They have a capacity of up to just shy of 200 people, easy layout, friendly staff and seem super accommodating - With a huge fridge for storing food, large stage, nice acoustics, speaker system, lighting, restrooms and lots of space. It definitely always feels smaller from the outside on the corner of Kester Avenue and Camarillo, but you'll be surprised. And being inside of a neighborhood makes parking for guests/attendees really tricky for a big gathering, but not impossible. They do have a parking lot next to the Banquet Hall and it can hold a good number of cars I feel like it's around 30 or so comfortable factoring in if everyone is leaving around the same time and that the majority of parking spots are facing one direction. Their prices vary depending on dates as well as the number of guest. Being such a small private venue with limited advertising or media I'd like to see them do as well as they were doing before 2020. You can spot their numbers on their banners when passing by (Hall for Rent) and pretty much call anytime of day.

We chose to have it at Bexx and it turned out perfectly. The whole team was delightful. The food was made there, completely fresh, healthy and beautifully presented. I wanted this day to be amazing and memorable. Bexx and team exceeded expectations. Late delivery + communication issues, but the delivery crew was great…read more I used Rental Avenue for furniture rentals for an event and spent around $7,000. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly stressful due to logistics and communication. The delivery showed up about 6 hours late, which completely threw off our setup timeline. Because they were so behind, I ended up having to stay at the property until 10:00 PM just to get everything placed and ready. To make matters worse, communication with the office was really difficult -- at one point, we had to have the delivery guys call the office repeatedly just to get someone on the phone and get direction/answers. That should never be on the customer (or the crew) to chase down. I'll say this: the delivery guys were honestly great. They were professional, kind, and clearly doing their best under the circumstances. We also ran into an issue with the table/chair heights. I ordered tall chairs, but I had selected shorter cocktail tables. They did help fix the issue, which I appreciate -- but the way it was handled made me feel like I was being scolded for it. When you're spending thousands and already dealing with a massively late delivery, the last thing you need is attitude. A simple "no worries, we'll get it sorted" would have gone a long way. Overall: great delivery crew, but the late delivery, hard-to-reach office, and the tone when resolving the setup issue made this a frustrating experience. I really wanted this to be a smooth, professional rental process, but it wasn't. I would not recommend.

I dragged 4 kids here (half hour drive) to catch someone to help me book a birthday and they say they're in the middle of the class and closed the door on my face. Not closed- slammer. We put on our aprons, washed our hands, and quickly got seated to begin our group lesson on knife sharpening and vegetable chopping. What I thought was really neat was that Chef Liz had a mirror on the ceiling to provide an aerial view of what she was doing at her station! The menu was great. This particular character was Terrence Howard, who was a hip-hop Mogul in the story so the hip-hop vibe that is very much alive in pontia work was perfect. I can't say enough about his business Art Rebel because it is from adult fun to kids but extremely unique compared to a typical art business for corporations or birthday parties as it has an edge to it and is very hip and unique in the style that they present to the customer in Art Rebel!
