Unfortunately it's too noisy due to the trains, people hanging around late by the station and so on. For what we paid for a room here it was poor value for money. We had a room next to the street and as it was really warm forcing us to keep the window open. Till late into the morning we had traffic noise, party goers, people playing music and chatting etc. That meant we had very little sleep after a full day of walking. Breakfast was ok here and staff were generally quite helpful. Beds were ok and the room was functional and clean. Breakfast was charged separately at €7 pp and extra charges for the dog. I may come back here again.

I want to be very fair about my review and not blame them for things out of their control, such as…read morethe next door church ringing bells EVERY morning at 6:50am (and continuing ever 30 mins) or the lack of air conditioning. They could put screens on the windows so you could get some air and not be eaten alive by mosquitoes all night, that would be helpful. So I don't blame them for this but it was awful. What I do blame them for is walking in my room 3x AS they knocked. First time we forgot the privacy sign so I would forgive for that one had they knocked THEN entered. The second time was the day of our NOON checkout. They entered the room the first time at about 8:50am. They woke me up and startled me. I was very jet lagged I should say. Then they did it again at 10:30am. Both times the sign was up, both times she barged in AS she knocked. There is no way to lock doors from the inside so they apparently just enter at will. If you do want to stay here, you have to be ok with sleeping hot. If you open the windows to get some nice, cool air, prepare for the bells and the mosquitos. Be ready to leave by 8am or they'll let you know it's time to leave by walking in multiple times. The rooms are clean and pretty, food is good, beds are super firm and uncomfortable. You couldn't pay me to stay here again. I would pay double to be able to sleep! I need to add that as I walked out of the room BOTH housekeepers were literally sitting in chairs right beside our room waiting for us to leave. I've never seen anything like this is my life. It was 45 mins prior to checkout. They are beyond rude! Took another start off for the stalking at the end.
