The bathroom was small, but I loved the modern style. The breakfast buffet offers plenty of choice. The breakfast room opens into the pool area which provides a great atmospere during the breakfast, but on the other hand you have to bring yourself to go swimming while the other guests are having breakfast. I mean who wants to walk through the breakfast room dressed up in swimwear? But that's probably a matter of self-esteem ;-) I got up early in the morning and witnessed a beautiful sunrise, and watching the pool robot while it was cleaning was also fun. I'd totally recommend this hotel!

Next, the volume, guests were noisy and we were woken up numerous times in the night by sex noises next door and screaming, not family friendly place. Last, the restaurant food quality was disgusting, I suffered food poisoning from their lobster pasta dish as they served rotten lobster as their most expensive dish. I will not return to this hotel ever again, for over 1,000 euros, really pathetic and disappointing. This is not a 4 star hotel.

Don't let the surroundings with the beach front and location fool you because it's clearly outdated. Location: This is the only saving grace and the reason why I'm providing a "high rating". Once you get past the flights of stairs, you have an absolutely breathtaking view of the beach front from up top. In addition, a market that I believed is called the "Coop" is within walking distance. Beware, majority of local businesses close around 8 pm with the exception of the Coop that closes around 10 pm. Room: One word simply explains it, outdated. The bathroom is almost as big as the room itself and there is an odd step up to enter into the bathroom. The TV in the room is the only modern item and that's a far stretch as it's probably no bigger than a 15" Samsung flat screen. But then again, if you have an amazing beachfront, are you really going to watch the TV? Also bring your earplugs because the walls are paper thin!

She s an expat from Paris and that s where the name of the hotel came from. This is a great little mom and pop hotel. It s very comfortable and clean. It s located a few blocks away from the train station. That s a major plus if you re traveling by train. Nearby, you ll find a pizza place, a very good Chinese restaurant and a few small shops. It s a bit of a walk to downtown but we didn't mind at all since it s a super nice walk either by the beach front or the interior street with lots of small shops. We opted for the continental breakfast for a small fee. It s very simple and convenient. Also, a big plus is the air conditioning in each room. Keep that in mind for the summer season. Book directly with the hotel to get an even better deal than the ones you could find with the major travel sites. I understand they take quite a lot in fees. Bon voyage!

Rooms with great views #IbisStyle…read more The staff is super helpful & friendly. The 24hr coffee machine in the lobby is a special plus. Rooms are small, but you surely didn't come to Menton to stay in the room, right! Rooms are very clean, great A/C, comfy beds, but small amenities. Drawers or some other means of clothing storage would be nice. But, again, we're not here to waste our time in the room. Great location and overall, a wonderful place to stay.
Helpful staff, good location, clean rooms…read more This is a clean and convenient budget hotel. The staff is great; they are flexible, helpful, and engaging. We had a reservation for three people for three days, then two people for three more days. Toward the end of it, we realized that we'd need to make another reservation for two on a weekend; they set things up with very little notice. It's a good location: the hotel is a short walk from the beach. The hotel is a few minutes west of the city center and the tourist shops and restaurants--it's a quick walk, but you are away from all the people. Within a couple of blocks you can also find cafes, restaurants, bars, and groceries. There is a farmers market, too, and the train station is directly across the street: from there, you can jump on a train to Italy, Nice, Monaco, etc. The cons: if you are on the Rue Albert 1er side, it's loud. We were on the third floor, and I'm glad we weren't lower. You can hear everything: televisions in the apartments across the street, cars and scooters driving by (especially at 3 a.m.), the insane seabirds that like waking up at 4:00 a..m. and making as much noise as possible. You are also across the street from the train station, so you hear the trains.
