Wow, what an awesome barber shop! Friendly staff, great haircuts, and a relaxed atmosphere. They recently expanded to take over the space next door and add additional barber chairs. Parking is easy and it's next to a French bakery. Highly recommended!

I've been coming to Henry's Barbershop for a couple of months now and have brought my two boys as well and it has been a great experience every time and my barber Denise delivers the exact haircut we request. The professionalism and overall presence Denise has with her customers is awesome and my two boys were made very comfortable as well during their haircuts. I highly suggest using the square go app to book in advanced since every barber seems to be booked up a couple days or weeks out. It is very easy to use and of course I HIGHLY suggest using Denise! She has 30+ years of experience and doesn't disappoint. I do appreciate the many different time slots throughout the day including early morning and weekends. I'm here on a Sunday at 12:30 and there are plenty of barbers working right now. They do offer walk in's but just be prepared to have a wait in case every barber is booked up. Easy location to come to and plenty of parking. Bathrooms are available to customers and remember ***CASH ONLY*** The do have a ATM in the barbershop in case you forget cash so that is another great thing they offer

Very clean and professional barbers providing top tier haircuts! My go-to barber is Hil. She does excellent work in a timely manner. This place gets busy so book with her in advance! Jonny is one heluva barber!! A master of his craft! He's professional and takes pride in his skills!! Jonny's been hook'n up my skin tight fades for a good 8 years now. From the days of sporting a gentleman's cut to a slick back fade. I've been breaking woman's necks each and every time!!! Hahaha!! Foreals though, Jonny's the man if you're looking to get right!!! It was great... Love the cut and professionalism. Eyn asked if I like Trump and I said yes very much and think that may have been an issue LOL. May want to avoid those questions if you may not like the answer. The vibe is good and very busy. The prefered method of payment is cash so be prepared. They took my card but prefer cash for the reasons everyone in the service industry can appreciate. read more

So my ordeal was I had to spend a bunch of money getting dolled up for part of an interview process which ended up not working out but that's a story for another time....and probably won't be posted on Yelp anyway. But back to the subject. I decided a fresh cut would be the way to go and since Henry Barber Shop has been in the area almost as long as I've been on this side of town, I figured "why not?" In the end, it was money well spent. The vibe was very chill. Everyone I encountered was courteous, professional and I ended up getting exactly what I asked for with time to spare in my day. I'd definitely recommend it especially since I don't know how many shops accepts walk-ins these days. But next time, I'll probably make an appointment. read more

Great haircut at a reasonable price. I thought it was strange, however, that they don't take credit card. It's near or at least adjacent to a nice area. There's a premium baker a few doors down. So I would guess most of their clients would prefer credit card. In any case, got a great haircut. She was super fast but still did a good job. Owner, or at least the guy at the front desk, seemed super nice and helpful. Should've told me it was cash only up front, however. In any case, bring cash and you should be happy when you leave. read more

We can on a Friday which was busy but not chaotic. The vibe is inviting and comfortable. They did exactly what we wanted. They did a great job we will definitely be back. read more

Stumbled upon Henry Barber Shop while visiting Vegas. Scheduling an appointment online was a breeze. My husband got a haircut and beard trim with Jose, and Jose took his time to make sure he lined him up nicely. My husband said it was chill and relaxing while he got his cut, so that was a plus. Pat is great with kids! I called same day to see if this place could cut my 1 year old son's hair and I was given an appointment for 3 hours out which was actually perfect for me since I called when they opened and still had to get us ready. Pat was his barber and she was just amazing and friendly not only to my son but also my daughter who was watching her work. She had given both kids a toy to stay occupied. Pat was quick but efficient. When I sat my son down another barber had came over and she was also friendly but I didn't catch her name. This was my first time taking my son to get his hair cut so I wasn't sure what to expect but I was satisfied! read more

He gave me a soothing scalp treatment which was part of the cut plus he washed my hair after the cut. No walking around the rest of the day with clippings falling on my clothes. Not to mention the shop is located in one of the original hotel rooms at The El Cortez Hotel. I can see coming to LV from my home in LA for this excellent service in the future.

The fade looks great, so at least there's that..but the one thing my boy loved the most about his look is gone. I would have said something but what can you do, glue the hair back? The energy was upbeat, and the place was already packed and buzzing even as early as 9 PM. My only real complaint was that the music was incredibly loud. It is turned up so high that you absolutely cannot have a conversation with anyone in there without screaming, which is something to keep in mind if you're looking to chat. It was loud (not a biggie) so we got some great ol fashioneds at the bar, then inched our way to center dance floor where we didn't stop dancing to the band til 1 pm when they stopped.....we had so much fun, we (and others) wanted them to keep playing. It did cost me $25 cover (wife was free). I was ok with this. i think before 9 it's free to get in. Amazing night.

After a quick search on Yelp, I stumbled upon the Garrison, read all the reviews, and gave them a call to see if they could squeeze me in next day on a holiday weekend in Vegas. Yup, testing fate for sure! From start to finish, Elliot took real care of me. He was thorough about what I was looking for, put me immediately at ease, and we had a nice chat about our lives and experiences. For such a busy city where things are moving so quickly in Sin City, he had a real gift of slowing time (in a cheesy, but good way). My barber Cesar moved to this store a few years back, and despite me moving to a house in the North West of the valley, I am still happy to make the drive here for his awesome and friendly service, and for the overall experience. I highly recommend him, so ask for him by name if you are booking or doing a walk in! The interior really is very cool, great to have a true barbershop feel to enjoy rather than the bland and clinical interiors of most modern chains or shops. It's fun looking at all the decor, including some of the more fun items on display, it all just adds to the overall experience. It's also reasonably priced, though be aware this is a cash only establishment, so no cards, but they do have an ATM. Overall, Good Times Barbershop lives up to its name. It is always a great experience coming here and I highly recommend this business.

I'd sit there listening to my father and him talk as much shit as possible in the time allotted. Back then I never understood it. As I got older I switched from a barber to various salons. The cost of my cuts went from very basic to hours long with a multitude of crazy colors applied. Nuts. I'm happy my mother always taught me to take care of my hair. I miss the man bun days in Boulder sometimes, but I don't miss the 4-hour long stylist adventures. I'm grateful I still have it too, and I take care of it, like the rest of my body. It's taken me forever to find a spot that has that same feel I had growing up. When I found Nobleman Quarters ( @noblemanquarterslv ) I was blown away. Finally I found a place I could talk shit, expressing everything I've endured, while getting a great cut, even a killer massage, and be reminded of those times with my dad. Thank you Tanna ( @misstanna44 ) for helping me identify as 35 countless times, and most importantly realizing that keeping a door open to the past in any way is not only toxic as fuck, but it's blocking the door God's trying to close to open what he truly has in store for me. He was getting a fade but we wanted to keep the mullet he has been trying to grow out for almost 2 years now. He cut the whole thing OFF! The fade looks great, so at least there's that..but the one thing my boy loved the most about his look is gone. I would have said something but what can you do, glue the hair back?
