Stayed here on recommendations of family members who stayed here during a Viking cruise. I'm always disappointed by hiltons because I always think they're going to be nice hotels for the price point, but they aren't. The walls were thin, so loud I could hear everything in the hallway outside my door and I could hear people having sex in rooms nearby. The beds were hard, harder than I am used to. And while I indicated my bedsheets should be changed while I was staying here, they obviously weren't. The upside, the hotel breakfast is actually very good with my options. It's within walking distance of the Florenc metro stop which can get you into the city center very quickly and cheaply. Also I thought the hotel staff were incredibly sweet and kind, they really made an impact on me. I wouldn't stay here again for the price point, I'd rather be closer to the city center. But I can see how it works fine for travel companies. read more

We spent four nights there at the conclusion of a Viking Cruise. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The toilet and shower were in separate rooms, both with a sink. The hotel is on the border of old town and quite accessible to the local sights. There is a breakfast buffet and separate restaurant on the Mezzanine. Despite posted signage, breakfast is done at 11:00 am in all thieir venues, so late sleeper beware. there are many conveniences on the property and access to stores nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Prague and would come back again. read more

We were here on a Viking cruise and stayed here for 4 nights. The breakfast was excellent but tea and coffee in the lounge were overpriced. The room had large closet for hanging clothes , but not enough hangers for 2 people. There were no drawers and only one place to put a suit case, so we had to keep one on the floor to work out of. The tub is higher than the floor which can be a fall hazard. The shower pressure was excellent and easy to adjust. The elevator system had an unusual way of obtaining the quickest elevator to get to your destination. Initially difficult to understand but over all an efficient system. This hotel is huge, with 800 rooms -- I wasn't surprised to learn it's the largest in the country, and one of the largest in the region. So it hosts a lot of bus groups and Viking cruise passengers, because it can handle the volume. Breakfast is busy even when the hotel isn't full...anyone who needs to pay a premium to get breakfast included should consider a local cafe instead. That aside, it is quite nice, with very modern, comfortable, quiet rooms, and great public spaces. Everything is well designed and maintained. The executive floors are over 20% of the hotel, so there seems a good chance generally for an elite upgrade there. The location is tricky. It's beyond the edge of Old Town, so easier for automotive access but a bit of a walk to the major sights; on the other hand, it's adjacent to the Florenc transit hub and the more typical Karlin neighborhood, making it a possibly good choice for business visitors. And from what I've seen, it's generally cheaper than equivalent hotels more centrally located. read more

At the Hilton Prague, everything is very professional. We especially liked visiting the Hop House, which is a reasonably priced, casual bar with a great burger and beer. Adrian, Diego, and Mandana worked as a good team, they were friendly and polite. read more

