We had a junior suite (room 4 in case you are thinking of booking it) and we could not have been happier. Huge bed, spa bath, massive walk in shower, great wi-fi connection and an atmosphere that meant a couple of days during our stay, we actually didn't leave the room because we were so relaxed and catered for. The building is an old farm that took 3 years to develop into a hotel, it has maintained the small original church on site, a heated pool has been installed and the hotel actually owns the grounds all the way down to the coast. The grounds can be viewed and explored on one of the bikes that can be taken from the hotel. Try the Iberian ham on the room service menu, the price is a bit steep, but it is some of the best I have ever eaten!

The property is spectacular, with incredible sunsets tucked in the valley of beautiful mountains... and minutes away from the beach. The service was *top notch* -- they even offer concierge via WhatsApp which i've never heard of before but makes so much sense. The room was spectacular, and the food was perfect. So lucky to have found this! Definitely recommend.

What a beautiful hotel!…read more After the hustle a bustle of Barcelona, my family was more than ready to make our way to the island getaway portion of our trip. Artiem Audax was beautiful. It is located right, like literally right on Cala Galdana. The rooms were just the right size, even with three of us staying there. The bathrooms were very spacious and well stocked upon our arrival. Now Menorca (Minorca) is a very nature/outdoors oriented island and Audax was a prime location. As soon as you exit the hotel you can make your way to the beach (Cala Galdana) and it's about a two minute walk before you can get you feet in the beautiful blue waters. Then you can also head straight out the main entrance and meet a trail head that will take you around the outer portions of the island. It has some great views and photo ops! I believe it is part of the Cami de Cavalls. Audax is also situated very close to many restaurants and also a great little place that I rented a scooter at for a great day-venture!! This hotel featured a wonderful spa. Which my family was more than willing to partake on our last day there. Having never been to a spa before I was a little out of my element. But I would gladly go again! Over all I would have to say that if you are going to Spain, plan an island getaway, and stay at Artiem Audax. You won't be disappointed!!

Most of the staff can speak at least two languages. While we were there, I heard them speak German, French, English and Spanish. The terrace on the top floor is great for a quiet meal. I came here after 'season' had ended and it was magical view wise…read more The hotel is decent enough, average bedrooms, repetitive food, standard beverages as you would expect, it's winning factor is its proximity to a beautiful beach. We came here all inclusive and was fine for the 5 days but by the end we ventured out to the restaurant. There are 2 pools and a large hot tub, but it wins with the shirt walk down to the beach. (Note: getting the lift is a nightmare, they're are ridiculously small for people with lilo's etc and only fit 4 people. You almost have to take to get the lift to the lower ground for the beach, but you kinda get over it). There's then a hill down to the beach and once you're down there there's a wonderful boardwalk all the way around the cove. TOP TIP: walk along the boardwalk to find a quiet space on the beach and the water. Everyone packs into the first entrance, not worth it. There is a super market and shop on the complex with is nice, you find yourself spending money on umbrellas and lilos, when if you just wait you'll find that people leave there old ones out for other guests upon leaving. Bad Bits: - We caught the bar staff taking to a customer in Spanish laughing at us asking for coffee, ice and Milk... an iced coffee. It was pretty rude. - The entertainment was terrible. As someone who works in the theatre and the arts I was embarrassed. - The restaurant is mayhem so find quiet times. People literally push you. The staff are great and very speedy, but it's very loud with all the clashing of plates. - The bathrooms are pretty scuzzy and old, but you're hardly in your room. - The guests.... they all break the rules, they are all rude, and selfish... which makes you selfish, pretty sad. There was a fight over an open/closed door at one point... petty. (And not the hotels fault just prepare for it) - The maid (every day) left our balcony doors open after going out there, either unlocked or actually open. So always pop back to your room to check! This is a resort with members/owners so the rooms with the best views are usually not available. We did get a ground floor room with a slight view. The rooms have full kitchen/refrigerator which is a nice touch (Aparthotel). Amazing pool area with lounge chairs before the beach/sea cove area. When we first entered, there was a slight musty smell in the room but once we started the wall AC units the smell was gone. Also, a deck with table/chairs. Very quite and peaceful grounds and has an exclusive under the radar feel. Unfortunately they don't have a fitness room but the kind lady told me (jokingly) we do have steps. Steps are a part of this area for sure. This is part of the charm but it is also some work (& could be a challenge for those who aren't mobile although they do have luggage valet service) A few steps to get to the top of the hill for a couple of restaurants and super markets. Once you get to the top you are rewarded with some breathtaking views. About 25 minutes from Menorca airport. Pro Tip: If you stay here, would recommend renting a car if you want to explore other parts of the island and want more options for restaurants. Dropping the car off at airport vs paying transfer fees will equal a couple of days rental fees. The staff was friendly, helpful and always upbeat when we dealt with them. If you want peace/quiet with a beach, restaurant, pool with lounge area just steps way and don't mind/enjoy climbing a few steps to get to where you want to go-check this Resort out!

It's not by any means a luxury resort, but the service provided by the hotel personnel is top notch. Clean rooms, a varied breakfast buffet, a decent pool area and the nicest beach of the Menorcan west coast is right outside the hotel door. The beach actually draws quite a few locals as well, but it still doesn't get too crowded. The restaurant on the ground floor with its patio towards the beach is open to everyone and offers remarkably good meals at sensible prices. Everything from sandwiches to main dishes and drinks is masterfully crafted, and the relaxed atmosphere makes your stay even more enjoyable. After trying out a handful of restaurants from Cala en Bosc to Ciutadella, we still ended up at the hotel restaurant most of the evenings - it simply stood out as the best of the bunch. The dedicated staff of the hotel work from early morning to early night to make your stay memorable and delightful, and I cannot recommend this hotel enough! P.S.
