Las Hadas, a great resort with character! I love this hotel. I have stayed here numerous times. I give it it the 5 stars for the following: -customer service -architecture -relaxing environment -Food There are a couple things I have to mention as when you book this resort you must be aware of where you are staying. This is Las Hadas, an aged resort with character (Santorini in Mexico) Do not expect to see modern flawless rooms where there is not one defect, the rooms have aged, however, that does not take away from the cleanliness of the room and the quality of all other services. You can expect a relaxing environment, this is not a place you want to stay if you are trying to have a fun and rowdy stay. The resort has a buffet restaurant, two reservation restaurants and one seafood restaurant. I highly recommend to make reservation for the more prestigious restaurants. They do have a spa area where the staff is awesome. All in all, this is a very nice resort. The service and architecture keeps me coming back. read more

We came to Las Hadas from a cruise ship and purchased a day pass for $1200 pesos. The pass included unlimited use of the facilities, unlimited alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, and a buffet breakfast and lunch in the resort's restaurants. We also had drink and food service while sitting in our beach chairs. It was not clear if the resort still offered day passes but a phone call confirmed that they do and the $1200 pesos price. This is a beautiful resort with a huge pool (complete with swim up bar), loads of loungers and covered beach chairs, and a calm beach to enjoy. The food is served buffet style and was tasty. It was a $13 (American) taxi ride from the cruise port. All in all it was a great excursion and certainly worth the money. read more

They have tons of amenities including the yacht club right next-door to where you could charter a yacht amazing walkable restaurants and clubs. My family and I spent 3 days at this resort. We had an amazing time. The beach was beautiful with calm water. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We did the all inclusive and felt we got a lot for the price. The rooms could use updating but they were very, very clean. I had a massage and it was wonderful. The weather in Manzanillo was wonderful in early November. I definitely plan on returning! read more

Amazing stretch of private beach with a marina next to it. Good breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Los Delfines Restaurant. The pool is very nice with a swim up bar and a snack bar next to it. There is also a private pool with a bar on route to Los Delfines Restaurant, but you are only allowed to use it if you stay 2 or more nights. The bell hops were very welcoming and check-in staff at the reception were fantastic. Thank you Mariana and Javier! There was a guy playing the guitar in the lobby bar and he was very good. We got a better rate for the hotel through aggregators than at the front desk or on their website. We did the all inclusive option for $120US more for both of us. The food was great, but the drinks are awful. We tried various drinks and in the end, we stuck to beer. There are many drinks and liquor not included in the all inclusive so make sure you read through the list of drinks that are included before you pay. There are also certain foods not included (steaks and lobster). Most of the bars in the hotel close at 7pm. The only one open until 1AM was the lobby bar. I would not recommend the all inclusive option. Our room, #209, was very basic, TV, coffee maker, good views to the beach, but the room is not worth the cost. No character at all. Just a plain, uninteresting room. The A/C is extremely loud, the bed not too comfortable, and the mini bar only had 2 waters, 2 sodas, and 2 canned beers (the rest of the drinks in my pictures are stuff we brought), and those drinks in the mini bar are only included with the all inclusive option. Maybe another wing would be better? The room was definitely not reflecting the pictures they present online. Come for the fabulous beach, friendly staff, and good food, but don't expect much more. read more

I always loved the romance of Las Hadas, in the seventies I first started going there after it was built for the wedding of A prominent South American industrialist daughters wedding ... it was stunning and enchanting . Then it was small almost like a village by Gaudi , The organic architecture is captivating and surreal . The breezes and views are extraordinary the white on white stucco and white marble , the cobblestones it is some thing very special . We spent 3 days & 2nights at this resort. & i have to say the Beach is beautiful i loved the fact that it was private and the water was calm. perfect for my toddler. the check in was easy and fast. when we got to our room there was a light swamp smell, we opened the balcony doors to air out. beds were ok, so was everything else in our room. we went to restaurant later one night and my spouse was not let in with a sleeveless shirt (hello were at the beach lol) we went back to our room to change. not many choices for food outside of the room & who wants room service during a vacation.... anyways the pool area was great, they do have a kids pool as well. its an ok place to stay at some changes can be made. read more

What the once was the "Best Hotel in the World" (1972 Opening) is now showing its age. On a quick 2 nights visit some deficiencies were apparent. Our room had some issues that were tried to be fixed with mixed results. The furniture is where the place shows its age. Some minor finishes done after original construction seem haphazardly done. And like with any other thing, beauty is in the details. Maybe a systematic roll up of remodeling rooms may restore its worthing of AAA-4 Diamond Status. Now the good about the place, hence my rating, recommendation and wish to go back soon for a longer leisure stay. First and foremost, the personnel. Most dedicated staff to make sure your experience is a good one. The traditional mexican hospitality in steroids. Excellent service offered with authentic smiles and... good humor. All the staff must get days of stand-up comedy training (or so it seems), because in the offering of the "pan dulce", an opportune joke accompanies it. And that same attitude is across all the resort. Is like visiting family that just happened to live in a palace. That brings me to... the palace. The place as a whole continues to be architectural eye candy. Beautiful in its unique (out of the Greek Islands, from where its design was inspired) way. The history, prestige and relevance of the place is intact. Special mention to the hotel manager (Don Guillermo) for personally handling our concerns and even more special mention to the masseuses (Marta) that of the hundreds of massages I have needed to have, this was the best E.V.E.R! Just communicate to her what ails you and let her profound knowledge of the human body get to work... steam room, hot tub w/some wine, is just the preamble to paradise. read more

We did the all inclusive package at Las Hadas for a 9 night stay. Our room was nice, the pools were great and everyone was friendly. The buffets were good, especially breakfast.... love the omelette bar! Overall, we were very pleased with the service and facilities. read more

This is the worst hotel ever!!!! Their all inclusive is really not. They give you the shitty food and if you want something different than that crappy all inclusive menu, they sale it to you for a very high price even a can soda. Their pool closes at 7:30pm, they have a horrible service, the waiters tell you their own personal problems among them with out you asking. No one knows what's going on in the Hotel, the restaurants don't respect their schedule, if you get there and hour before they close they won't let you in. They sent you to an other of their restaurants that also denied service. So at 945 pm there is no restaurant where to get food at an all inclusive hotel, Their drinks are awful, but they give you a free mango margarita when you check in. That didn't happen just one time. It happens the 5 days I was there. Think about your vacation and other hotels before booking at this place. read more
