I booked a room at Jungmann, received a confirmation and even spoke to staff members a couple of days before our arrival about where to park etc. One day before our arrival the hotel sent us an email saying they made a mistake, we do not have a booking for a room at this hotel any longer. It should not be too hard for staff members of a hotel to organise bookings. They offered 25% discount on our next stay with them. Sure they know this is not going to happen. Very sad, we were so looking forward to our trip to Prague.

Big, comfortable bed in the bedroom, futon in the living room - plenty of space for 4 people. Despite being close to the busy square (and a pub next door), the apartment was very quiet at night. No AC, but large windows and 2 fans provided plenty of ventilation, so it was comfortable even with temperatures around 30 degrees C. Fully equipped kitchen and a small grocery just around the corner. Large bathroom with washing machine, so good for longer stays too. Petra (our host) met us promptly on arrival and provided some great restaurant suggestions.

She cut my conversation and asked for any other questions. It means she screw up me.

We went to complain to the manager and he upgraded us at no charge to a junior suite that was just the right size for the two of us to be very comfortable for a week. The staff was plentiful and very attentive. Especially Alina at the front desk who went out of her way to help is find a jazz club (which turned out to be pretty great-Club Reduta). The daily breakfast was sensational with fresh vegetables, fruit, eggs, bacon, and pastries. You can eat inside in several dining rooms or outside in the beautiful atrium. An awesome way to start the day. The location is perfect. One street from the river and steps away from the Charles Bridge. Across the street is the Hemingway Bar which is also sensational. Next door is Atmosphere Club and Pub which may have the best roast chicken and garlic spinach that we ever had. The lobby has fruit-infused water 24 hours a day and complimentary fresh fruit and the rooms have a mini fridge, mini espresso maker and a kettle. All in all, would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Then looked around, you might believe you were in an american city. So if you are looking a more Czech experience, try the other Hilton nearer to the Charles Bridge

The walls were thin, so loud I could hear everything in the hallway outside my door and I could hear people having sex in rooms nearby. The beds were hard, harder than I am used to. And while I indicated my bedsheets should be changed while I was staying here, they obviously weren't. The upside, the hotel breakfast is actually very good with my options. It's within walking distance of the Florenc metro stop which can get you into the city center very quickly and cheaply. Also I thought the hotel staff were incredibly sweet and kind, they really made an impact on me. I wouldn't stay here again for the price point, I'd rather be closer to the city center. But I can see how it works fine for travel companies.
