This could have been a 5 star review, but alas the hotel was not built well. Not surprised that there is zero soundproofing in ceiling. The person above me has been stomping around since 2:45 am and it is now 11:00 am. I called the front desk three times and went down there two hours ago. On my second call in the middle of the night The night shift worker told me they never answered the phone. So basically they wipe their hands clean of it and do nothing, I'm clueless as to what you can possibly be doing in a hotel room that causes that much noise. So, I stayed here two weeks ago when I first flew into Texas. the hotel is nice and new, the pool was warm and beautiful. I decided to book again and upgraded to a suite for three nights. The suite is beautiful. Would have been a 5 star stay and review. I'm on night two, and I am not happy. I joined IHG rewards upon arrival of this trip and guess that also means nothing. Usually I don't blame the hotel for noise of inconsiderate jerk off guests; however this was not usual noise this was out of control and in the middle of the night. Oh yea, and let me add that when I checked in the first time the guy gave me the keys to a room that was already occupied.... I let that slide because I enjoyed the hotel and slept well on that night. Very sad I can't say the same now, maybe I shouldn't have rebooked. ****UPDATE to lose the last star... my husband asked to switch rooms which is strange they didn't offer that when I first talked to the front desk. They were actually able to accommodate us but not the friendliest of customer service ... however the noise hasn't stopped. The banging around and footsteps is actually unreal to me. We are on the top floor (4) how can I still hear all of this?? My 9 year old stepdaughter also hears all of it. Trying to sleep, it's 1030 PM why is there banging!!! There is absolutely NO insulation and the walls and laminate floors sound hollow. This actually makes me SO SAD. I chose this hotel (didn't have any noise issue the first night!! Guess nobody was here and they tricked me into thinking this hotel was awesome) as it is away from freeway noise and nothing really around it. I thought it was perfect and it LOOKS perfect. It is not :( :( :( :(

I was surprised when I pulled up to this hotel. It's set farther back from the highway, nestled between an apartment complex and nearby car dealership. It has a small walking trail behind it overlooking a man made pond. They do have a restaurant inside but I didn't venture into it for food as the menu wasn't appealing to me. Rooms are spacious. Lots of outlets all over the room including the desk area which was great for remote working. A/c is strong and cold! Shower water pressure is ok enough. As many people have said before the level of noise you can hear from rooms around you is atrocious. You can hear snores, sneezes and all the convos being had. Not sure if it wasn't built w proper insulation or what but it's definitely not a feeling of having much privacy. I will say I was so surprised and happy to find a community microwave by the elevators since there is not one in the room. Otherwise a great stay, no complaints, very close to many great places to eat and go do.

One of my close friends was getting married nearby so she got a block of rooms for friends and family. My friends group and I decided to get some rooms so we could enjoy the night and not worry about driving home late at night. I got there slightly early on the day of the wedding hoping to get checked in early so I can get fresh and dressed at the hotel. I was checked in with no hesitation and even given a goodie bag since I am a IHG One Rewards member as well. One of the bridesmaids left a package for me with the front desk and the employee remembered my name and gave it to me as well. Customer service was top notch! This is a fairly new property and you can tell. It smells so fresh and clean when you walk in. The lobby is tastefully decorated and there is a restaurant/bar right off from the lobby. The room itself was really nice and clean. The beds were still in tip top shape. The water pressure was a little low but not a deal breaker. They have soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower so no need to bring your own. It is stocked with great product as well. When we got back from the wedding, we wanted to keep the party going, so we basically took over the pool area and just relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The pool was heated so lots of tired feet got soaked that night. We also sat around the fire pit since it was a cool night. All in all, I did not hear one complaint about this place. I would stay here again for sure!

Hotel is nice! There were a few things I did not like such as the cleanliness of the bathroom. The tissue flowers are a nice touch but they seemed the they had been 'recycled' a few times. The pictures on the wall were dirty with white splash marks. The gym had a tv mount on he wall with no tv. The cardio equipment had an option to watch tv on the screen of each piece of equipment but none worked. There was also no sanitizer to use to wipe equipment. The room was nice and the view of the water from the fourth floor matched.

All the ash and cig butts.

