back but only if we can get into one of the few level spots we found.
