It is family owned ... So when you come you are welcomed as one of the family...which is nice for two homesick Americans. They have extensive grounds and they are well taken care of. Free parking onsite which is gated and closed after hours for security. Really nice pool area but it's only open from 0900 to 1800 so kind of limited unless you have nothing better to do besides lay by the pool all day. Even the local beaches have longer hours. Breakfast is good and has several options in the typical European breakfast choices. Coffee machine is stocked with excellent beans. Breakfast attendant wasn't very friendly or cheerful and the night desk manager was equally unfriendly but both were polite. Day manager was friendly and helpful. All the staff speaks English. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I definitely wouldn't leave valuables in your room as the maids unlock all the room doors while they are cleaning on the floor despite not having visibility of all the rooms. Anyone can enter a room when their busy and remove items without anyone knowing. It supposedly is a non-smoking property but guests smoke in the hallways and on the balconies. I shared a balcony with a separate room and the smoke drifted right into my room. For the area its probably the nicest hotel available and for the price it's good. It's not up to Marriott's standards but neither is the price. Overall it's a good deal.

The staff here at all hours is greatly helpful and kind. They have a great bar area with a pool table and make a great cappaccino. The hotel was clean and pretty landscape.

During breakfast, the owner was making the rounds taking to the guests that were visiting, which was something unique.