I stayed at Hilton Prague during my trip to Prague in July 2023, the location is ideal, it is within walking distance of the central points of Prague, while also being close to the highway, allowing you to get in and out of the city quickly. The hotel also has a swimming pool, spa, sauna and casino. The hotel is huge, it has 791 rooms and reminds me of one of those Big American-style hotels, mainly down to the grand lobby containing a jewellers and souvenir store and the presence of the casino. PRO TIP: Leave the hotel via the basement, cut through the small shopping centre across the way and you are able to get tram or bus services from Florenc if you don't fancy a walk into the city, otherwise an Uber isn't too expensive either. I did find it took a little longer than I would have liked to check in, but the hotel staff were very friendly. As a Hilton Diamond member, I felt valued as the receptionist contacted the manager as I was checking in, she came over and gave me her business card and mentioned that she valued me as a Diamond member. Even though the greeting was lovely, I would have much preferred to have been upgraded to a suite, but I was upgraded to a room on the Executive Floor which was still nice and comfortable. I was given a physical key as this property does not support Digital Key. I did have to put a large card hold on my account, as I do not use a credit card, this meant the funds were on hold on my debit card for my entire stay, granted they did an excellent job at returning the hold straight away, but I think card holds are draconian and inconvenient now. The staff in the hotel as a whole were excellent, they seemed friendly and happy to help, I particularly liked the exclusive executive desk on the executive floor, which could be used for guests to check in, check out and resolve general queries. Despite only having an Executive Room, my room was comfortable and had decent facilities including a table for working a comfortable bed, a mini bar, decent lighting and a good amount of plug sockets, so I was happy overall. I was greeted with a small miniature bottle of Czech whiskey to welcome me to the hotel which was a nice touch. The Executive Room is recently refurbished, and was also comfortable, they had a happy hour with beer, wine and spirits in the early evening, and provided fresh soups every day which were excellent. I really enjoyed the goulash, and potato and meat soup in particular. The standards of food in the hotel remained very good, including breakfast, however, the custom omelettes always seemed to have too much cheese, even if I asked for just a little, but the scrambled eggs and hash browns were good, with gluten-free sausages and allergens labelled on the buffet. A number of issues did arise during my stay. The pipes between my room, and the room directly next to me were very noisy, this meant whenever my neighbouring room used the toilet, shower or taps, it would be painfully noisy in my room, I did alert the staff members about this and maintenance told me there was nothing he could do. It was lucky that I also had reserved the room next to me, for other members of my travelling group, and we were able to plan a bathroom schedule accordingly, but we shouldn't have had to do this. I did have to end up moving rooms the following day anyway, due to an exterior noise issue with construction work starting in the early hours of the morning which woke me up. This isn't the hotels' fault, but they must have been aware of the construction and a little warning would have been nice. The bathroom was a little small, however like the rest of the hotel as a whole it was clean, I do dislike the fact they have the wall-mounted soaps, which I find frustrating to use, compared to the cute miniature bottles, again I get they're trying to be environmentally friendly but I find it just looks cheap and tacky while making it more difficult for the guest. On my final night, there was a huge security operation in the hotel, with security in all areas of the hotel, even members of the army, again with part of the hotel closed and men staring at me as I would get in and out of the lift, with some people outside rooms with military-grade weapons, I did feel quite nervous. The hotel only provided me with the information "It is a guest who needs extra security" after I asked if everything was okay. I later found out, it was a visiting President from another country who stayed at the hotel and due to the nature of this person, I can understand the security, but I can understand how they could have created fear amongst guests. A comfortable hotel in a good location for Prague, being close to the highway allowing easy connections from further afield such as the airport and Czechia as a whole, I did run into a number of problems during my stay, but the good seemed to outweigh the bad and the hotel did have a good service standard overall. 4* read more

Beautiful modern building with great amenities, everything is in great condition. The rooms are very modern and the bathrooms are very nice. The light switches are a little confusing, and there is no switch for the light inside the bathroom, only on the outside. And the fridge with the mini bar kept locking, I had to keep getting it manually unlocked. Aside from that, customer service was great, everything was very clean, and overall had a nice atmosphere. read more

Stayed for 4 nights. Check in was friendly and location is GREAT. Easily walk able with lots to eat on the way. Also just a block away from some good food and bus station. The gym at this hotel is the best I've ever seen. It's quite enormous and has everything. Breakfast is pretty decent and again you're so close to a market should you need anything. We closed down the bar twice at Hop House. Caleb was our server one night & he was awesome. We tried cloud 9 one night but only lasted 1 drink. We weren't too impressed but as you can it might have only been us as everyone else raves about it. Shout out to Roksala, Lokai, and Anastia who made our trip memorable. Well the breakfast was delicious every morning. We had lunch once and I liked that I was able to use the gym when I was in the mood. Every Hilton property we stayed at had a great wow moment. Hilton Prague - Atrium from 5th floor - Hotels Near Me - Prague, Puerto Rico

