I did a road trip to Giorgia to visit my daughter. I chose this hotel because it seemed nice. I booked and paid in advance. I was still charged four lodging fees totaling over $1000. Above what I had paid. All different fees. While staying I did call the front desk asking about the fees. I was put on hold and left there. I had to hang up. After communicating with the hotel, Maneger was supposed to reach out to me to explain why I was charged. He never did. Still waiting for four refunds. He definitely needs to improve communications with costumers. Through I did explain to them I was still having to drive back to California with limited funds after staying in the hotel. Hotel is pretty and my room was nice. But the bed did smell dirty like it was washed with no laundry soap. After cleaning service reached are room. The floor wasn't cleaned. The bar on the 7th floor costumer service was great also the restaurant on the first floor. Valet also was great. The bar on the first floor the bartender she seemed like she didn't want to serve my husband and I. When asking questions about drinks she would just say that's all we have. Will not stay there again and do not recommend. read more

Great hotel overall. Staff were very nice and hospitable. I used the gym, rooftop bar and outdoor pool area. I had a snack from the front desk (little area behind the desk). They have done in options if you don't want to leave the hotel, but also super close to walk to restaurants with ~5 minute walk. Super pretty view of the river and love the rooftop bar. I stay at the indigo every year to do a job for Aflac. There is an employee named Victor, who is the best. On our anniversary he secured us a table on the rooftop bar restaurant where there are no reservations. There are no tables that are held for people. But somehow Victor got us the a table and the A server to take care of us. It seemed like every time we turned around Victor was there to say what can I do.? The rest of the staff is spectacular. The hotel rooms are small, but they all have a view of the Chattahoochee river, which is priceless. there is a bartender with the most beautiful hair in the world and she also takes great care of us plus Micheal and the front desk staff had packages delivered and other things done throughout the week because we were working and we would always come back to a perfect hotel if you go to Columbus Georgia stay at the indigo read more

I stayed here a while back while attending a conference, and was very pleased. It is a newer facility, right on the River, in a nice area. Indigo's are dog friendly, w a substantial fee. There is a very nice bar on the roof overlooking the River The walking trail along the river is a highlight. Easy parking, very nice staff, good restaurants close by read more

The design is cute. I enjoy the color scheme. The location is convenient. With restaurants and a scenic river within walking distance, it's really nice. We had to park in the parking garage across the street and walk over. When we got to our room, one thing I see is that it is a conjoining room. Not a fan of it at all since there could be a chance that I may have some loud neighbors. A funny foreshadow to this night was that this room came with complimentary ear plugs. These walls are pretty thin and you can hear people having regular conversation out in the hallway. We are only here for one day and what I find incredibly frustrating that around midnight I'm hearing people cheer and scream out in the hallway overpowering my white noise playlist. I call the front desk to inquire about noise complaints and was told that the bar just closed and to give it till 12:30. I have to be up in 6 hours.... Shame on the guests for not being considerate of others. I paid over 200$ to sleep here, why do I have to wait until after midnight to sleep peacefully? After I made my complaint, the front desk person knocked on my door and then called my room because I didn't answer. 1. It's late and them calling back/knocking on my door was never agreed upon. 2. My noise cancelling playlist overpowered that knock. The phone was so loud that it took an additional 2 hours for me to fall back asleep. When I worked at a hotel and it's late, I always asked my guest what they are comfortable with for an update/follow up. Never assume. So while this is a cute building, noise cancellation was not a priority. I could have slept in my car and would've had a better night than this. read more

ve stayed at this hotel twice a year since 2023 and continue to choose it because the facilities are consistently clean, the staff is generally welcoming, and the river views are beautiful--especially at sunset. Overall, it's a comfortable and reliable place to stay. One issue I've experienced, however, involves room service hours. The hotel advertises room service availability until 10:00 p.m., but on a recent visit I was told the last call was 9:30 p.m., and later informed there was a "kitchen issue" with no manager available to clarify. The mixed messages were frustrating and didn't align with the posted hours. I hope management reviews this so the service matches what is advertised, because otherwise the hotel provides a very enjoyable experience. read more

You could respect reservations made on your main line. It took us 45 minutes to make a reservation with a certificate we had purchased at a silent auction. Once all had been cleared and confirmed with multiple people, we get to the hotel and they won't honor the reservation. Then they offer to let us pay 400$ for the night or they will cancel the reservation "without penalty". Just insane. Bar didn't have ingredients for "signature drink" at 5:30 pm. Customer service no help. Never have I seen this level of incompetence. read more

