The internal, courtyard-facing room was quiet, a blessing considering the construction noise on the external side. For the price, however, the room is too small, accommodating not even a reading chair. (A slightly smaller bathroom would have yielded a far more comfortable room.) Also not expected was the malodorous sewer gas from the bathroom sink (also encountered at the Hotel Ripa Roma). Is that a flaw in the Italian sanitation system? There is also a spa with saunas as well as a fitness room with the standard equipment including 2 treadmills, a rower, an elliptical, and 2 bikes along with complimentary still and sparkling waters (canned). Since we had an early flight we decided to take advantage of room service and enjoyed breakfast in our sitting room. They can reserve fixed price taxis to both Linate and Malpensa (120 euros for Malpensa, while reserving an Uber in advance would have been about 145) airports.