Need some tweak. Housekeeping must not have a checklist as every day they omit 1 thing. Empty trash, replace coffee tea supplies, day 3 of back up toilet paper. Wipe counters, vacuum. Tuesday found cig butts on patio, Thursday asked reception for the area to be swept, she did notify housekeeping, dog trying to eat butts. The photo was taken this morning Saturday

If you're in Spring, Texas and looking for a place to stay, don't hesitate to stay here. This hotel was just opened last November. It is brand new. Everything is pristine. I had a wedding in this part of town and wanted to be close to the venue. I was not only pleased with having a room here, but I was verrrry pleased with the cost. From the moment you walk in the door, you'll be greeted by friendly faces and a big Texas welcome. Hi Maurice!!! This hotel has pretty much everything you need to survive while traveling. I'm talking about a clean room to stay, daily maid service, room service, a bar, a dining room, a pool and a mini store where you can purchase necessities like deodorant or a razor. The room was spacious- I had a double Queen - the bathroom was top notch the bed was extremely comfy. The bar was accommodating when I purchased 3 bottles of champagne in celebration. Thanks Ashley for your help with setting that up!!! The pool area was clean and had pergolas for your party or chaise lounges for sunning, even tables and chairs to accommodate your hungry party. The dining room food was cooked by a restaurant named Crudos. Let me tell you the breakfast and dinner menu's were absolutely top notch food. Everything was freshly made and plentiful. One more note... Hotel Indigo is also located close to a grocery store and other restaurants, if the need arises. This hotel is where I'm gonna stay from here on out now that I have newly formed relatives!

Lakeside Affordable Resort-Like Hotel! I chose this hotel for a staycation for New Year's Eve. I wanted a little getaway that was close by and this was perfect and an amazing value for the price! Here's the details from my experience: Pros * Lakeside - I wanted to be near water and the hotel has a lake at the rear and a short walking trail alongside it. * Lake view room without extra cost - I was able to get a room with a lake view without an upcharge. * Quiet - it is secluded and off the beaten path making it very quiet, which was what I was looking for. * Heated pool - my first day was in the low 70s so I and a few other guests were able to enjoy the heated pool. Such a nice feature for the winter time! You could see the steam coming off of it and it was definitely warmer than lukewarm, almost like a large hot tub. * Fire pit - guests can turn on the fire pit themselves at any time and I loved this feature and used it both day and night just to relax and also do some journaling. * Microwave on 3rd floor - this was a great feature that I wish more nicer hotels had. I get that most nicer hotels don't have them in all the rooms, but just simply having access to one was really convenient. * Restaurant - the onsite restaurant had great food and the chef was accommodating to my good requests. * Happy Hour - I didn't get to join the Happy Hour but thought it was nice that they had it. * Text concierge - a few minutes after I arrived, I received a text from the concierge asking how everything was and if I had any questions. I thought this was great and saved me time going to the front desk every time I had a question! * Late check out at 2pm - as an IHG rewards member, they let me have late check out when I checked in, so I got to really enjoy my last day without being rushed. I appreciated that they let me do it in advance vs having to call the same day as check out as some places do. Just know that your keys automatically disable at 11am, so you'll need to go to the front desk to have them reactivate them if you're going in and out. * Owners are kind people - I happened to meet the 2 hotel owners when I was there for New Year's Eve. They were very nice and asked me how my food and stay was and if there was anything they could do to make it better. I appreciated that they cared and asked for my feedback. * Very different from Hotel Indigo in The Galleria in terms of vibe - I thought they'd be similar but this one is more inspired by Spanish Mission style architecture and is a little more sophisticated than the more casual nautical style that the Galleria location has. Cons * Restaurant not open during lunch hours - restaurant was closed from 10am after breakfast to 5pm for dinner. This didn't bother me and I planned around it by ordering a pizza to go with my dinner on the 1st night to put in the refrigerator in the room and warm up in the microwave on the 3rd floor. * No complimentary water in room - I brought my own, so this didn't bother me either and there's bottles available for purchase in the lobby. * I wish there were blocks or stepping stones for crossing from the hotel to the walking trail. It would be easier than walking through the grass and trying not to step on dog droppings but not a huge deal. I loved everything about my stay and have already recommended it to family and friends and will definitely be back myself!

Eating breakfast by the lake area.

Hotel was very very clean, staff was friendly and very nice to speak with. Pricing was amazing. Nice pool area and lake to eat breakfast by early in the morning, would definitely recommend and will stay again in the future.

Awesome bed and pillows in this new and modern hotel. Blackout curtains and a great view. Modern amenities as the end tables have plugs for phone chargers. The bathroom is well appointed with delta shower fixtures. What a great room and nice employees. *Edit... looking closer at the bathroom, it appears that housekeeping hasn't cleaned the shower and several hairs were visible. The body wash that is complementary wasn't filled and I had to go fish one out of another room since the night clerk was too busy... Unacceptable.

Stayed here only 1 night. It's located right behind the Lexus dealership. There is a restaurant that serves all meals, no buffet or continental breakfast. Kinda off the beaten path, there are no restaurants nearby or in walking distance. You will drive or UberEats if you don't like the restaurant. Yes, room service is offered from the restaurant. The best thing I love about the room is the A/C is central and not a loud window unit. Also, the shower comes w/a a hand held shower head.