Only 1 stars for the view. As I was eating a couple brought a large (not service) dog around our food and drinks. The dog licked my table while I was eating and it was allowed by staff. The bartender began petting the dog and without washing her hands proceeded to make drinks and squeeze liked with her bare hands. This place is nice to enjoy a view but steer clear from the overpriced food and drinks without proper sanitation. This is after serval visits to this location. read more

My husband and I traveled to Columbus to visit family for NYE 2023. We decided to stay at Hotel Indigo because other family members were staying there. Check-in was easy. The staff were very friendly. The rooms are nice, spacious, and provide a little history of Columbus on the walls. My husband went to the bathroom to wash his face before heading out for NYE. As he's washing his face, he shrieks so loud from the bathroom. A long strand of curly hair, that was on the rag, ended up in his mouth. He was completely disgusted and immediately called the front desk. The staff was very understanding and offered us complimentary breakfast. The next morning, we go downstairs to enjoy breakfast before checkout. I ordered the brisket and eggs. As I am taking my third or fourth bite, I notice a short, curly hair in my eggs. Had to be an eyelash or other facial hair. I'm completely disgusted and notify the server, who notifies her manager. The manager offers to remake the entree and comp the meal. We tell the manager the irony of finding hair in the already comped meal because of the hair from the previous night. The manager was super apologetic. I had to get my second order to go because of the 11 AM checkout time. The brisket in the remake was super tough and overcooked. Did not enjoy at all. Really hate that we started 2024 with this horrible, hairy experience!! I am from Columbus and rarely get to travel home. The staff are great, and I'm sure the rooftop bar makes the hotel super classy. HOWEVER, double check your towels and food. Cleanliness needs to be addressed. read more

I just left the hotel I was staying for a week and Kimberly, Maureen,Keisha were so helpful. They have free bike rentals. Every morning before work I went on a bike ride around the beautiful Riverwalk. After that, I took a dip in the pool that was perfect temperature. The hotel was extremely nice. The rooms are spacious and in a great and upcoming location. If i was visiting under better circumstances and it wasn't winter I would have a chance to explore the riverfront and local area. The staff was extremely friendly and accomadating when we had to add an extra day and change rooms for a handicap accessible room. The only downside to the hotel is that restaurants menus are limit and the options are not good. The phones in our room didn't work and the bathroom could have use a deep cleaning. But it was clean. I do recommend staying at this location. read more

I took my staff to Denim and Oak in December 2025 for our holiday party. The restaurant was mainly empty when we were there, one or two other tables during prime dinner booking hours. I stayed at the hotel after the dinner since the celebration ended late. The restaurant server never informed us that gratuity was already added to the bill, despite our small party. So I naturally added gratuity and this was never adjusted. On my hotel bill, the dinner was charged, and I ended up paying twice. After a long visit with the assistant manager onsite, as well as an email from the general manager, the situation remains unresolved as the hotel holds onto quite a large amount, and declines to compensate me for the time and hassle of being double charged unfairly. I want others to be aware, and personally, I will not be returning to this establishment, for business or pleasure, ever in the future. Buyer beware. read more

What went well, almost everything. Great room, top floor away from the elevator as I have in my preferences. Everyone greeted me as a Platinum Elite customer/member. Steve, a manager came over to chat while I was at the main floor bar, great guy. Four of us had dinner, only one person drinking (‍) and the bill was $185. Two had the filet-excellent-one had stuffed quail so I would expect a buck eighty five. The hotel, like all Indigo's is a great reflection of the city, so the decor is textile mill, military and coca-cola. The rooftop bar, something 1885 was a blast. Embra was working both nights I stayed there and she was awesome! Such fun. Now the bad but not so much, when I left my room the door lock was loose and moved just enough to prevent the door from opening so I couldn't get into my room. Fortunately Steve came up, told me to go back to the bar and Embra was told to give me a beer on him. Within 15 minutes I was in the room. So not really bad, more like shit happens. Loved the place, will only stay there when in Columbus and as my Son in Law is stationed at Ft. Moore chances are good. read more

Absolutely superior comfortable rooms with dope designs. The staff all seem happy to be working there. That attitude goes a LONG way and I wonder if other hotels know this. We only stayed one night and it was really worth it. I don't need The W or Ritz Carlton. This IHG member does excellent in its own right. You get a great view of the Chattahoochee, a modern downtown that is growing. Indigo has 2 restaurants and a bar, all on their own floors. We got breakfast at the lobby level restaurant and it was top shelf. Separate review coming for that. Come to Columbus and stay a day and do the Riverwalk! read more