Hilton has been my go to for their sprawling amount of hotels across the globe. Problem is that service and quality are always at a flux on either end of the spectrum. Let's just say that while my room was comfortable, but beyond that, there was more problems that simply cannot be overlooked. First Impression: as a Diamond Honors member, I always expect the same level of service that all Diamond members should receive. I am and will be the easiest to please; room upgrade, late check out, lounge access, and breakfast (in certain markets). And this is the most basic of benefits offered to Hilton's highest elite tier. While the hotel did acknowledge my tier level and provided access to the lounge; there was no upgrade given. And so I thought that I was alright with that. What followed certainly gave my stay impression unfavorable to say the least. Location: I had originally booked a hotel (non Hilton branded) which had a closer distance to the city center. But, I found that no matter where you stay in Prague; the Metro grants easy access from all corners of the city. Florence Metro station is physically 2 blocks away, and is 30 minutes away from the airport. There are buses also at Florence station, but I found that they run roughly 10-15 waiting time. Convenient nonetheless. Now For The Room: I believe this Hilton is corporate owned and managed as it is quite massive. The overall design reminded me of the Hilton in Budapest. The room itself feels new due to a recent renovation. Light wood, cream and brown furniture with grey flooring accent the room in modernity. My most important request was granted; the room came with USB ports on both sides of the bed, and qi enabled charging pad on the night stand. Now, the bathroom though; dated, egg shell white toilet, soaker tub, and oddly shaped standalone curved shower. The overall bathroom even smelled old. I do not understand how a hotel will refurbish the hotel room but leave the bathroom as is. The Front Desk did provide another room where the bathroom was, though not that much better; slightly re-done with a bowl like vanity and everything else the same. Technical Issues: the telephone in the second room was not working. Upon entering the room, I noticed the phone being unplugged and so I proceeded to re-establish connection. While the phone would turn on, it lacked a dial tone. It was getting rather late and so I asked for an engineer to take a look at it the following day. I purposely left the do not disturb sign off the door so that the room could be serviced. We left the hotel for the day and returned just after 8PM. A letter was left stating that they are unable to service our phone until the following day (Monday) with one of their specialists. This is where things got offensive: well, I couldn't call down to the Front Desk and so I gave a visit in person. A manager spoke to me, and said that the phone, which while it is within their vicinity, that they are however not responsible nor liable for the in room phone not working. The manager then said that Hilton's call center are in charge of the phone lines and only they can assist with the issue at hand. The managers only solution was to move my room, to which I declined because of the late evening and having to vacate the hotel at 4AM the following morning. The manager then asked if I am aware that I booked a Friends & Family or employee related discounted rate? I asked him what difference does it make. The managers answer to me was that yes, it makes a difference as this determines who they are to assist and not to assist in any means. You cannot tell that what I experienced was not at all in any way offensive. I basically left the desk thinking that I should have never booked with Hilton, or ever again if this is how they choose to assist their guests. The Saving Grace: as a Diamond Honors member, I was able to access the executive lounge, which also meant that breakfast can be had there or in the main restaurant. The breakfast in the lounge was alright but not fulfilling. The breakfast in the main restaurant was definitely the better of the two. I made sure to fill myself before exploring Prague. Final Thoughts: I wanted to leave feedback regarding my experience, and unfortunately it was the same manager from before (British make), who was un-sincere and unapologetic. He said while I may be offended, perhaps he can provide a better experience on my next stay? Truth be told, I don't plan of returning and to put it plainly; when you want to "make it right", shouldn't it be "made right" there and then? Be it as it may, whether you booked third party, employee, or what ever rate; we all should be treated the same fairly, and with respect. That being said, it's a comfortable hotel but service is just sub par. read more

This is the worst hotel ever. The first night, we couldn't get housekeeping or the front desk to make up the sofa bed for our young children until midnight and it was after making several calls and several in person visits to the front desk. We all ended up oversleeping the next day and missed half a day of exploration because of this. The second night, we were awakened at 4:30 am by shouting and screaming in a nearby room. It woke us all up and we couldn't go back to sleep after exploring the where the noise was coming from. We were only in Prague for 2 days and this hotel ruined our vacation instead of allowing for restful sleep. Also, the architecture of the hotel is horrible. Half the rooms have an "inside"view of the atrium and half of the rooms have an outside view. The inside rooms are claustrophobic and oddly voyeuristic. We have stayed at Hiltons around the world and this is the worst experience we have had at a Hilton. read more

This property wasn't our choice to stay in Prague. As a part of the river cruise group we are spending two nights at Hilton Prague. The reason I'm mentioning this is that the location isn't the best for walking to old town. As a HHonor member I have experience with Hilton brand. Experience with this hotel isn't what I expected. After we walked into the room air was stuffy and warm. Had a hard time to cool it down, but fortunately able to open the window and survive the night. The room was dark and standing lamp next to recliner strength of candle light. In the morning Maintance crew replace the bulb and A/C air filter. The same wasn't replace for long time. This is a high volume Hilton that hosts a lot of tour groups and the staff has accumulated a disdain for guests as a result. If you an American who is nervous about staying in Prague and want to make sure everyone at your hotel will speak English, and your hotel will feel a bit familiar, this is not a bad choice. The breakfast is chaotic and but tasty and the staff will eventually help you with whatever you need, even if they make you wait for it and roll their eyes in the process. If you want somewhere that is an easy walk around the city and has more charm and friendliness then we strongly recommend the other Hilton in Old Town, or one of the city's many lovely local hotels. But this place gets the job done in a pinch. read more

