At least three of the times I left my two dogs at home and Cleveland Helping Hands took care of them. This was a much better experience for my pets. One time they had to be picked up at the vet and then taken to my home. Medicine and care instructions were given by the vet for the pets and they were taken care of without any problems. My dogs get excited when they see Donna (the one who has taken care of my pets) come. When I would come back home, whether I left the dogs or not, my instructions have always been followed and everything was always found in perfect order. I will continue to use this service. They also have a Handyman Service that I have used several times for plumbing work under the house, an electrical problem I had with a breaker, and hanging cornice boards in my kitchen. This past Christmas, the handyman also helped with decorations outside the house. I highly recommend this company. Oh, I almost forgot...I also used the company for some photo editing that I needed done. The finished picture became the front of my Christmas card.

I've arranged in home care through a different organization. Stay away from these folks. I think they just want to sign people up for the Medicare $$$$.

This business has grown very much since I started, and we have grown with new clients. Then management called with intrusive personal questions that was none of their business. They had faulty information about me. The issue of concern to them was plainly stated in the documents and should have been settled when I signed the contract for care. The next request for transportation was a "no show" with no notice They completely let me down. I had to cancel my doctor's appointment with one hours notice. I put in another request for transportation and never heard back from scheduling. When I called to ask about my reservation they said they had a driver for me but had not got around to calling me. That was it! I cancelled the reservation and asked for my deposit back. I don't know what their game is but I have not received my deposit nor any sort of a followup from management. I could not trust them and believe they were going to "no show" until I stopped calling. You be the judge. There are many other providers in Crossville with more flexiblity and less costly service.

Up til now, mom hasn't been interested in having anyone "in her house", yet she couldn't do it all herself anymore. Lois selected a caregiver to match our needs, Carla (my hero). We've had two visits. Carla has vaccumed, cleaned out the frig, and cooked. Here are some direct quotes from my mom today (7/30/2014)... - she cooked some of the best salmon I ever put in my mouth - she made it fun rather than an ordeal (cleaning out frig) - I'm extremely pleased, super job, pleasantly surprised - she took control, went in there and did it and did it well - we were kidding each other, enjoying ourselves Carla lives close to the town grocery, and said another thing she can do is shop for groceries before heading to mom and dad's house. She keeps her eyes open and notices areas she can help in, plus, is open to any ideas I want to text her. Lois is a marvelous blend of professionalism and, what do you call it? "Down-home neighborliness". When you meet her, you feel like you've known her all your life, and you can tell her anything. She really knew how to talk to my mom. Lois "gets it" regarding dementia patients; she's a retired geriatric nurse. Right now Carla is coming one day a week, for four hours each visit. The cost is $19/hr. As mom and dad need more help, we can increase the hours and expand the tasks.
