I first discovered the beauty of Daiso traveling through Japan in early 2013. Then I found a Daiso in Los Angeles when I lived in California. Now I found this gem on a stroll to find some dinner. Screw Dollar King, this place has QUALITY made products. Although some things in Daiso are "Made in China", just knowing I bought it from Daiso gives me an overwhelming sense of assurance that it won't fall apart or give me lead poisoning. They have everything from chopsticks to AA batteries, dog costumes to hand warmers, cell phone cases to Christmas decorations. You need it, they got it! Everything is only $2.80!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Believe it or not but I actually come here to buy authentic Italian Tiramisu flavoured chocolate balls (think Lindt). They are so good I even have my friends and family addicted. One of those places you probably aren't going to visit on a regular basis but it's good to check if you want to grab something that's cheap and does the job.

We were looking for a box to put a ring in. There was nothing really that seemed to work so Peter walked us over the another area on that floor and asked other staff. Numerous times I have wandered through and found something fantastic on sale at a random time, let alone their normal sale times. They generally have great customer service and I must say probably the best return policy I have ever seen. I actually saw someone return an item that was over 10 years old (with receipt) and staff graciously took it and refunded the money. Good on them. It's the normal DJ's with department store layout catering for most things you could desire. Neat and tidy. The food section is one of my favourites. Often I find some of the best deals in the sale section. My first port of call. lol