Although this building is impressive to look at it's stark and cold feeling. After river cruising on the Danube for 10 days we were put up in this Hilton. This is an imposing structure and when you enter it, it seems gigantic. A great deal of the interior is devoted to an enormous atrium that makes you feel like you are in a town square. We attempted to check in and were told we couldn't until after 3 PM. That's normal so we did a bit of sightseeing and returned. English speaking is mandatory for hotel staff and the young lady who signed us in spoke very well, only didn't seem to want to talk much. I had to ask her if she wanted my credit card on file. We weren't told there was a breakfast buffet included, nor where it was. No mention of getting wifi, ice machines, minibar, etc. Hell, she didn't even tell us where the elevators were. That might not seem like a big deal but in a place this big it wasn't obvious. The room was decent but not as lavish as the lobby hinted at. I went to the desk and asked about the wifi; $15/day. That's really bullshit because for what you are paying in this day and age, it should be included. It was in other hotels in Europe. Funny thing, there was free wifi in the lobby only, so you had to come downstairs if you didn't want to use very expensive data. Well we did find out about the breakfast buffet and they had everything and more than you could ask for; very nice. read more

We stayed here for our Viking cruise (Viking chose). Our stay was good in the beginning. It's a nice location and staff were all pretty nice all the time except for one female concierge. She acted like you were bothering her every time you came to the desk. Our stay was fine in the beginning. On the last day the chose to start construction on the room next door at around noon one day. I was taking a nap because I was sick and it sounded like a jack hammer was coming through the wall. Like literally it was so loud we recorded it. We even brought the general manager up to the room to hear it. We complained but they did not do anything. They said well the construction has to take place as scheduled and would continue until 6 pm! You can move rooms. Are you fricken kidding me? On our last day when we had 6 bags that were all opened and unpacked in the room. We also complained to Viking and they basically did nothing as well. You would think they would have had the basic skill set of when you're booking a room you BLOCK rooms next to rooms that are going to be having construction done in them. They could have offered a discount or at least given us access to the executive lounge or something. They didn't care, they were like oh we'll deal with it. read more

My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Prague for two days early in May to begin a Viking river cruise. The hotel was chosen by Viking and it was an excellent choice. The hotel is modern and well-appointed and designed. The staff was friendly and helpful in everything. The hotel is directly next to a metro stop. Across the street is a small shopping mall that offers a pharmacy, an Alberts grocery store and other places for forgotten items. The hotel is not in the Old Town area, but it was not difficult to get to anything from here. Our room was very comfortable. Viking provided our breakfast buffet and it was excellent. There are also other great dining options in the hotel. Highly recommended if you're seeking a more modern hotel in Prague. read more

The staff went above and beyond for us at this place. Their executive lounge is the best I have seen in a Hilton. The Amsterdam Doubletree Hilton was my favorite but now Prague Hilton is my favorite. The breakfast had a very large selection of items and very good coffee, expresso cappuccino and so on. the evening setup had hot food, salads, desserts, hard liquor, wine and beer. Staff was very courteous and willing to help out. The facility is huge one of the biggest Hiltons but very well ran by management. Looking forward to be back here. read more

NOTE: There are two Hiltons in Prague. This is not the one in old town. It's more of a convention center #hotel -- just a 10 minute walk (with window shopping) to old town. The #hotel is HUGE! With many dining options, shops and #meeting rooms. We stayed on the executive level which might be why I'm giving it a higher rating than most Yelpers. The rooms are well appointed but small especially when traveling with a lot of luggage. My room had a balcony over looking the in-door atrium. Not a bad place to get some work done. On the executive level they offer breakfast, snacks, and cocktails. But it's all done on a schedule...there will be no cocktail served before IT IS time. The staff was very friendly and they offered much more than bagels and nuts. Hot and cold options were available during breakfast and snack times. There is private #meeting space on the executive level perfect for advisory boards or think tank #meetings. It will keep on budget with some much of the #F&B (T&E) covered in the sleeping room rate for attendees. Yes, you'll still need to order for #F&B for the #meeting. The jewel of this level is the concierge! Always available to help with directions and suggestions! I had a situation with a 50 page legal document that needed to be printed, reviewed, signed, and scanned. I expected HUGE push back. The document was printed without a blink of an eye or a charge. Then they apologized for not being able to scan a document that large. So it was down to the business center. Again I expect a long wait and a huge charge. Within 20 minute the scanned document was in my inbox with no charge and I was able to get back to work! Great please for business or pleasure #travel! read more

