We loved our two night stay at the Hotel Costa Norte back in late November. The hotel staff is very friendly and the rooms are spacious and nice enough. Don't expect a five-star spa experience, but that seemed impossible to find anywhere in and around Flori anyway. The location on the white sand beach is perfect. They'll bring out beach chairs and set up an umbrella for you out in the sand, and you can spend your day alternating between long walks up and down the beach, wading into the water (or surfing, if that's your thing) and eating delicious seafood / sipping on cold beverages. This hotel also happens to have the best restaurant in the area, so you don't need to venture far when you're hungry. Prices are okay. We had an issue with the AC units in one of our rooms which the staff fixed within an hour or two after we notified them of the problem. Definitely a good option if you're looking for a low-key relaxation destination on the beach for a couple of days. The beach was pretty sparsely populated while we were there in late November. Not sure if it gets crazier in the peak summer months. read more
