The staff was nice while I was looking at purchasing a vehicle. The owner told me that the car was checked out by their mechanics. It was on empty when I was going to test drive it, out gas in it and the owner kept telling me how people were stealing the gas. I drove it down the road and back. Bought the car and on my way home, it felt like it had a hard time switching gears. It only did it once, I thought it was bad gas that was put in it. It was a gift for my son's 16th bday, so it sat for a week. On his bday, we took it driving around and the problem continued. I called Martyns Auto Mart, they told me someone would call me. A lady called and then told me to call the following morning. I called and was told by the owner that once I drive it off the lot, it isn't their problem. He told me that I could bring it down, but whatever was wrong with it, I had to pay to get it fixed. I understand that, however, since it was only 2 weeks, I should have been able to have some kind of help. While, I think that they should fix it, I would have been willing to pay half or something. But, none of that was an option. It would be my responsibility to the whole thing. Not to mention, I paid cash for this vehicle and I was able to pay cash for another vehicle. If we could have worked out some kind of deal to get it fixed, I still would have bought another car from there, but after being told, once it leaves, it's not their problem. I'll take my business somewhere else. I'm not sure how many others have had problems with them, since they don't have a way to leave reviews on their fb page. read more
