Try to find a good barber shop that is open on a Sunday. I dare you. There were probably three of them in the valley if I remember right and they are all booked up and when you call they will say that they are not taking anyone in on a Sunday because of all the people booked for Sunday which was made a day prior. I am getting married and the time was ticking, the newer the hair cut, the fresher it is the better for the occasion and all those pictures your honey wants to take. Ask my woman to find me a place to get a hair cut she will tell you "Great Clips." Yeah... Ask your White friends and they will say "Fantastic Sams." They got that straw hair golden color with that thin spaghetti hair and they think they know colored peoples' hair. Get out of here! Yeah... So yeah this is open on a Sunday morning. I had Jesus cut my hair. He don't usually cut hair on a Sunday and don't work on a Sunday. Ahh the stars aligned for me that Sunday. Place looks like your typical old-fashioned barber shop and the smell sure don't smell like that "Paul Mitchell" that you were accustomed to "Supercuts" in the 90s. It smelled like lots of hair grease, the oils of the clippers. I was a mess that Covidf19 I grew out my hair looking like a dirty q-tip and a black mop. I mean my hair had all the split ends and was about to stick and tangle like a a Rastafarian. I wanted a hair that can look smooth, slick, a hair cut of a Rico Suavicito. I think Jesus and I hit this out of the ball park. It was 30.00 cash but, you know they got to pay their rent. I gave him a 20.00 tip cash. Jesus hooked it up. Jesus, pin was of frankenstein, the hat hmmm not your normal hat. We will put it at that. He didn't say much and he just trimmed like Edward Scissor hands. He is cool. I was looking for a haircut place. They had great reviews. I went In. They were a little busy. The place was clean and neat. I waited only about 15 mins. I didn't have an appointment. Octavio said I got you. I want a full shave straight razor. He does an amazing job. I had no razor burns or cuts. He is very gentle and not many people know how to use a straight razor. This spot is up the street from my house pretty convenient but does have a long asf waiting time and the barbers really don't communicate nor do they care about walk ins. They close at 6 and I called at 4:50 to see if I could come in but the guy who answered said they took there last cut at 5pm didn't argue just was like uhhm ok. The only guy that's us good customers service is the kat all the way in the back on the right side I forget his name but he cut me up a few times and does a great job and is super chill so if you have time and don't mind being ignored then come to this shop. read more

Came here for a hair cut for my kids and to all the barber shops I been to I can say this was the worst, unprofessional they don't communicate and unorganized. I spend 2 hours here and only was able to get 1 of my kids hair cut. I understand appointments first, since I was a walk-in but when they where finished with cutting someone hair the barbers will walk out and smoke or go to the back instead of getting clients in and out. I rather pay 40 for a kids hair cut and get the best service then come here again. I do not recommend specially if you have kids. read more

I've been getting my hair cut here for a few years now,usually Jose the shop owner is the one who takes care of me.I let Jose know how I want my hair and he is usually spot on.Sometimes I may want a little more off the top or off the sides depending on the season.He does good work and so do most of the other guys there.Remember to let the barber know exactly what you want when you get a hair cut.They do things old school,They use the razor to line up the back,the sides,and front of you do.Or if you only like your hair lined up with clippers they do it also. I've been here 2 times once right before the pandemic and during have to say both times I've been there I got great service dont remember there names but they know how to cut its a affordable price at 20$ bucks for the haircut and more to choose from to get your beard, eyebrows which I did for an extra 5$ and damn do they have good haircuts I always ask for a midfade and always got what I wanted they never let a single detail out they take there time with the work which I do appreciate if your in a rush I would come here for a set schedule and on top of everything that's why my review adds up to 5 stars really good price, service, and time for your money read more

Yes there is an ample amount of skilled barbers, however along with skills also comes large egos and high demand. These guys are real pros that know what the fuck they're doing. I've been coming here steady for the past 2 years and Gerardo and Jose are the best. They take appointments and walk ins but don't be surprised if you have to wait a little while if you're walking in without an appointment. This isn't your mama's beauty salon, this is a real barber shop with political topics, cussing, sports on TV and an occasional hip hop joint bumpin while you're getting faded up. I used to love going to this place it was down the street and Randy was my barber here never had any issues. That is, up until I went one day and asked the guy with glasses where he was. All he says is that he's retired and doesn't work there anymore, when I asked him what he was up to now he ignored me and asked if I wanted a cut from him. Ever since Randy has been gone this place hasn't been the same. No idea why they let go of Mr Consistency. I went in expecting to get a cut from Randy and he wasn't there. Asked the guy in the glasses and said he no longer works here he's retired, and he could cut my hair. I sat down, but he had to go get high first. After realizing what he was doing, I took the cape off and left. I eventually found Randy at Canyon Falls Spa on Tenaya and Lake Mead, and all that let me know is that they weren't being honest.
