We first try to get seated at the restaurant patio around 3pm but the host said that we weren't allowed to have only drinks on the patio and pointed us to the "American Bar" I'm not sure why they called it that as it as there was no signage indicating that was the bars name. If you're hungry and the restaurant isn't open, you can order not just food, but beverages of all stripe, from the many takeouts in the area (conduct a Google search and you'll find a way to do this).
