They gave me a room that was known to not have working wifi and after 45 minutes on the phone with front desk and tech support, I was told it's unfixable. Finally they gave me a new room. When I called the next day to ask what time my flight crew was being picked up for the airport the next morning, the front desk staff told me the pick up time for the JFK crew instead of the ATL crew as I had requested. When you're working a 10 hr flight back to the states, an extra 30 minutes of sleep could have helped. Also, there is no ice machine on the 3rd floor and no signs directing you to where ice machines are located, so you may end up pacing your floor back and forth not time before having to call the lobby to ask where the ice machines are. But when you go to the second floor for ice, there is no up button for the elevator, so you will be beckoned back down to the lobby before being able to go back to your room, which is fine except when you're dressed in pajamas bc you were expecting just a quick dash to the ice machine before heading to bed. Lastly, the front entrance of the hotel has only stairs, which is inconvenient for anyone with suitcases, which is pretty much everyone checking into the hotel. Breakfast buffet is good, and the staff is very polite, but I'm pretty peeved about being told the wrong pick up time. Rants from a jet lagged flight attendant. read more
