We had the view of the front part of hotel overlooking the parking lot. No obstructions or tall buildings. The fridge was stocked with two canned waters. Which came in very handy on the night we checked in. The accessible bathroom was good, the shower was ok - just the door seemed a little flimsy. Breakfast for us vegans was OK - but what made it excellent was the staff on duty for all the three breakfasts. We notified them we were vegans and they pointed out what was good for us. The next two days at least one person came out with something just for us. That was heart warming as we had few choices. The front desk again was just absolutely amazing as well. Very friendly and helpful. Just one negative - location. Far away from (public transit) the last metro station and then a bus and then an approx 10 minute walk.

It is absolutely gorgeous with elegant furnitures, collective articles, wall panels and crown molding. The decoration is stunningly beautiful. The staff is very friendly remembering your name and can tell you stories about the collective articles. The building itself was an elegant reminder of European history and culture. My stay there for a business trip was just fabulous. It wasn't super expensive for European hotel standard, euro 165 a night for a king size bed. If you visit during the week of Formula One race competition, it would be very hard to find a spot at this hotel if you do not book early (by the way, the hotel room is decorated with many Formula One photos). Only slightly annoying thing is they have to buzz you into the gate every time you enter, but this is common and they do it for cars and pedestrians alike. other minor things: I couldn't figure out the shower temperature control. The handles were confusing. It stayed only at one temperature, but fortunately that temperature was warm enough. The ventilation system had a fan-only setting but it was a little squeaky. The room could use a lot more hooks to hang things on. Staff were very friendly and helpful and all spoke English, which seems common in hotels here.

The location is about 5 miles from the Galleria, which is--believe it or not--about a 30 minute taxi ride (and 25 euros). However, the hotel is a few hundred feet from the M1 Metro station which will take you right to the Galleria and the Duomo. There is nothing special within walking distance of the hotel, but there is a pharmacy, a cafe or two, and a supermarket. The room itself was decent sized for Europe, had a balcony, and a cold mini-fridge. The bed was comfortable, and I slept well every night. All in all, I would stay here again if visiting Milan.

They forgot to put two towel sets in the room, so we only had one set the first morning. After we left the room we asked housekeeping for an extra set, they immediately got us a new one. The hotel is right in front of a subway station, from here you can reach the city center in 20/25 min. We will definitely stay here again!

There were concerns with our outbound flight, and they made every effort to acquire different travel arrangements, and even the 'worst case' scenario of additional stay if needs must. The room had a large shower and fridge with snacks and drink that were over priced if you drank or ate them. lol. But it was a clean nice room. The front desk spoke great English ( shame on me I don't speak any other language) so that was very helpful for us when we needed direction.