I really want to give this hotel 5-stars but I can't. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is very friendly, and the location and views are amazing. Now for the negative: the hotel restaurant is way over priced, stay away from rooms 200 through 204, it sounds like people are working out in your bathroom. We were woken up at 6:00am with someone sprinting on the treadmill. Then about 6:30am, someone kept dropping weights on the floor. We'd recommend a room on the 4th floor above. read more

Great hotel good atmosphere great location for Columbus. I'm stationed at Ft Benning and was celebrating getting married to my great wife. Went for a nice night out and drove my 81 VW Rabbit Truck. I asked the valet driver whether or not he could drive a manual, he said "You mean a stick, yeah I'm good for it" and I gave him the keys. Later that day I got my car back had a dinner reservation and tried to put it into first gear, noticing right away a serious bend in the shifter, the car immediately went backwards. I limped the car to dinner and called the hotel reporting what had happened. Again talking to the staff that evening and that following morning they said it would be handled and taken care of and "that man is not allowed allowed to drive a manual he doesn't know how" this was not true. The Valet insurance, Gallagher Basset, is a horrible company to deal with Specifically Stephanie Javier, she rare my responds to calls or emails and informed me that they were denying liability for the incident. The manger and valet manager both state he should not have been driving the car and I am told the driver himself admitted he was at fault. I don't know what the disconnect is but I will never be staying at a IHG hotel again solely because of the Valet service. read more

Stay here! Gorgeous hotel, nice staff, excellent location and comfortable rooms. We had a few little maintenance issues that were quickly resolved. They had a nice selection of kcups in our room but they were undrinkable because the coffee maker was cheap and resulted in coffee grinds in the coffee, yuck. But they had complimentary coffee in the lobby so that was appreciated. Knocking off one star due to cheap coffee maker, those need replaced ASAP. I loved the river view from our room. The rooftop bar also was a nice place to visit. Good service and delicious food. The pool is kind of squeezed into the space but it was aesthetically well-done. Maid service is upon request but it was easy enough to get anything you needed. I also loved being so close to all the restaurants and bars, just a couple blocks away. We paid for the valet as street parking was a little too far away due to construction in the area. But the valets were very quick and the price wasn't too bad. We would definitely stay here again. read more

This is a beautiful property in a perfect location near downtown on the Chatahoochee River. The staff are very helpful, but it suffers from being understaffed, and service suffers a lot. My wife and I just stayed there for 5 nights, and there was NO housekeeping service at all for 3 of those. That means no towels, no bed service or sheet change, no coffee or cups in the room, and no toilet paper in the room. When asked, the lady at the front desk was very nice and accommodating, giving us cups, keurig coffee and TP, but she commented they had only one housekeeper for the entire hotel. We talked to the manager about this, and he was cordial and listened to us, but just commented they had a staffing problem. I would give this hotel 5 stars for the facility, but only 1 star for management. read more

Beautiful new hotel on the banks of the Chattahoochee River at the rapids. Service was very friendly and welcoming. GM was downstairs this morning to set the standard for the day and be visible for his team. Service and menus (breakfast and dinner) were terrific. Both meals were chef-quality and the evening menu features included local items and freshly made burrata, fresh tomatoes, yummy Stone Fruit and Spinach salad with pork belly "croutons" and a fresh redfish with tomato risotto. The first floor bar is well appointed and the 1885 bar on the rooftop is definitely one of Columbus' places to "be seen". This property and its restaurants get a High Five read more

Terrible. I stayed with my parents at this place 2 times. Once on the way to Florida & once on the way home from Florida during the month of December 2023. The staff is INCREDIBLY rude, unhelpful & non-accommodating. I use a wheelchair & the parking valet almost ran over me when he needed to get HIS vehicle into a spot. my parents had requested an early check in & was told that then, even though it was 3 pm the room wasn't ready. customer service seems very low on their priority as it was not logical to clean a room in which an early check in is requested. I require personal care so it's a health concern & not just some willynilly request. We were made to wait in the lobby for over an hour. By the way smiling, as opposed to starring is acceptable if you are looking at a person in a wheelchair. In regards to the cleaning, it does not occur under the dresser drawers. The room was very dusty. The roll in shower spills water out into the living area making it a slipping hazard. We did speak with the front desk clerk who was very unfriendly & referred us to the manager who seemed to be mainly yucking it up with other managerial types. Will not be staying here again & will tell anyone who asks how bad this place truly sucked. Being nearly run over by a valet parking attendant is not what I am looking for in an overnight stay at any hotel. read more

