My mini started with the summer program in 2025 which was great, so my daughter wanted to try additional programs in the 2026SY. Fall 2025 we signed up for the home school program and musical theatre class. The homeschool program allowed bullying by other students, my child's concerns were not being addressed until I started communicating with staff that I would file suit if my child was assaulted again. There seem to be many moments where children were left unattended which is how the bullying was able to happen in the first place. The children who did the bullying were allowed to continue in the home school program despite negatively impacting multiple students within the program and in my opinion the parents of the bullies were coddled instead of being reprimanded or terminated from the program. The musical theatre class I feel like I threw $1095 down the drain. Class was posted to start at 4:45pm on Fridays and end at 5:45pm however; an full hour of class only happened twice during enrollment, there was always a substitute teacher, and students were released at 5:20, 5:25 and 5:30pm regularly. On top of not having 1 hour classes which was posted, the finale performance was confusing so I missed the performance while literally standing in line to see my daughter perform. Needless to say we will NOT be returning! The 1 and 2 star reviews are very much so accurate! BELIEVE THEM!!!

When class was over and the children were in line to get out of class to go with their parents, my daughter saw Me and wanted to run out to me and Ms.Gina said "No! Get back in line" a little aggressively but I didn't think too much about it. my daughter started crying hysterically, she got back in line and I couldn't see her anymore but could hear her crying hysterically. Ms.Gina didn't see that I saw her telling her to get back in line. When my daughter got out of the class, she was extremely upset and still crying. That's when Ms.Gina said "she tripped that's why she's crying" We don't care that she told my daughter to get back in line but lying about it is very worrisome. We were still giving her the benefit of the doubt even though that incident wasn't sitting right with us. Later that night we watched the video of the class recording and what we saw made us angry and horrified! It was clear Ms.Gina was frustrated with my daughter. In one clip she tells my daughter "can you STOP" very aggressively and in another clip she grabs my daughter by her hair. I emailed the executive director and owner of the studio, Kendra with the screen recordings of those two incidents and not only did she defend and make excuses for her personal friend Gina, she also said she continues to be as proud as ever to have Gina as a member of their staff and Perfect Pointe family. But, of course, this school is beyond just a hot dance instructor. (Actually, most of them are pretty hot.) It's also about how well they treat their students, which is to say extremely well. They're friendly, helpful and patient. They all have these built-in permanent smiles that really help you from being a nervous wreck, especially for newbies of the dancefloor. Me and my mom are pretty new here, but they've been so nice and so accomodating that we're taking lessons now. (Yeah, I said it. My mom. Me and my mom dance here together. So what?) You'd be surprised at the music played during practice sessions. Sure, they will have that big band sound from the 40s when you're dancing, but what they teach you is that you can even dance to Rihanna, Britney or The Eagles to their dance steps. Neat-O, really.

She did a great job demonstrating the steps and breaking down each step so we knew exactly how to move. Each class, we would revisit the previous lessons and learn more advanced moves. We went through lots of reps and practiced a lot to the music. By the end of our sessions, we felt extremely confident and our first dance went really well! Neither me or my husband dance and we were nervous for our first dance and our dance lesson. From the moment we stepped into the studio, Maria made both of us very comfortable. She broke down all of the dance steps into small parts to build our confidence and had us put them all together once we mastered them. We left the dance lesson feeling much more confident in our skills and continued to practice at home according to her suggestions. I had a very disappointing experience with the Spring Flagship at The St. James Sports Complex. The…read morecustomer service is honestly some of the worst I've dealt with at a facility like this. One of their representatives, Daisy, was especially rude and disrespectful when I tried to ask simple questions. Instead of helping, she seemed annoyed and dismissive the entire time. On top of that, their website is extremely unhelpful and rarely has up-to-date information. It makes it frustrating to try to find accurate details about schedules, amenities, or programs. The condition of the facility itself is also very disappointing for a place that promotes itself as a premium sports complex. The pool house is constantly messy and poorly maintained, and the gyms are in some of the worst condition I've seen at a facility like this. Equipment and areas often look neglected, which really makes you question how well the place is being managed. Overall, between the poor customer service, lack of reliable information on their website, and the condition of the facilities, I wouldn't recommend the Spring Flagship location. There are much better-run gyms and sports facilities in the area.

The owner Ms Sally has been very good about letting us into Cecchetti so that we could enhance our ballet studies. Now my daughter wants to do both ballet and Cecchetti here! I also appreciate the lower cost structure of Just Dance classes. This is a studio for committed dancers with a supportive but skilled group of ballet dancers.

