Fresh coffee and pastry items delivered to your own personal cubby hole located in your room. 6. Daily cleaning EVEN if you use a "do not disturb" sign. 7. Large shower with shower condiments. 8. Friendly staff, do not be fooled that they understand everything you say in English even tho they may say they understand you. Many many a miscommunication issue. 9. The Mini Split works extremely well at keeping your room cool or even cold if you choose. 10. Felt safe and very comfortable here. 11. I cannot say it enough but..... THE VIEWS!!!! 12. The sunsets you will experience over the vastness of the ocean from your hotel room deck. 13. Small fridge that works once turned on/up via dial inside of the fridge upper left. 14. Large bottle of water left daily in room. A few tiny cons. 1.My safe battery keep dying and I was unable to get into my room safe two nights in a row even tho my batteries had been changed out twice. 2. I hung the "Do not disturb" sign when I had it & the staff still came in daily, cleaned made the bed, refolded towels ect. 3. We had called to ask about food options, we called a number listed for Hotel Las Brisas and we led to believe it was "all inclusive, food & drink" and to give our credit card right away to lock in a "deal". We obviously did not do this as the reservation had already been made and paid for prior. When checking in we asked about the food and drink "deal" and were told it was a scam. Please be wary as this is an ongoing issue and does not seem to be able to be solved by the organization that runs the real Hotel Las Brisas, as we told this had been going on for years by the front desk staff. 4. No flowers in our pool or bedrooms as shown in the older photos. I would highly recommend coming here.

Seriously I've stayed in alot of nice hotels and a lot of crappy ones and this one by far takes the cake. Let's start with breakfast. Breakfast with a view? How about breakfast full of swarming pest, and a view of the ocean? Try a view of none stop purple flowers!!! If you plan on seeing the ocean while you wait for breakfast, plan on standing up to see it. If you plan on eating food...don't! Unless you like it nice and cold, with absolutely zero seasoning, and I do mean ZERO. We were the first two people at the restaurant this morning and it took over an hour plus to get our food. TELL ME HOW DOES IT TAKE OVER AN HOUR PLUS WHEN WE WERE LITERALLY YOUR ONLY GUEST???? Next thing, Our room... Well we got their best room and it includes an infinity pool, extremely gorgeous...too bad you can't actually see the ocean from it though...why do you ask? Purple freaking flowers!!!! ...Why would anyone intentionally advertise this as ocean view if the only way you can see the ocean from literally any spot in this room is if you stand up to see it? Next issue...if you are a female stay away because this room is extremely extremely dark. The only lights is a blue light. We knocked over a glass bc we couldn't see what we were doing. 5 hours later it still wasn't cleaned up. (It's now 1:34am) We asked for lamps...5.5hrs later (currently as I'm writing this) they still haven't brought them up. Wow! I have never seen a hotel that charges over $700/usd per night with this kind of service. This is beyond ridiculous. ...and as if that was enough now the speakers in our room are on full blast with an extreme buzzing sound and there doesn't appear like there is a way to fix it. Stay away! (Bc instead of actually fixing them guess what he just unplugged them so now the tv has no speakers. Priceless. Perfect example of gold star standard I guess ) See photo of our almost 2am visit from maintenence below! I would never come back here even if they paid us. We check out on the 1st to go to Bayan Tree and let me tell you I wish it was tomorrow! NEVER AGAIN. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS HELL HOLE. ***Edit - 10:28am Housekeeper continues to knock on door after told no over 10 times. She still opens door anyway. She sees us in bed and leaves. But guess what? She leaves the door OPEN and completely UNLOCKED. Unbelievable!!! What if someone was a female alone in this room or our passports and valuables were out???? All our stuff could have easily been stolen or worse, someone could have just came right in and done whatever they wanted. This is a foreign country. Unbelievable. Just unfreaking believable!

First official review in Mexico!…read more I have been coming to Acapulco for many years for many reasons, and I keep coming back to the Crowne Plaza. Why? because they have the most sweetest staff! Doesn't matter if it has been a year or two since your last visit they will remember you! It feels like you have never left, this is my home away from home. For the most part the check-in staff are nice and speak English enough to get you checked in and ready to start your vacation. I upgraded to a Bahia suite on the 26th floor and loved it! The view is unbelievable! Seeing that sunset every night, was picture perfect. The room is very specious and comes with a mini fridge which is handy to have, especially after a long day in the sun, nice cold water hits the spot! We always go All Inclusive because is it the best way to go and doesn't cost that much extra. For all the drinks you can drink and the food you can eat, I think it is worth it even if the food turns out to be not so good. You still have your drinks for free and the drinks are expensive if you have to buy them and the money adds up. The waiters are great if you tip them, tips always get you better service. We love the Italian restaurant. There are alot of mixed reviews about Acapulco, but I think the Crowne Plaza is perfectly fine.

The property was a bit dated by current standards, but they are actively renovating the Fiesta Americana and many of the other hotels along the downtown strip. Food was consistently good and inexpensive. Many restaurants, even sushi and Italian food. Main advantage of this area is access to a beautiful, calm beach. Main disadvantage is that loud music goes on until 3 am most every night.

You can open the screen doors and let the fresh air in. The A.C worked good. The water worked just perfect. It was just more than what i expected. They have a restaurant (which i didn't try) the pool is beautiful facing the beach. You can litterly walk to the beach from the hotel. The staff were very friendly. They had a man singing at nights in the bar area. The beers we're 50pesos and cocktails 84pesos. There are restaurants, bars and stores near by I will definitely stay here again.

The food is exquisitely hand made, luxuriously arrayed, and so delicious. The beach is impeccably clean, the ocean temperature is perfect. The lazy river is surrounded by lazy tropical wildlife all around, so delightful! Two days ago my son slipped at the pool and needed stitches. That could have been a catastrophe, but they have first rate doctor services right here in the hotel, and he was fixed up right away, and given pain medicine, all for $44 total! Every day here has been an absolute dream. The 3 room suite with a fresh water pool on the balcony overlooking both ocean and city is incredible!! FIVE STARS, AND THANK YOU GRAND MAYAN!!!!

It was still a five star experience and will most definitely return with our extended family. The service at this resort is top-notch. Every single staff is so attentive and friendly. Their service can't be beaten. We had a spectacular private tour of the city by Baldo and his driver, Daniel. Baldo was born and raised in Acapulco and was a history teacher for 10 years before becoming a tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about the city and its history. We had a blast with them and would recommend them for your next tour, as well. Ask for him at the taxi stand at the resort!!
