So, my friend and I went to Rocky Point for the day. Well, it was supposed to be a day trip, but when we forced to stay the night because we didn't know the border closes lmfao (it closes at 8pm, if you were wondering) neither of us had cell phone service, so, we decided to stay close to where we were. Getting lost is a no, no. So, that's how we stumbled across this hotel.
It was easy to book a room. Thankfully, they had rooms available! I think we paid like $40USD for a room with 2 Queen-sized beds. We were supposed to have Wi-Fi, but it cut off before we made it to our room. So, I HIGHLY suggest booking a room a closest to the office, because the further away, there's most likely not going to be any Wi-Fi.
My friend went back to the office to tell them we didn't have Wi-Fi, but they gave him bs excuses as to why it wasn't working. He asked if we could switch to another room, because we hadn't unpacked or anything yet. They said no... So, that was that. We didn't get a percentage off or anything like that. So, the customer service wasn't exactly top tier.
Furthermore, my friend said his pillows were rock hard. Mine were soft. But, then again, I was so exhausted from that day, that I slept like a rock lol Also, they didn't have a refrigerator, a coffee maker, or any other nice appliance like that. The room was very basic. And, the toilet was soooooooo low to the ground, omg! I didn't think my knees were going to make it lol so be prepared lol
We didn't check out the pool or the restaurant because we were so ready to go home lol but I mean other than that, the stay was decent. If you're just going to be there for a night or 2, it'd be fine. Any longer, I'd suggest booking a room at one of the resorts next to the beach. read more
