So my ordeal was I had to spend a bunch of money getting dolled up for part of an interview process which ended up not working out but that's a story for another time....and probably won't be posted on Yelp anyway. But back to the subject. I decided a fresh cut would be the way to go and since Henry Barber Shop has been in the area almost as long as I've been on this side of town, I figured "why not?" In the end, it was money well spent. The vibe was very chill. Everyone I encountered was courteous, professional and I ended up getting exactly what I asked for with time to spare in my day. I'd definitely recommend it especially since I don't know how many shops accepts walk-ins these days. But next time, I'll probably make an appointment. read more

Great haircut at a reasonable price. I thought it was strange, however, that they don't take credit card. It's near or at least adjacent to a nice area. There's a premium baker a few doors down. So I would guess most of their clients would prefer credit card. In any case, got a great haircut. She was super fast but still did a good job. Owner, or at least the guy at the front desk, seemed super nice and helpful. Should've told me it was cash only up front, however. I've been coming to Henry's Barbershop for a couple of months now and have brought my two boys as well and it has been a great experience every time and my barber Denise delivers the exact haircut we request. The professionalism and overall presence Denise has with her customers is awesome and my two boys were made very comfortable as well during their haircuts. I highly suggest using the square go app to book in advanced since every barber seems to be booked up a couple days or weeks out. It is very easy to use and of course I HIGHLY suggest using Denise! She has 30+ years of experience and doesn't disappoint. I do appreciate the many different time slots throughout the day including early morning and weekends. I'm here on a Sunday at 12:30 and there are plenty of barbers working right now. They do offer walk in's but just be prepared to have a wait in case every barber is booked up. Easy location to come to and plenty of parking. Pat is great with kids! I called same day to see if this place could cut my 1 year old son's hair and I was given an appointment for 3 hours out which was actually perfect for me since I called when they opened and still had to get us ready. Pat was his barber and she was just amazing and friendly not only to my son but also my daughter who was watching her work. She had given both kids a toy to stay occupied. Pat was quick but efficient. When I sat my son down another barber had came over and she was also friendly but I didn't catch her name. After trying another barbershop in the area since I just moved over here I was very skeptical being the last shop messed up my hair so bad but let's just say this place did a very good job and I will continue to come back. You can see how professional and clean this place is. They were constantly sweeping keeping it clean and my barber Luda got down. He was very detailed and very friendly.
