I read the poor reviews of this company before i made my purchase. Unfortunately, like an idiot i chose to rely on the dealers word vs avg Joe's who had experienced the true colors of Tim Short Chevrolet (TSC). However, I feel like I'd be doing fellow Americans an injustice by not sounding the concerns with this company. Sure, probably the majority of their vehicles are sound, but if you were to get one that wasnt you can forget and help or concern from TSC. Tony was my sales person and I believe his word that he didn't know the effects of a broken tail light that contains sensors. I have informed him of the concerns and now he knows better and hopefully he will have a conscious with the next customer regarding this issue. A 37k vehicle with a 1k repair right out of the gate for a tail light that has a hole it ( with clear tape over it) The vehicle was delivered to me with what i was told had a cracked tail light. I was driving my 2019 Ram on the second day of owning this truck and suddenly lost power to many areas (major and dangerous electrical issues). First off Jordan Short is a disrespectful busines owner, he showed no concerns when I called him. He was quick to catch an attitude but was unsuccessful in getting me to react if that was his intent. I ended the phone call with a plea to purchase a light assembly through their Chrysler store at cost and they wanted to charge me over what an oem assembly cost for the average comsumer. I get it, things happen but what is right is right and what is wrong is wrong, only a greedy business with no morals would blindly chose to not make things right. FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL. If you chose to do business with this company and find yourself in a similar situation, dont say I didn't warn you. The pictures may look minor but I promise you the moisture in that light shut down the electrical system while traveling down the road.

We pulled over at noon, I pulled up mobile mechanics near me--choosing Blankenship's Mobile Mechanic out of thin air...and wow did that turn out to be a true magic trick! I called looking for a 3.0 engine for my 2000 ford ranger. Jerry said he had low mileage engine out…read moreof a Ford Taurus that had 71,000 miles on it for 550.00. I drove about 1 1/2 hours to get it. When I get there to pick it up, it was covered in grease. I was skeptical. I almost didn't take it because it didn't look like a low mileage engine like jerry claimed. They gave me a 30 day warranty on the engine. I bought it in April 2018. I was going to put it in myself but after 2 months I took it to my mechanic to put it in for me. He had it for 2 or 3 months before he put it in. The motor was completely worn out, with no compression. It wouldn't even start. I was told that the engine had been started & was good. It wasn't. It was shot. I know I went over the allowed time to get it put in. I understand that. But I trusted Jerry Sheppard and took him at his word. Don't buy from Sheppard's auto salvage in Manchester Kentucky. They are dishonest. I paid him 550.00 for the motor and 800.00 to get it put in. I lost all that money because Jerry lied to me. Unless you can see it in the vehicle to verify mileage and hear it run then don't buy it unless they will replace the engine with another good engine and pay the labor costs as well. I'm out 1350.00 for nothing. Stay away! Also, when I called Jerry to tell him about the engine he sold me and how it was worn out. The first thing he brought up was how long I had it. Then after telling me there was nothing he could do about it. Then he says "if we can help you again, let us know". I told him he would never help me again.