I think three stars are an accurate rating for this hotel, as overall it wasn't particularly good and it wasn't particularly bad either. The location isn't as good as Hilton Pague Old Town - to get to the city center you will need 20 minutes walk and to get to the bus stop around 10 minutes. It's not as spacious nor as elegant as other Hilton hotels, it's more grim and dark and the halls smell of cigarettes (I really hate that smell!). Even though it is not as luxurious as Hilton's other hotels they still charge outrageous amounts of money for internet access and food/drinks. Also room service meals aren't very good. However, it still is a nice place to stay. There are some very good restaurants and shops inside. The rooms are pretty large and well furnished, comfortable and clean. The same goes for bathroom. The staff cleans regularly and they respect your signs at the door and do not barge into your room while you are making up for lost sleep. The basic room equipment such as iron, boiling pot, coffee express and hair dryer is in good working order and there are some interesting channels on TV. I also like the fact that you can always check your hotel expanses on your TV. Almost all the staff speak good English, they are very pleasant and try to accommodate all requests. When we arrived, there was some misunderstanding concerning our reservation and they send us a bottle of pretty good wine latter as an apology. All in all, for their price I wold have expected something a bit better but I also have nothing major to complain about. read more

Like others said, staying at Executive level is so worth it!! I loved my room even if it was facing inside. Room was very spacious and comes with big comfortable bed, nice bathroom and plenty of space. The lounge offers great breakfast with a menu for you to choose a certain items like omelet, pancake, french toast (best I've ever had!!), poached egg and etc.. Throughout the day, they serve snacks, cake and sandwiches in addition to all kinds of drinks and espresso drinks. Entire hotel staff are friendly and free wifi is available throughout the hotel. Convenient location to be in Prague, have a view, and yet stay out of the crazy busy tourist spots. Include breakfast for the BEST Hilton breakfast buffet you've ever seen! My husband and I stayed here for six nights given this Hilton location was the conference hotel for his annual international academic conference. It was such a great experience! The hotel staff greeted us kindly, and our room was ready after our international flight, even though we arrived at 11 am. Check-in was smooth, and we put a card on file. Don't forget to constantly calculate the currency exchange from CZD - otherwise it seems like a shocking price! There are currency exchange and ATMs in the hotel lobby, but don't forget there will be additional charges. (In comparison, for fair rates and 0% commission exchange in the area, reference The Honest Guide - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHNzBvFXmf4). The lobby is nice and a moderate size, but the real magic happens in those separate spaces! The conference spaces on the LL, L, and M floors were great and organized, the elevator system was rather fast and efficient (though, tbh, some guest *could not* figure it out and seemed frustrated by it...), and there were several nooks that you could escape and work in - perfect for a conference hotel! When you're ready to explore, take the shortcut from the mezzanine level, walk through the nearby pasag, then get a metro pass from the Florenc station. Yes, you're not RIGHT in Old Town for this hotel, but it gives you the opportunity to try so many more places (and travel by Prague's absolutely great and consistent subway and tram) - and avoid the tourist traps that are overpriced! The room was comfortable, the view was good, but we couldn't get the air cool enough. When trying to cool off the room at night, the AC turns off if the window is open, so it was tricky trying to establish a balance. We were satisfied with limited room cleaning (knowing that saves energy), but each time I mentioned to the front desk that we did *not* need our room cleaned (since our "Do Not Disturb" sign went missing), someone still stopped by. Oh well! Depending on your tolerance for walking, especially after a long day exploring, request a room near the elevator. There is only one lobby of elevators, centrally located, so it's likely your room could be on the opposite end of your floor (50 rooms, around 2.5 long hallways). The toughest part of our room was the unexpected construction - I never knew when the tiling(?) in the bathroom next door (sounded that close) was going to happen, between 7am-4pm. After an international flight and trying to get a nap here and there, this was frustrating! But the MAGIC is in their breakfast. They have a large array of options, better than any breakfast buffet I've ever seen at a hotel! After they check your room number, you're seated and a kind server asks what hot beverage you'd like. Then, you get up and explore the AMAZING selection of breakfast. Hot items included made-to-order omelettes, eggs, various sausage, potatoes, beans, and boiled eggs. Various pastries (kolaches, pain au chocolate, croissants, homemade bread), freshly made waffles or crepes, granola, oatmeal etc, were popular with the kids (and me). There was a section of more savory (non-American) style breakfast items with mini sandwiches, hummus, spreads, vegetables, and even more! This was honestly one of my absolute favorite parts of staying in this hotel. Prices at Cloud 9 (bar located on the top floor) were exceptionally high in comparison to the area, but that's to be expected for a hotel bar. Great view though! read more

