Great location- right near the duomo and the piazza. There were plenty of places open to get drinks, food and desert at night. It was convenient to other areas such as the ponte vecchio, mercato centrale, galleria academia, the uffizi...etc. the hotel itself is very dated and has limited amenities. The air conditioning was unreliable and only worked for a few hours our first night. The room itself was old and had an aged smell, also small. Some redeeming qualities include the breakfast which offered typical European breakfast options - cold cuts, croissants, toasts, yogurt, cereal, juice. The staff was also very pleasant and helpful. You have to pay for wifi. read more