Beautiful boutique hotel! My teenage daughter and I recently enjoyed a weekend away and fell in love with this hotel. It's conveniently located and easy to get to. The rooms are very clean, well decorated and has the most luxurious bed! Heather was the manager on duty and was very friendly and attentive. She went above and beyond to make our girls weekend very special. Keith was the bartender who shows his passion for mixology. He made my daughter several "mocktails" and made her feel very special. Amber made check in/out a breeze. The pool makes you feel like you're in another place and is very relaxing. We definitely enjoyed our girl time and can't wait to stay again!

I would stay at this hotel over and over again. The only downfall is there is literally nothing around, but who cares? The hotel is clean and quaint. This review is really about the restaurant Crudo in the hotel. I stayed here three days and got food almost every night. The steak Frite is small but AMAZING. They didn't have the short ribs on the night I wanted them, but I am sure they would have been great. My drink of choice was The Eagle Has Landed--thanks to Keith, the bartender, I kept the whiskey instead of changing out for Jack, not a bad choice, and I respect him for his input. At the time, he was training, Wally, who is a great bartender/waiter/host as well. The next time I did "room service" and ordered the burger. Again, Crudo did not disappoint-- big shout out to the chef. Let me tell you about those truffle fries, you can't stop eating them--so good. On the day I was leaving, I decided to give breakfast a shot. Ugh, I wanted to love it, I got the french toast. I really wish I would have read it and got it without the filling, because it was good but REALLY sweet. The coffee was amazing, I really think it was made with love. As stated, I would stay at this hotel over and over again, thank you for making my time in Houston one I wont forget :)

-The WORST I have ever been treated by a business-…read more I have been on this planet for almost 37 years now and have never been talked to, policed by, treated-as-poorly or had my integrity insulted by a business like I was this evening. The premise is simple - if the party does not pay to have bar service then NO alcohol is to be on the premises. (All-good at face value. After all, they are a business and protecting themselves.) What was NOT good was how they went about policing people coming into the party (going as far as to check inside of new arrivals trunks to check for alcohol! I'm sorry, are you the police?) The bartender actually went as far as to - literally here folks - RIP a bag of liquors out of my hands while I was on the phone with my wife. (Uhh...EXCUSE ME?! Assault people much?) This was not the end of our playful trysts of the evening. When we asked her to have the booze back so we could keep it sealed and place it into our locked vehicles, she said that she couldn't do that due to the fact that the business couldn't monitor alcohol outside of the bar. "OK, well - that's my property and I'm going to go put it in my vehicle (again, also my property), where it can stay put and remain unopened." Again, she said she couldn't do that. "So, you're saying that I cannot have my property back?" "Yes sir. I'm sorry, but that is our policy - we simply do not have the staff available to follow individuals around the whole night to make sure they are complying with our policy." "OK! So then can you apologize for acting so rudely and unprofessionally, as to actually remove the bag from my possession while I'm having a conversation with my wife on the phone?! Or, is it too much for me to ask for an additional apology for insulting my integrity?" "Sir, I don't know why you are getting upset and rude with me." At this point I turn to my co-worker beside me and give him the look. [Um, I don't remember calling her any names or yelling or otherwise throwing a tantrum. I've been very calm and understanding up until this point.] "Ma'am, obviously there's been a miscommunication. But we're not being rude with you or upset, although now I'm beginning to become upset." Long story short, we talked with the head of our party, who spoke with the manager. Stephanie, the manager, gave permission for the alcohol to be moved into the bridal suite where there is a refrigerator. I then proceeded to move said liquor to the bridal suite. ---Fast forward 1 hour later--- Well the ceremony is done and it's a hot day. I'm headed over to the bridal suite to have a quick cocktail - not to leave the suite of course! - Only to find out that they had come back into the suite and...get this; STOLEN the liquor!!! No notice. No 'Hey, by the way, we needed to move the liquor in your suite for whatever lame excuse I can come up with.' NOTHING. I swear. It took everything I had at the end of the night not to throw a bottle through a plate glass window! The nerve of these people! I don't know how you could expect someone to have a decent experience when you treat your guests with such blatant disrespect!! So on the hospitality scale, I would give this place a -10. However, I'm sure that if you opt-in for the open bar then you'll have a good time. Provided no one in your party actually has to deal with the snooty-brat-turned-bartender; or has any civil misunderstanding with management. By the way, the view is fantastic! :)