The rooms were ok a bit oddly designed but good size, the bed was nice but was designed by the KGB to collect DNA samples from people's shins, I left several samples is skin for them. The WiFi, well they give you ONE hour a day of free WiFi lmfao! Luckily this city has so much to do and see I doubt I used 30 min a day. The staff were first class, the food delicious, the beer was fine! I love Prague and the Hilton on the river was pretty nice too. read more

Fellow travelers beware. Due to construction activities inside the hotel, this hotel is very noisy between 10am and 7pm daily. The hotel web site does not disclose the fact that construction goes on daily. In fact, the web site indicates 'There is no visible impact ... we trust our guests will not be disturbed'. I waited until September 21, 2019 to write this review as I wrote Hilton corporate management requesting the hotel web site be updated to disclose the construction hours so that consumers can make an informed decision. Unfortunately that has not happened so far. My wife and I stayed at this Hilton for four nights between August 13 and August 17, 2019. The first two nights were booked by Avalon Waterways as part of a Danube cruise. We heard loud drilling and hammering noise while waiting to check in. At the front desk, the staff who handled our check in indicated the hotel had been and was still under renovation with construction hours between 10am and 7pm. That information did not hit home until we got to our room on the 7th floor. This room is dated and is need of update, which is probably why the construction noise emanated from the surrounding area as it would appear the entire floor is subject to renovation. We had arrived around noon with the intent to rest in the room. The noise gave us a headache and made it impossible to stay in the room. After going to the front desk, we were able to switch a room on the 5th floor. This room had been renovated so it looks and functions a lot better than the first room we were assigned. While the room was quiet the first day, the noise returned on the second day and lasted until our departure. While many travelers may be out touring the city, being able to rest in our room during the day is critically important to my wife. As a result of the noise, we were not able to rest at all during the day time hours. When I asked to switch room on the 1st day, the front desk staff I spoke to indicated that the construction will continue in the foreseeable future and she has no information about the projected end date. She also said there is nothing she could do with respect to the noise. A manager level staff walked by and chimed in indicating that the noise is the reason the hotel offered free beer in the lobby. With respect to the hotel, I would rate it as middle of the road in terms of room size, cleanliness, bed comfort, and amenities. As other reviewers had noted, this hotel is very busy so check in or check out entails 20 to 30 minutes wait. The hotel is shaped as a cube with a large atrium but with only one set of elevators located in one of the four sides of the cube. Our assigned room was located on the opposite side of the atrium across from the elevators, the walk between the room and the elevators was long. Breakfast selection is decent although nothing memorable. Specialty juice was offered but in extremely limited quantity. There apparently is insufficient seating given the size of the hotel. Most of the restaurant staff do not smile and typically gave an unfriendly vibe as though they dislike their jobs. The hotel is about 25 to 30 minutes to walk to various parts of old town although a subway station and bus stops are within 5 minutes walk. However, there are very limited dining options within 10 minutes walk of the hotel. read more

Worst customer service I have ever received at any Hilton. Beautiful property but staffed by less than personable individuals. Came at part of a tour group. They wouldn't allow me to get credit for stay, which happens sometimes, but this hotel would not even acknowledge my status as a diamond member. Would not give me even a bottle of water! Seems that they should acknowledge one as a Hilton Diamond member irrespective of how you are paying for the room. read more

