Great hotel, overall. We stayed at this place in Porto das Dunas beach right outside of Fortaleza for 4 days in August and we loved it. It is beach front, very close to Beach Park, which is an awesome water park, and most of all it is very peaceful. We got the room with a view, and they have A/C, mini fridge (which they will let you use to store your own drinks), a king bed, as well as a nice jet tub and shower with hot water. The staff is really nice overall, but their English is limited. Still, they do everything they can to please. One day, we were late for breakfast by some 10 minutes and still served us food! They also greeted us to our room with a nice complimentary bottle of champagne. The downsides that made me take a star off now: the poor English resulted in us getting overcharged a night - but they fixed it. Also, the wi-fi is not that great, plus you pay a fee per day per device. Beach towels are also an extra fee. Lastly, the roads that lead to this place are very very poorly maintained. We would come back to this place in a heartbeat and would recommend it to friends that would want to stay around Beach Park.