From the planning process to the big day, everyone was kind, professional, and accommodating. That said, we do feel it's important to mention that the DJ company we hired from their all inclusive package (EC Entertainment) completely ruined every key moments of our day, including all the ceremony music, cocktail hour, grand entrance, and our first dance. Our assigned DJ was completely unprofessional. He had ample amount of time to fix the issue, call for help, or at least communicate the issue to someone after the ceremony and did not. Instead he went on with our grand entrance and first dance knowing the sound was completely screwed up. During our first dance he was crashing out, hands on head, pacing back and forth, not knowing what to do. If we could go back we would have been way more intentional in choosing a DJ. Music is such an important part of a wedding, we trusted EC Entertainment and they completely let us down. So many moments of our wedding that were supposed to be special were stolen from us. We will never get those back. No amount of apologies will fix it. Important to mention that our DJ also did not reach out to us for the first time until three days before our wedding. We would absolutely NOT recommend EC Entertainment to future couples, however we do wholeheartedly recommend Addison Woods as a venue. They handled the situation with grace, understanding and compassion. They did everything they could to make it right. They couldn't have known it was going to happen. Please learn from our mistake, do not hire EC Entertainment. Meet with other DJ companies and find your fit.

My husband and I booked the 2 hour experience. It seems like a lot of time, but once you play, it feels like it's not enough! The rooms truly are best played with 2-4 players. There are some rooms where 2 people is nearly impossible to get a perfect score, and there are some rooms where people would just be standing around if you have more than 4 players. Your team will have a team leader who will wear a specific wristband that opens the rooms and allows you to view your score on a big screen in the hallways. If your team doesn't care about rankings and want to just play for fun, then you can go at your own pace or split up if possible, depending on the size of your team. For example, if you have a total of 6 people playing, you could be one team with 1 team captain. For scoring, it would be best to stick together. Or you can split into two teams and have two team captains. That way, your team could split up into teams of 2 and 4 or 3 and 3 depending on the game/room. If you do care about rankings, then stick with your team and try to solve as many rooms as possible and get the perfect score. The rooms are so different! It's a lot of fun. There is definitely something for every one and many rooms to solve. Within the 2 hours, my husband and I were not able to go through all the rooms. Man, after we were done, we wanted to play more! It was exhilarating because you are trying to get through as many rooms as you can and trying to get the best score. It's like we were on a game show. haha Some rooms are addicting to where you want to just play it over and over again, but if you care about your ranking, just move on! lol The rooms have a time limit, which helps you pace yourself and prevent people from hogging a room the entire time. It gives off a "minute-it to win-it" vibe. Running around and trying to find an available room is also fun in itself. It's like a labyrinth in there. There were some technical issues with some rooms. For example, there was a soccer room where one of the goals would not score at all, so that messed with our points. There was another room involving a subway where I seriously think several answers were not on the posters provided. However, it was still fun! The employees were all super nice! One of the employees even helped us play in one room because it was one of those rooms where it would have been impossible to get a good score with only 2 people. I would say this isn't exactly a "one and done" type place. If you play with different people, it will be a different experience. Certain rooms you can definitely memorize and just plug in the answers. However, there are other rooms that are sports and arcade style, so replaying it would still be fun. Furthermore, you may not finish all the rooms the first time and by the next time you come back, they may have added additional rooms/games. Also, since they track rankings, you could try to get a better score the next time you come. The price is sort of expensive, but I think it's worth it. I mean, it's not something I would do every weekend, but I can definitely see us coming back a few more times for special occasions. They do serve food inside the venue. They have a really cool little glass box outside of each room to put your drinks inside. Also, they have free lockers to put in your purse and other valuables if you wish. There are also several cool photo opportunities. This place is just amazing. You have to just come and experience it yourself! This place is perfect for birthday parties, family outings, date night, or just to try something new. I highly recommend this place!

No Joke, by the time the second quarter ended at The Work Lodge Vintage Location, we doubled last quarter's numbers, and the company now outgrew that 3 person office and we now moved into our new 5 person office at the very front of The Work Lodge Vintage location and are seeing the same growth for this quarter. Also, they provided all the HIGH END Modern office chairs, furniture, internet, fruit infused water, coffee, and more!!! Who does that??!! Needless to say, we have not only been able to generate revenue to sustain this growth, but because I went into The Work Lodge and not a traditional office space lease that would lock us down into a long term lease into a 3 year, 5 year, or even 10 year lease, we were able to seamlessly move into a bigger and bigger office each time by simply paying the difference. The ability to scale so effortlessly in a business focus environment is a GAME CHANGER!! I highly recommend The Work Lodge locations to any small, midsize, startups, or established businesses that want a great office space/coworking space to be productive and be around like minded motivated entrepreneurs that are hungry to be successful. Also, The Work Lodge is not a big GLOBO investor driven cookie cutter office/coworking office space company and is a local business with an awesome team and CEO! I am proud to say my company and I will be a Work Lodge Lifer! #iamaworklodgelifer #theworklodge #supportlocalbusiness
