Horror Stories Of The E.R. !!!! My Mother was hurting…read moreseverely in her abdominal area. Abbeville E.R. was the closest hospital. The receptionist was great. We were rushed back immediately. Things took a turn for the worst after that. Our nurse was named Erin but a woman named Shannon B. kept popping her head in. When receiving pain medication, she was very rude, making my Mother, who was in so much pain more agitated and nervous. She told my Mother pain meds weren't going to help. She told my Mother that no hospital would admit her. I was told that Shannon B. was very aggressive and has fought patients by a nurse who also worked there. Really?!? I would expect an E.R. nurse to expect people to be anxious and deal with a patient and their loved ones more professionally and patiently. I had my Mother transferred to AnMed E.R. She is now in the hospital after an emergency surgery. If I had stayed, my Mother injuries could have been far worse or she might have died!!! After speaking to several people, they have all reported problems with this hospital. One lady was having a stroke and now has no movement on her left side due to the negligence of this hospital, releasing her with pain medication. I do not recommend this hospital or the staff. Please go somewhere else unless it's a minor injury. Your loved ones life or yours may depend on it. I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS HOSPITAL AGAIN!!! This is very sad to say but I would rather die at home than receive treatment from this "hospital". This is my honest review. Go at your own risk!!!!

So I do that and go through the whole paperwork process, now 2 hours past my appointment, I get my blood drawn with a finger poke. I was ignored by the staff when I was asking questions. So after two hours of doing paperwork, I then have to do this 75 question screening. I was discriminated against because I am a recovering addict, the medicines I take, and the fact I had seizures before that I truthfully answered in the 75 questions. So if you want to get paid and to donate, you have to lie on everything. The physical examination literally was just to tell me I have to get off all my meds to be able to donate. I was then basically kicked out because of my health conditions that after researching are not disqualifying factors. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! Demand your information to be removed if turned down. I will be making sure this place goes Viral for violating every patient rights law known.