Our daughter has been attending Just Dance for over 2 years and she LOVES Ms. Sally and Ms…read more Samantha as her instructors. Their energy and attitudes about dance are absolutely fabulous. Most importantly, Sally teaches the girls how to be strong inside and out and builds their self-confidence. She is their mentor as well as their dance teacher. Another important thing about Ms. Sally is the quality of her ballet instruction - she gives proper corrections frequently to all of the students (in a non-criticizing way), and the kids love the personal attention. The advanced classes are just right for challenging the serious dancers. Sally also teaches the Cecchetti method, which helped our daughter's dance ability grow by leaps and bounds. The training our kids get is extremely valuable. Several of Sally's students have successfully auditioned for programs at ABT, Joffrey, and TWSB, and have won scholarships from DanceMasters of VA. Our daughter also takes tap and jazz and loves every minute of it. The students and parents at the studio are very friendly, too. Sally puts on the best dance recital in the area each year (professionally executed) and the joy the kids have when they perform makes the parents burst with pride! Sally and Samantha really help the kids understand that dance is an art form meant to entertain an audience. I'd also have to say the music during dance classes is terrific (I love the Cecchetti music!) and they have a cool rock-n-ballet cd.

This review is for the NOVA Early Learning II which is attached the the strip mall next to the…read moresmoothie shop. My son went there from 6mths old to 17 mths old. I'm giving 3 stars because most of his time there was in the infant room and I want to start by saying the infant room teachers are fabulous. It seems they really get to know the babies, their habits, and personalities very well and they were truly so loving towards my son. Never once did he cry and not want to go into class when we dropped him off... until he was switched to the toddler room at 16 months. I didn't feel the same warm, inviting feeling from the toddler teachers. My son was hesitant going to that class. And within the first 2 weeks, he had had 3 accident reports that left bumps and bruises for days. We had been able to find a new day care, but he was going to be staying at the NOVA early learning academy for 2 more weeks. After giving the 2 weeks notice, I began getting a strong sense that the teachers were a bit indifferent towards him. He would be penned up with maybe one other child or by himself. Something just felt off. Then when picking him up towards the end of that first week, he ran over to me and I had to pull an OPEN STAPLE from his mouth. The teachers barely seemed concerned. No apologies from them at all. Just an excuse the HE must have pulled it from the bulletin born in the classroom (that is all within the kids' reach). The director eventually called to apologize.... But my trust in them was completely lost. I didn't bring him back there to finish his last week. I should have trusted my gut. And I'm thankful, I caught it in his mouth as soon as he ran up to me.

I also have neighbors who have praised this center. Although, my child was never actually enrolled…read more- I did tour the center for the infant rooms. I have to say, especially for the infant 1 room.. I was not impressed. 1) There are 16 babies are ages 3-4 weeks - 16 months. That's a HUGE age and developmental range. And 16 babies? Wow! 2) 3-4 weeks is SO young. I seriously cannot imagine they have all their necessary vaccinations to be protected in group care at that age. Most centers do not allow children under 6 weeks into group care. I have to wonder why this center does. 3) Besides the range being so wide, there is no separation, logical or otherwise, of older/younger infants. While I was touring, an older baby maybe 12 months or so, climbed on top of a very young sleeping infant in a bouncer and woke them up. Now I will get to my primary complaint: 4) The administration is incompetent and above all else, they are rude! We put our daughter on the wait list for this center. We were told in September of 2014 there would be a spot available for her in March 2015. When we called in December once our daughter was born to check in and make sure a spot would be available, they told us that there would no longer be a spot available in March, but there would be one in May. I wasn't thrilled, but eh, okay.. I guess. THEN, we called back in January to check in on status (they request you call once a month... for some unknown reason) they told us they wouldn't have a spot for her until DECEMBER of 2015. September of 2014 - December of 2015. The classroom only holds babies for 16 months! They could fill the ENTIRE class up in that amount of time. We called, very upset, and visited to get clear answers. They refused to admit they skipped us on the waiting list. They insisted they give 'preference' to current enrolled families. I totally get that. But it takes 9 months to gestate a baby. The math doesn't add up. September 14 - December 15, makes us at 15 months on the waiting list. The classroom only holds babies for 16 months! They would be refilling the whole class by that point. Again, the math just doesn't add up. They obviously skipped us on the list for some reason or another and didn't even bother apologizing. During our visit, their demeanor was hostile and their overall response was appalling. They were rude. They were deceitful - and I just wouldn't trust them being the leadership where my child spends 8+ hours a day. Look for somewhere who values your child, your family and is honest and upfront with you. This is NOT that place.
