The food here is cooked to order so you're guaranteed to have hot and fresh food! You're also guaranteed to wait a significant amount of time for it because....it's cookedto order!!! We ordered mild sliders, tenders, fries and macaroni and cheese. The tenders, fries and sliders were all seasoned well and fried perfectly! The chicken was tad bit spicy but not too bad. Get the rooster sauce and be sure to ask for extra! Skip the macaroni and cheese because it is terrible! You can eat inside but this place is almost slates crowded. The staff were all friendly and seemed to enjoy being there. Although I think the food here is good, I do think they are a bit overpriced. I would visit this place more often if the prices were reasonable.

I was so excited to finally try one of the Nashville hot chicken places and this one did not disappoint! I ordered the chicken slider with fries, a side of fried pickles, and my husband got the chicken and waffle. The slider looks deceptively small but WOW it was so filling because the chicken tender had so much meat. The fries were super good - crunchy and so much flavor. The fried pickles were also good and as a plus you can customize how spicy you want them too! Spice Levels: I picked out the Hot spice level for the chicken tender. I like spice so it was the perfect amount of heat for me (without being in pain). My husband got the On Fire spice level and he has pretty high spice tolerance but he was sweating and definitely needed a drink with his meal. Place is small and good for grab and go or a quick meal. Service was really friendly and attentive.

The place is nice and spacious and super clean. The girl that takes our order every time is always nice and helpful, and they bring the food to your table which is always a nice touch in places that are more "grab and go." I always get their tender and slider combo and it never fails! The chicken is always juicy and seasoned so well, their rooster sauce is a great touch to their fries and chicken too! Totally recommend this place!

It exceeded our expectations. Will go back. Juicy, flavorful Chicken. We tried a few spice levels and loved it and how flavorful everything was. I highly recommend the chicken and waffles. Outstanding. The chicken stripe and sandwiches. The fried pickles were the best I've ever had. Dip them in maple syrup and thank me later. Fried cauliflower good too. The Mac n cheese has good cheese and live the noodles used. The plain house pickles are good too. Natalie was a great worker. She held it down. The banana pudding shake was beyond amazing. Liked the salted caramel too.

I love everything about this place. It's so yummy and they let you sample the seasonings. The staff is friendly and the place is well kept. Parking is a little rough but it's worth the walk if you have to park further away than intended. I also tried the banana pudding milkshake and it was perfectly balanced. So delicious.

This place is exactly what you would imagine a chicken spot looking like in Montclair. Service was okay and I could tell my food was made to order because it was piping hot as soon as I opened my container. The servings were generous (look at the mountain of fries) but they weren't the best chicken sliders I've ever had.

Advertised as a fast food restaurant, we tried to grab dinner before a show at the Wellmont Theater across the street and thought 30 minutes before showtime would be enough. We were wrong and came nowhere near getting our order after 20 minutes of waiting. We asked to cancel our order since they had not even started on it, and the manager said she'll take care of it and there was no need for us to wait for confirmation. After the show, we decided to try our luck again at Rooster's and the manager told us she actually forgot to cancel our earlier order, so we just said we wanted the same thing. We waited about 40 minutes before I went up to the counter to check on our order, which they hadn't even started on yet. During our wait, a steady stream of Uber Eats and Doordash orders were getting prioritized before the dine-in orders, so the small seating area was crowded by drivers waiting for pick up. Meanwhile, seating was pretty limited since the dine-in orders were not prioritized, so a lot of people were sitting at tables without any food. The sliders and fries were actually delicious when we finally received them, but overall order management and prioritization leaves much to be desired if you're looking to actually sit and eat in the restaurant.

Wow the loaded fries were delicious!! The flavors were amazing and this plate is very filling . I thought the fries were going to be soggy and surprisingly they weren't the crispiness of the fries with the mac & cheese and the crispy chicken was a great combo. The staff were nice and I highly recommend this place. I would definitely return.

I am not ordinarily a spicy/hot chicken person. When I visited Nashville last year and tried the classic "Nashville Hot Chicken," I was underwhelmed - likely because I asked for little to no spice for the chicken. Came to this place before a concert on Saturday. It's in a very convenient location across from the Wellmont, close to parking pretty much anywhere in Montclair. The interior of the establishment has mostly barstool seating, pretty bare bones. The menu is limited to sliders, wings, and tenders along with some sides of fried pickles and fried cauliflower. We got the tenders, wings, and the fried pickles. Overall the service was quick and the workers were very nice. The mild version is fairly spicy, and the medium is even hotter. Keep this in mind when selecting a spice level! The fried pickles were a welcome surprise, but very salty. I found myself guzzling water the rest of the night. Overall the breading is excellent and the Rooster sauce is delicious. Honestly, the fries were the best part of this meal! They were perfectly crisp on the outside while still being soft on the inside. My only issue with this place is the price. Spent about $20 each for the meal which is a lot for a quick-service place. I'm not the biggest hot chicken fan so I'm not sure if I will be back anytime soon, but it's a good place to have in my back pocket in case I go to more concerts at the Wellmont!

I got the pleasure to try this wonderful newer establishment! When I arrived I was lucky to find parking on the street. I walked in and went to the register. I was waiting for the owner, Amit, who came shortly after. I started with the chicken sliders and fries, and they didn't disappoint! I got them medium, and it wasn't too hot with the coleslaw on top. It was so flavorful. I then got the 10 piece medium wings, and they were medium as well, but it had more of a spice taste to it, and it was delicious. The wings were a perfect bite. My final item was the chicken and waffles, and they had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The flavors were so delicious! My overall experience was great, and I want to thank Amit and his staff for everything! I will definitely return!

I have went to a lot of establishments with similar mindset. The food portion was amazing, especially for the price! The flavors were absolutely amazing. The staff were kind and very informative to any questions we may have had. The esthetic of the restaurant is very nice

First time visiting Rooster's we had the $20 eight chicken tenders , medium spice a bit of a dry rub but the chicken itself really juicy and fresh comes with seasoned fries , four slices of white bread and a cup with coleslaw. Also the homemade rooster sauce is really good. We also asked for blue cheese as well no extra charge. Casual ambiance. Definitely worth it.
