Extremely unsettling experience at the restaurant…read more The most serious issue: our table being photographed by male staff members appeared to be happening and was witnessed by multiple women at our table. The bartender and a bald male staff member stood behind the white swinging bar doors across from us, laughing and repeatedly looking at a phone aimed in our direction. One of them then raised the phone over the doors. After the meal, I directly asked the bartender whether he had taken a picture of our table. Instead of answering clearly, he repeatedly appeared to deliberately misunderstand ("Oh, you want a picture?"), then became visibly nervous when I corrected him: "No, I mean earlier, behind the door." He laughed and claimed it was "a picture of the view." This made no sense. It was already dark outside, the restaurant lights were bright enough to reflect the interior onto the windows, and the bar area was positioned somewhat far from the windows. More than half of our table was women. It was deeply uncomfortable and, frankly, disturbing. There were other disappointments as well. Our party of six was informed only after being seated that we were required to order an exotic tasting menu rather than being allowed to choose individual dishes. A young female server with glasses was polite and genuinely helpful in trying to work with the chef so our table could agree on a single menu, and she was one of the few positives of the evening. Even so, the final bill exceeded €1,000 for food that was merely average. There was also a simple request to have something served on the side that wasn't, but that was just a small mistake. The restaurant itself is visually beautiful. However, what strongly appeared to be photographing guests, followed by an evasive response when questioned directly, crossed a line that no atmosphere or presentation can make up for. Privacy and professionalism should never be optional at that price point.

The porter service will come grab your luggage from the ferries and vice versa. You get priority on the beach chairs because its fairly secluded and others want to use it too. Late in the evening.. not even during peak dining hours. The food lacked flavor and was overall inferior. The prawns smelled and tasted as if they were not fresh. The pasta was thick and flavorless and not consistent with other wonderful food we had experienced thus far. Overall not happy. Since the next four days were full of touring different towns on the Amalfi coast, a boat ride to Capri and the Blue Grotto, and Pompei, I joined them at a different hotel that was more affordable since we basically were just sleeping and showering there. They were so attentive to our needs, knew who we were for the week, and made sure everything was perfect. Just a heads-up, room service is a bit later in the day. They also come around in the late afternoon to bring towels. Overall, the rooms are pretty quiet, especially next to each other. I really loved this location because it's so easy to get to the ferry every day and you can grab a cabana nearby. If you're planning to do a lot of touring, they meet near the hotel, which is great because you can take a quick walk back instead of climbing up hills to another hotel or restaurant. I think there are some trade-offs, but this hotel was definitely worth it for two people! I highly recommend staying here!

I drove in down a long pathway and was able to park in close proximity to the entrance. The security guard notified the front desk so they greeted my outside. The porter took my bags inside. I had arrived before check-in time so I had some time to explore the property before seeing my room. The garden area outside is very nice! I was told that the hotel would be closing for winter in a few days time and that is was slow. Since they did not have high occupancy, they upgraded me for free from a garden view to an ocean view. After 30 minutes or so the room was ready and I was escorted to see the room. It was quite impressive as there was the room itself but had a "sitting room" next it is so it was basically a suite. There was a door to the balcony that had a table for two and an ocean view. We were provided with a complimentary bottle of wine and a Panettone loaf. The room was nice an had everything except for a coffee maker. There was no hot water pitcher either. The bathroom had a toilet where the seat was not aligned to the toilet which is scary for a man as a pinched ball sack would not be good. This property is right next to Piazza Tasso which is the main square and is surrounded by restaurants and shops. There is a bar onsite as well as a Michelin starred restaurant called Terrazza Bosquet. The restaurant was good and the staff were amazing, front desk, concierge, bell staff and restaurant staff. Customer Service is a big priority here. A few small tweaks needed but was a five star experience!

Less than 10 minutes walk down to the beach and bus stop, with lots of shopping nearby. Staff is so friendly and helpful. They assisted us with our ferry transportation due to cancellations from windy/rainy weather while we were there. Upon check-in, they also provided restaurant recommendations and answered any questions we had during the check-in and check-out process. We absolutely loved their breakfast - all the food was so fresh, coffee was made to order and served personally to your table, and their staff was so attentive. We stayed in a room with a balcony and the Positano view was breathtaking. We spent our evenings out on the balcony which was the perfect way to end our days. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Beautiful hotel and would absolutely stay here again!

Walked in on Housekeeper Going Through Our Things…read more We stayed two nights. On the second night around 7 PM, we returned to our room and caught a woman--who identified herself as housekeeping--going through our luggage and personal items. The room had already been cleaned that morning, and she had no cart or cleaning supplies. We reported it to the front desk immediately. Their response? "But was there anything missing?"--completely dismissing that someone was in our room uninvited and actively searching through our belongings. This experience left us feeling extremely unsafe. No apology. No accountability. We would not stay here again.

It spoiled us for the rest of the trip. Just up from the coast and down from the center of town, it was the perfect location. Walkable to everything we wanted or needed. The staff was just amazing. This place is an absolute gem! . The breakfasts are included and are wonderful.