Not the best location in Prague if you want to go to the old town. We were part of a tour so we really didn't have a say. There is major construction going on for most of the day until @6-7pm. They should be ashamed of themselves. The hotel is very, very large and impersonal. We stayed here after our 8 day Viking river cruise of the Danube and were very disappointed. We had stayed at the Budapest Hilton before the river cruise and that was considerably smaller, and the help was warm friendly and caring.and the accommodations were much better. We arrived after a 4 hour bus ride and of course we could not check into our rooms until a few hours later. We were tired and thirsty when we got to the room. We trudged down the hall with our ice bucket only to discover that the ice machine was out of ice. When I called the front desk and told them they said that there would be ice in an hour and that someone would bring it up to us. When we checked out 3 days later we still hadn't received the ice. We called up for washcloths which we find in every hotel where we travel and they arrived the next day. The breakfast buffet is lovely, as many other reviewers have noted but it is very poorly laid out and they are short of help. After you are shown to a table it is hard to find someone to bring you a cup of coffee or tea. Likewise, no one comes around to clear away the used dishes during the entire meal. We had breakfast there the 3 mornings of our stay and this happened repeated;y. Maybe they ought to have the gal giving out free gelato in the lobby between 7- 10 AM helping out iwith the breakfast buffet instead. I don't know any Americans who eat gelato at that hour but maybe Asians and Europeans do. We were notified online and also read a number of reviews indicating that the rooms had recently been renovated. Well, what was the person who designed the bathrooms thinking. We spoke to many on our VIKING tour and we all had the same reaction. The shower is a bathtub a mile high and is very inconvenient, and a safety hazard to say the least. Besides, only the front half of the shower has a glass door, causing the water to drip on the floor - a mess. We have stayed at many hotels with lesser names and that cost a lot less and had accommodations and personnel that were much more to our liking. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Rude frontdesk when they had made a misstake, will avoid this property in the future, also the personel was not guest friendly lots of reprimands all over the place, breakfast / spa. The waiter take your plate or coffe while your still are eating or drinking your coffe, if your used to US hiltons and great service avoid this hilton, it might look nice but its like going back to the communist days. oh did I mention water is like 10$ plus. read more

After arriving to the Hilton Prague from a very long flight, we checked into a room on the fifth floor. While we were trying to sleep during the day from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, we are hearing constant hammering and drilling from the room directly above us. I spoke to the front desk and the liars at the front desk tried to convince me that the construction was on the opposite side of this 800 room hotel and that we should not be hearing anything. These liars were trying to gas lamp me but the evidence that I recorded proves that I am not imagining things. So much for being a Hilton's Honors member. read more

Had a few small issues but management was quite good in resolving them. The fitness gym was quite big and lots of friendly locals using the gym and pool so I had a chance to speak with them . The fitness club staff were extremely friendly. The bell men were very helpful and friendly . Used the executive lounge. One lady Monika was always very friendly and cheerful and always greeted me. Food could be replenished more but I guess it was hard to keep up with the guests devouring the food read more

(From a Gold member's POV.) Best customer service ever. Free birthday cake brought to my room as a surprise, a different snack each night ready when I arrive, and more. I did lose a few socks through their laundry service, but the comped my internet to call it even so no hard feelings. The casino is fun, and seems to not entirely rob every player like most. Many left with a decent sized winnings. Free drinks and cigs while playing if you're not obnoxious. I think they have some sort of discretion about it. Many guests go, so it's a nice place for conversation if you're traveling alone. 8th floor food in the morning is good; better than most. The gym is outstanding. Not just the normal dumbbells and treadmills. Barbells, machines, squat racks, aerobic rooms, climbing grips (under the stairs), etc. There's even a free sauna, steam room, and (admittedly expensive) massage rooms. Overall, I have nothing to complain about and plan on staying here again if I ever make it back. read more

This was my first time visiting for two nights. The room was very reasonably priced. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The (free) welcoming fruit basket in the room was a nice touch. The mini fridge prices were very expensive so plan accordingly. The hotel staff at the front counter were pleasant. The currency exchange machine in the lobby was very convenient. Came here with a Viking cruise ship for the first part of the trip. To put my review in context I am a sucker for a luxury hotel. I don't cheap out. I'm willing to pay and I don't whine about price. I'm always working remotely so wifi and a nice desk matter. Now for the review: Pros: Easy to exchange cash or withdraw at a money changer downstairs (helps a lot) Wifi reasonably fast but you'll have to pay Breakfast. Nothing touched it for my entire 3 week trip. Incredible. Don't miss it. Great rooms, very good food. Was here for a conference and the service is excellent. Almost all the staff speak some English, and they try hard to accommodate all requests. The concierges are knowledgeable, and tours can be booked from the lobby. Had my birthday while here, and the Guest Relations folks left a small cake and a card in my room. Very attentive. read more