Rooms were so nice, soaps and showers were so amazing and the beds were comfy I got a great nights sleep. Everything was so nice about the hotel until the food. We ordered breakfast (oatmeal and coffee) and it took maybe 25-30 minutes and they don't do ice coffee, expresso, lattes or any milk substitutes so they just gave us ice and filled my cup 1/4 of the way up with black coffee. The oatmeal was cold and not good. Service was so mediocre and on top of all that it cost nearly $20! read more

Just Stayed at hotel Indigo in Columbus Georgia for a Friday night stay booked two rooms on points nice little gift bag with coupons for a free drink and breakfast this is where it gets interesting hotel is nice clean etc although forced to valet park due to very limited customer parking anyway I am mobility restricted due to combat injuries and have Parkinsons and diabetes all this means I have a lot of medication that must be taken with food so it was nice to get the free coupon for breakfast so I go down at 915 Saturday morning to eat and was told that they could not seat me as they were only serving guests that had a reservation to stay that night and I was refused service I went to the concierge at the front desk and was told rudely that Saturday morning was their busiest morning and he could not help me even after I explained about my medications I asked to speak to the manager and was told he was not available I asked for his card and the concierge could not locate one by this point I'm feeling light headed and had to call the wife to come downstairs and get the car and take me to get some food. VERY upsetting and we then had to rush to check out ruined a anniversary weekend read more

The room was nice overall, but it's unfortunate our issue was with one of the hostesses at the rooftop entrance for the NYE Celebration party. She was a brunette, hair pinned up, black dress with sequin top, maybe average height, and small frame; she asked for my fiancés card to pay, which he had the funds & it was crazy expensive to get in anyway but she came back and said his card was declined which was a lie. The demographic was not diverse & seemed a bit older, music wasn't real loud; maybe she felt we would be loud or unruly. After she said our card was declined the other lady said let them in since it was after 11pm but I already got a bad vibe and was ready to go back to the room. So whatever the reason we didn't get a chance to see how the rooftop bar was for new year's eve. read more

My wife and I went to the roof top bar for drinks and food. We were seated at the bar and sat there for 15 minutes and not one bartender or waiter/waitress once acknowledged us. We had to get the attention of who I believe to be the general manager to get service, with 3 servers standing right in front of us . It's unfortunate that several other people was served before us even though we were there before them. I am native to Columbus and I really hate to say this but I was one of two black men in the area , my wife Hispanic.... I should be shocked but I'm not. Every single staff member I encountered was amazing. The customer service can't be beat. The view was gorgeous. The drinks were a nice heavy pour and the food was delicious. The only thing I would change... dig up that pool and build a better one, you can't even swim in that thing. Left checkbook and $250 I'd just taken out of bank for my son in vehicle when we turned our vehicle over to a valet handing him $10. After giving the vehicle to the valet services at the Indigo and upon entering the room remembered the money. Decided not to inconvenience valet by going to get car so, son sent us both messages to check first thing in morning. We put our faith in the service. My son checked the console, our envelope and money was gone! Gut drop! Was it the valet? I had felt funny even leaving my jacket that time. Did they lock my car in the parking garage? The management told me to make a police report. How fun. Told me they could not reimburse from any of their funds. Just be aware and unfortunately, you have to strip your car and carry everything in it up to the room if you want to see it again. I highly doubt they will catch the valet on camera, they know where they are! My 16 year old says he will never trust a valet service. I wish this was not our experience but, needed to let others know because no one wants a bad cloud on a trip somewhere. Last night, a waitress dropped a drink on my pants leg when my son and I ate top deck. They gave me a free drink, I just could not move around to socialize like that felt self conscious with that amount of drink on my clothes. We paid for our meal and left. So, the hotel clientele was nice, I recognized some employees from other establishments in the past now working there, good ones, the view is nice on top but, I really hate this is the experience we have to take away. read more

This is hard to rate because the hotel is great. Rooms are clean. Hallways are clean. Sheets and towels are clean. Bathroom is wonderfully cleaned. Staff are very professional and have good mannerism. The down side: No parking anywhere, so it is mandatory to use valet parking. I'm a nurse and live local so after working 60 hrs this week I wanted to relax. 0600 AM the banging from the construction starts. There are no other rooms available. The room we have is a handicapped room because the one we booked was not available because someone extended their stay. Needless to say I at home writing this review. Paid 200+ dollars/night for 2 nights. I received an apology and explanation that this is the FIRST time they've done construction on the weekend. I guess I'll sleep when I die. read more
