Most Mexicans know her for her role as advisor and judge on several cooking shows, but the locals in the San Blas area know her for the fantastic food her restaurant serves night after night. Our family and friends have had the privilege eating here for the last 14 years, and I can honestly say that it's one of the best restaurants we have encountered world wide. Mexican fusion at it's best, at a third of the price in my home town of Seattle.
The wine list is small, but offers some well priced gems from Valle de Guadalupe, a very good region in the mountains of the northern Baja.
Julio, our excellent waiter for the past 14 years, also makes the best margarita you will find. Start with that and finish with his excellent espresso. You can't go wrong!
It's the only opportunity you will have in the Riviera Nayarit to feast on the offerings of a Cordon Blu trained chef. Don't miss it!
