The staff is exceptional and pays attention to every detail with joy, warmth, and enthusiasm. They made our stay wonderful and we will always remember our time here. We had breakfast here, which was a pretty standard continental breakfast. And also had paid for a bagged lunch to bring with us on our hike which had plenty of food for us. Shops, restaurants, pubs and Mont Blanc is also just a short walk away. In an older building rooms are a bit small but if you are in town to ski they are ideal. I think all rooms fit two in either two singles or one double arrangement with a desk, chair and closet. Don't miss the impressive granite staircase on the way to your room. Bathroom is large in comparison and seems to be almost half the size of the room. Shower is a bit tight but has great pressure. Drying rack in the bathroom comes in handy for spring skiing. Breakfast each morning was 10 Euros from 7:30-10 am. No hot food but still well worth it as we took advantage of it each day. Staff is both knowledgable and very friendly as you would expect for a small hotel. Parking is limited but they do have 4 spaces for guests. I had parking throughout my stay. Struggled to find it with my GPS. As you come in from the parking lot is a loop with dead end. The hotel is down the dead end alley adjacent to the parking barrier but over your shoulder. Wouldn't hesitate to come here again!

We loved the boutique vibe, the decor and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast every morning was the same, but a nice variety. The bar/lounge area was comfortable and there were nice apre ski snacks every day. There is a car shuttle which they will use to take you to the bus stop, dinner or into town (though town is literally 3 minutes from the hotel.) My only suggestion would be to have a ski shuttle which could take guests to the various mountains--La Tour is a 40 minute bus ride and its an 8 minute walk to the bus stop with your skis, boots etc. Overall, a lovely hotel in a good location.

Most are…read moredorm type - with singles/doubles, and multiple bunk beds - and shared bathroom/shower in the hallways. But rooms are clean, and the shared facilities as well (the downstairs showers are supposed to be better). We had a small corner room with two windows, nice views of the idyllic green hilly surroundings, very bare with just a double bed and a sink (a plus as not all rooms have that). Bed is rather soft and the pillows are totally flat. Hotel's on a hill so climbing up the steps to this place is seriously strenuous, especially at the end of the hiking day. Wifi almost nonexistent, can't get any at all in our room. You are required to take your hiking boots off and leave them in a cavernous room with cubby holes as boots are not allowed inside, which is a huge hassle. There is a small restaurant, nice outdoor seating with good views of the scenic surroundings. For the group dinner everyone can get seconds. Homey and simple meal of puréed veggie soup, chicken (I got a drumstick, others got various other cuts) with fries and ratatouille, dessert a scoop of ice cream. Breakfast also pretty simple, but just one croissant each, too bad no seconds, as it was one of the best croissants so far.

The location is prime - right in Chamonix and there is a hot tub and spa that I heard were quite nice. They provide a complementary breakfast in the morning that includes a variety of yogurts and cereals, several different types of fantastic fresh bread, lots of fruit, eggs, ham, coffee, and juices. It is one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Plus they provide tea and cookies in the later afternoon. Although the rooms are small, I found them beyond adequate. They provide bathrobes and slippers, provide soaps, shampoo, and lotions, and have nice bathtubs in the room. Our showerhead was one of those rain showerheads, which I really enjoyed. Plus, the free wifi works in the rooms. My only warning is to tall people - the ceilings are slanted and quite short, making it difficult for the tall gentleman on my trek. Even I bumped my head a few times getting into the bathroom, and I'm only 5'6"!
