I have been going to this place for years. The owner is so accommodating especially if you need a mani pedi last minute. I needed one right before our cruise during Thanksgiving. And they were able to fit me right in. The place is spacious and welcoming. Very clean. Great service from the staff as well. A friend of mine recommended this place. I think it's the kind of place where you get good service the more times you go. At these places on The first visit they always give you the cold shoulder. At least Vee did to me. She barely spoke or made eye contact and just came off as very offstandish so it was hard to tell her exactly what I wanted as she seemed to be in a rush and/or in a bad mood. The end result was good, not perfect. Base too pink and the edges not painted well. For 70 + tip I expected it to be perfect and for her to ask feedback on color, shape, end result etc, but it just seemed she wanted me out of there, and she started late even though I had an appointment because they were trying to squeeze in all their regulars. read more

Currently getting the most uncomfortable, non relaxing . Unnecessary pedicure I've ever had. I needed my nails done and this popped up with good reviews. I really want to walk without having my nails done They don't do gel builder I asked first. Had to leave they charged me for a 45 pedicure nothing polished and the worse cold water nothing done. Shockingly good. I dropped in and was assigned a lady that didn't speak English- good stuff already. I asked for just paint on my toes and she began to fix my lil' monsters with her tools. Of course, this Tampa SOHO aristocrat rebutted and she stopped-sorry about that. Her tools were clean and of the best quality but NOBODY but messes with my dogs (toenails)! It took a minute for her to finish but she was so thorough, very sweet. It took minutes longer than places in Town n' Country so 3 stars was all I could muster for now. I was looking for a place to do a quick French dip nail on me. Looked at the reviews thought it looked pretty decent. I went in and we were required to wear masks which I think was a very good decision, but the nails were not entirely what I expected according to the reviews. As you can see in the pictures my nails are clumpy the French tip on each nail is not equal and in the pink of my French tip it looks like there's bubbles in my nail so the pink is not very clear. When filing down my nails I saw the technician not entirely get my gel off before putting on the dipping powder. I was a little bit disappointed due to the few but good reviews. Visiting from out of town and found this place from a google search. I did not have an appointment.... they immediately took me and accommodated my request. The shop was Very clean and staff was very polite. My nail tech was a young man who did an excellent job and made sure to shape my nails the way I like and he did a great job applying the polish I chose. And the price was great.... fillin and polish was 30$. Cheaper than home!!! I would definitely come back here!!! read more

I have been to Hot Nails 3 visits.... The first two visits were decent, no complaints on the nails. I went this last Friday to get my nails done for a wedding. I always get a dip done. This last visit was not at worth the money. First, The lady working on my nails knicked both of my pinky's. She kept rubbing over the open sore with her tools time after time. I was flinching each time and said 3 times "ouch, that hurts". She just looked at me and smiled, said "okay, okay". She did not speak much English so I am assuming she did not know what I was saying. For 24 hours after getting them done they bled three different times. I had to wear bandaids over them to the wedding. My second issue was that on my accent fingers she did not bring the dip all the way to the end of my fingers. After the busy weekend I called Monday afternoon. Vi said "it's not my fault, but if you come in I'll take a look to see if I can fix them". I then explained that she couldn't fix the scabs around my cuticles and I thought she was Running the business that's why I reached out to her. She hung up on me. So I have been to this nice little salon twice and tonight I was very disappointed I went for mani pedi manicure with gel and supposedly French manicure Pedicure was ok. But the girl put me under drying lamp with one coat of clear polish and left No French and no gel. I went to the front and asked where the tech was and the lady said oh I thought you were done. Great place for manicures & pedicures even on crowded days without appointments, the wait isn't bad. The ONLY reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is only the manager speaks fluent English as the employees are Vietnam-Names & this was kinda my fault as I was really tired and not thinking 100% & when getting my manicure I asked the girl please don't remove the calluses on my left hand (I play guitar and they are very hard to build up to keep the steel from eating your fingertips) and just trying to be friendly she just nodded said yes ok ok. Then sat and watch as she chopped and chopped on my left hand fingertips (again I was overtired and spaced out just watching) and when she finished I looked and felt my fingertips in horror realizing that there is NO WAY I am going able to be able to play again without pain while I rebuild my callouses for a month or two. So I called the manager explained the situation & they have not gone NEAR any of my fingertips since!
