This convenient location is the greatest asset of the hotel. Nus on its own is not particularly exciting, but there is a basic convenience store next to the hotel for you to stock up and go on your merry way to Mont Blanc, Matterhorn, etc. The rooms are modest but clean, and both sides of the hotel have nice hillside views. Not all rooms have air conditioning, but closing the blinds during the day keeps them pleasantly cool. Plus you can always cool down in the outdoor pool and swim while enjoying the mountain views. (For winter, there is an indoor pool) As for cuisine, for a two star hotel, it really exceeded my expectations. The continental breakfast is sufficient and the dinners pleasantly filled you up with a basic salad buffet, very hearty soups or antipasto pasta, meaty main meals and a choice of desert or fruit. If you have special requirements, a la carte is also possible. If you go to a two star hotel, obviously you are not expecting high dining. The food here may have been simple, but it was of good quality and well seasoned. I recommend trying the Italian house wine with your meal. The hotel seems to be a family-run place - the staff are very kind and accommodating, even the ones speaking very little English. If I needed to stay in the area, I'd gladly come back.

What an amazing place, even though it was late in the evening they were quick to furnish us with two super clean, super neat rooms. In the morning the owners make breakfast for the guests of the hotel. And they make certain you are full. Most of the food was fresh made but ALL was delicious. As we were leaving, they actually helped us with our luggage and came out to say good bye. On the way back into Italy we wanted to see if they could accommodate us again. Even though it was late in the evening, the owners made us feel right at home and quickly made a room available. Delightful people the owners are, I met them once and felt as if they were family. Location-wise it was very close to everything we needed. They pick you up from the train station in an electric car if you request it. They also take you back. The breakfast they offer was quite good so take advantage of it.

We work in tourism and I myself travel often visiting different hotels and areas across the globe. We were very excited about our stay here and ready to relax. Upon arrival, we had booked two rooms for our group of five. We have stayed in many reputable hotels already on this three week trip through Europe and I always call the booking company to make sure there are no issues with us having three people in a room together. They had said everything would be alright. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a look of disgust from the young lady behind the counter as if we didn't belong there. She was extremely upset we had five people and not two per room. I explained the situation and she said it was against policy to have additional people without a charge. In the end, we agreed to pay the charge. However, the way the entire situation was handled was extremely unprofessional and has left a foul taste in my mouth. She didn't once apologize that we had been giving misinformation or explain any of the issues stated above in a kind way. She was abrupt, rude, and extremely judgemental. Maybe because of our age which is ridiculous. I run a production company as a profession and if I ever caught an employee of mine treating people the way we were treated I would be utterly ashamed. We have also called the front desk to ask a few questions and have been brushed off, no professionalism, no accommodation, no hospitality. An establishment of this caliber shouldn't brush off paying guests. Hopefully, this experience improves, but we are off to a horrible start.

It's quiet. The ladies at the front desk were absolute rockstars. We just wanted to leave our backpacks and come back in the afternoon to check in but they let us check in when we got to the hotel at 8:30am without hesitation! They were super nice and friendly. There's a restaurant in front of the lobby. Our stay included breakfast but we left before breakfast hours. Our room was huge. Lots of cabinets and storage space. Our balcony had a nice view of Matterhorn and has two chairs. There's a separate living room with a TV, couch and seats, and a dining table. The bathroom was a good size with a separate shower and a tub. There are robes and slippers in the cabinet in the bedroom. A few steps outside the hotel, there are restaurants, cafes, chocolate shops, shopping, museum, a church and it's just picturesque. It's a beautiful place to be. They have little e-trucks that look like tuk tuks that can take guests/ luggage around/ to/from the train station. But we didn't need it since we didn't have luggage and the train station is like a 2-minute walk.

We choose this hotel due to its close proximity to the train station. No issues with notices from trains. Walking distance to city center. Front desk clerks all courteous and professionals! I was worried a deep tissue would be too painful but that was premature. I was expecting and hoping for heavier work but I guess I've been spoiled by my regular masseuse back home. The deep tissue here ends up more like a Swedish massage, with more flowing strokes than deep pressure work. Still, I think the end result was still effective as I did feel better afterwards, so thanks Marcela. She finished with a cooling cream for my legs to treat soreness from snowboarding as well as a heating cream for chronic tightness in my traps. Location is accessible, like everything else in town. It's especially close to the train station. Facilities are modern, clean and comfortable, exactly what you would expect from a spa. They offered the use of the saunas and pools for a small additional charge but I passed. Otherwise it's free for hotel guests. I did relax with a nice cup of tea though and showered before I left. They specialize in CBD treatments, if you're interested. A nice bit of pampering in the middle of a long snowboarding trip. It comes at a more palatable price if you ask for last minute bookings.

What I liked most about this hotel was the free sauna and spa area. Everything was so clean and taken care of. The stainless steel swimming pool was amazing with the built-in, hot tub at the side. You have to check it out. The CBD sauna was enjoyable. They had a salt room that was relaxing and a cold plunge which I enjoyed.
