Hottman did my driveway and back patio. While the work turned out fine, they broke the siding of my house while doing it. I was actually home for lunch while they were out there doing the patio which they obviously did not notice. I heard some banging on my windows from their tools and a couple other noises. When I came out to leave, the guys were leaving and were all wide eyed. Once the concrete settled and I went on my back patio to check it out, a chunk of my siding was missing and the pieces were just left on my patio. This is not respectable work to damage someone's home they work very hard for, and to not even have the nerve to apologize and at least notify them of the accident. While I obviously said something and got it taken care of, I have lost trust for a company with workers like this. I won't be asking them to do any work on my house ever again. read more

They poured our new patio which is a significant amount and never once told me they didn't accept credit cards! I purposely paid my card ahead of time and then was left with no options but to pay with a check for a large amount. What large company that has invoices for thousands of dollars doesn't accept credit?? read more

First time I called for a quote to get a quote for two residential retaining walls, sidewalk, and a patio, left a message that was never returned. Second time, was told by the receptionist "Sorry, we can't help you with that," and after saying that she hung up on me. Considering this company's website describes residential concrete work, and that it was recommended to us by a friend who had residential concrete work done, was surprised by this response. Would have been great to hear what the does do, and perhaps a recommendation for another company more in line with our needs. read more

Have had a terrible time with their concrete work. Terrible cracking in my driveway a year after it was poured three years later I'm going to have to have it re-poured. Could never get a return phone call or email. Neighbors have had similar issues. read more

Terrible experience. The concrete cracked after less than a year, now three years later I'm left with a driveway that hasn't cracked anywhere else but the slab that Hottman poured. Will need to be replaced. Could never get a call back. When I finally heard from someone their response was "concrete cracks". This is far beyond normal expansion cracks. Poor service and have heard the same form neighbors. read more
